You cannot imagine how wonderful it was to be young when this was new music. The 80's was a wonderful time when the music was good and both the men and women were pretty. It warms this Gen X'ers cold little heart whenever it plays.
WOW....I Had the honor of being a roadie with the Monsters of Rock Tour if you are familiar with that time...Gypsy was my favorite..Cindy only came in on the last 5 shows...amazimg...I can send you pics...no shit.
So many good ballads to be classified as the best. I will agree its up there. I'd say all depends on the mood you're in or what happened in your relationship. Just throwing out my thoughts. Definitely a great one
I won't argue this at all, but you have to add Slaughter to this short and distinguished list with Fly to the Angels. Mark Slaughter was the real deal too and i have often thought that the reason Slaughter didn't become the best ever is because they got started late and the grunge movement pushed away the glam/hair rock genre before they could get firmly rooted.
This was in MTV’s Prime..Bands would spend 100’s of thousands of dollars on these videos, hiring famous directors and the obligatory swimsuit models…..I was 22 when this came out…great time to be young..most of it is a blur now..
I think “Shake Me” was Cinderella’s first single. It has a raunchy sound to it. Also, check it Somebody Save Me. My favorite Cinderella songs are Shelter Me and Gypsy Road.
I love Nothin' For Nothin' and Back Home Again as well. They don't get mentioned as often. But Somebody Save Me may be my favorite Cinderella song of all.
You definately need to check out Gypsy Road By Cinderella !! It is their best song in my opinion and 80s rock was about partying, picking up girls and having fun !! If you were there you get it !! Brings back fun young dude memories !
"Gypsy Road" must be one of their biggest hits... "Shake Me" is also good. Both non ballads. Their best ballad though in my opinion is "Don't Know What You Got".
Glad you reacted to this one by Tom and the boys. This one and Heartbreak Station are my favorites by Cinderella keep up the great work love what you do.
Cinderella does not have a bad song on any of their 3 albums the 2nd and 3rd got much more bluesy. Shake Me introduced Cinderella to the world, and is a great song, Somebody Save Me is another great more rocking tune as well.
Cinderella was one of the best rock bands out of the 80's, but they had a streak of bad luck that ended their career... Formed in Philly in the early 80's, the band featured Tom Keifer (vocals & guitar) and Eric Brittingham (bass)... Jeff LaBar (guitar) joined Cinderella and the band was signed in 1986 and recorded this debut album 'Night songs'... Fred Coury (drums) joined for the tour. Cinderella opened for Bon Jovi on tour... signed to the same label (Mercury Records) and had a 3x platinum hit by 1987 w/ hits like 'Shake me'... "Nobody's fool"... 'Somebody save me'... 🔥🔥🤘🤘 However, Tom Keifer was frustrated that Cinderella was known more for their glam image than their music... So, for the 2nd album 'Long cold winter' in 1988, the album had a white cover and few band photos... Drum tracks were contributed by (the late) Cozy Powell (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, MSG, etc.) even though Fred Coury was the drummer.... 'Long cold winter' sold another 3x platinum in the US and scored a huge ballad single - "Don't know what you got (Til its gone)"... along w/ MTV hits like - 'Gypsy road'... 'The last mile'... 'Coming home'. Hoping for more musical recognition, Cinderella ditched the "big 80's" production on the 3rd album 'Heartbreak station' in 1990... songs had more blues and country influences... stripped down the guitars without reverb. It sold platinum. Cinderella launched a headline tour in 1991, but Tom Keifer was struggling to sing live on that run... Keifer soon discovered he had developed medical issues and needed surgery on his vocal chords... Cinderella went on hiatus as he got treatment in 1992, and 90's grunge soon wiped out the popularity of 80's bands. After a long delay and recovery, Cinderella finally returned in 1994 w/ their final album 'Still climbing'... (Fred Coury left the band and was replaced in the studio and on tour), but the album sold poorly and the band split up by 1996. In 1998, Cinderella reunited the original line-up (Keifer/ Brittingham/ LaBar/ Coury) and began touring again... They signed a new record deal, but a new album never materialized... Tom Keifer had to undergo more surgeries on his vocals and Cinderella would tour often over the next decade or so... Their final show was in 2014. In 2017, Tom Keifer announced he was releasing a solo album and tour, revealing that Cinderella was done. Guitarist Jeff LaBar passed away in 2021 after years of abusing alcohol (R.I.P.)
I saw them when they came out and was touring with Bon Jovi back in ‘86-87. My mom even got my sister and I and a friend each out of school early so we could go to a record store to meet them before the concert!
I love that lyric: “you take your road, I’ll take mine. The paths have all been beat.” Definitely sent this song to a few girls in my early teens back in the day.
One of the only "Glam" bands of the era who were worth a shit. Saw them open for Bon Jovi back in the day and they killed it. For the line "I scream my heart out" Keifer held the word "scream" as the lights slowly came up then the band paused. ...goosebump moment. As far as other songs? Everyone is going to say "Shake Me" and "Somebody Save Me". You could also check out "Back Home Again", "Push Push". They started to reveal their Blues influences on Long Cold Winter and by Heartbreak Station they were, pretty much, a straight up Blues band.
One of my favourite 80s bands that i was fortunate enough to see in early 91 while i had a serious chest infection, loved every minute of watching them
Remember this so vividly for something from over 35 years ago. First concert I was able to drive to myself, Bon Jovi & Cinderella in Rupp Arena (Bon Jovi's " Slippery When Wet" tour) March of 87 (my 16th birthday). I had a 74 Camaro and went to see Cinderella. Titties and weed everywhere lol. Glad you liked it. Can't believe 52yr me still remember all the words lol.
Saw them open for Bon Jovi in 87 when I was 17 ❤️❤️❤️ remember I wore my black suede jacket with fringe/matching boots, TIGHT acid wash jeans and a ripped up Motley Crue tshirt. 80’s concerts were f’n awesome😅😅😅😅
My absolute two favorite songs from them are “Nothin’ For Nothin’” off of their album NIGHT SONGS and “Bad Seamstress Blues/Fallin’ Apart At The Seams” off of LONG COLD WINTER. They are absolutely worth reacting to.
There are si many Cinderella songs that are great, alot of their music doesn't get recognition, Hard To Find The Words, Sun shines through the rain, just to name a few, please explore more cinderella....❤
I agree 👍 with you: metal from the 1980s rocks 🎸 😎 🤘 Tom Kiefer goes from Klaus Meine to another voice. Underrated singer for metal. 😃 Unfortunately, Tom Kiefer, the lead singer, said that Cinderella will not reunite. 😢 At least, Keifer continues to write ✍ and tour. 😃 Great 👍 song 🎵 Suggested video 📹: Cinderella performs Don't Know What You Got Until It's Gone.
“Shake Me” was the song playing on the girls’ radio. It’s a good and nasty song. My favorite Cinderella by far is “Bad Seamstress Blues/Falling Apart At The Seams.” And yes, the song is just as badass as the title.
This song is off of Night Songs which is one that he best Hard Rock albums of the 80’s very underrated and overlooked..and these guys should have dressed in jeans and T Shirts .. would have fit their sound more ..
Amazing Power Ballad form the 80's. I think Cinderella is an underrated band. Tom Kiefer is so talented. Great on lead guitar and lead vocals. I saw him a few years back and he also played piano and saxophone. Definitely a little different than a lot of the 80's hair bands. lots of blues influence in there music.
Shelter by them is fantastic!! Pamela Anderson and Little Richard are in it amongst other celebs. Also, The Last Mile is an absolute bangor by them. Thanks!!
Lead Singer Tom Keifer has a Great Voice & is a Frontman’s Frontman. This is the 2nd Video of the Cinderella Trio of Amazing Songs & Cinderella and Her Sisters. “Shake Me” Rocks Then react to “Somebody Save Me” also a Rocker. Then close it out with another killer Ballad, “Don’t know what you got til it’s gone”. You will love them all
In all fairness, the cheesiness of these videos are from the record labels. Today's music videos really match the song more than back then. Also, my theory is, with these bands, their true talent comes from their sophomore albums and beyond. When they actually get out from underneath the record execs telling them what songs to make to put on radio. When the band starts writing for themselves, it's a different listening pleasure.
I saw them in the eighties they opened for poison Tom keifer is still rocking with his own band. Hell of a man, songwriter, and entertainer. Genius imo. Check out the Cinderella song from the eighties called somebody save me.
You have to go down the Cinderella rabbit hole.. you’ll not regret it. For something harder try: last mile bad seamstress blues (one of my personal favorites) shake me For emotional songs which are great by them.. great ballads try: Don’t know what you got til it’s gone Heartbreak station Coming home For a nice fun song which you will enjoy, hard not to def try: shelter me
You cannot imagine how wonderful it was to be young when this was new music. The 80's was a wonderful time when the music was good and both the men and women were pretty. It warms this Gen X'ers cold little heart whenever it plays.
Gypsy Road should be your next Cinderella song.
I agree!
Great song
You should check out Nothing for Nothing by Cinderella
WOW....I Had the honor of being a roadie with the Monsters of Rock Tour if you are familiar with that time...Gypsy was my favorite..Cindy only came in on the last 5 shows...amazimg...I can send you pics...no shit.
great choice
'Shake Me' and 'Somebody Save Me' should be next on your list to check out from Cinderella.
This is a rabbit hole you NEED to go down.
This is, by far, the absolute best ballad from the era. Tom Keifer is the real deal. He deserves to be remembered in the pantheon of rock greats.
So many good ballads to be classified as the best. I will agree its up there. I'd say all depends on the mood you're in or what happened in your relationship. Just throwing out my thoughts. Definitely a great one
Heartbreak Station, You Don't Know What You Got Until It's Gone, etc
Lol, I never even thought about this being a ballad. I guess I just mostly noticed and enjoyed the power aspect of this power ballad.
Wise words my friend...and absolute agree...Keifer is one - if not the best - top 80s rock vocalist for me 💪
I won't argue this at all, but you have to add Slaughter to this short and distinguished list with Fly to the Angels. Mark Slaughter was the real deal too and i have often thought that the reason Slaughter didn't become the best ever is because they got started late and the grunge movement pushed away the glam/hair rock genre before they could get firmly rooted.
Another really good song of theirs is Don't Know What You Got Til It's Gone. It's another ballad, but it's so good. Great reaction!! 🙂
80s hard rock concerts are the best, you get great music and great entertainment
Best power ballad of all the hair metal band from the 80s.
This was in MTV’s Prime..Bands would spend 100’s of thousands of dollars on these videos, hiring famous directors and the obligatory swimsuit models…..I was 22 when this came out…great time to be young..most of it is a blur now..
This song and Somebody Save Me are two of my favorites by Cinderella.
You picked the right song,T. This is by far my favorite Cinderella song.
Cinderella and Great White got thrown into the hair metal heap . But they were both excellent blues rock based bands .
“Bad Seamstress Blues” is a banger.
Should have done “Shake Me”unless you were in for a ballad.
Absolutely
I think “Shake Me” was Cinderella’s first single. It has a raunchy sound to it. Also, check it Somebody Save Me. My favorite Cinderella songs are Shelter Me and Gypsy Road.
I love Nothin' For Nothin' and Back Home Again as well. They don't get mentioned as often. But Somebody Save Me may be my favorite Cinderella song of all.
Glam Rock Metal at its finest 😂❤ Back in the Day. ❤ Try Shake Me
Cinderella - Save Me! ROCK AND ROLL
Bad Seamstress Blues is my fav by these guys. Blues/Rock combo song.
This song is so good. Brings me joy. Boston- we're ready gives me chills to
80s metal was such a great time for music,CINDERELLA is one of the great bands of that era...great job T...
Shake Me is a great tune. Catchy, energetic, and rockin'! One of my all time favorites. Definitely worth your time!!!
They have some great songs, The Last Mile is one of my favorites.
Dont know what you got til its gone is their best but it's a kickass ballad. For an upbeat do Shake Me or Shelter Me.
Lead singer had the quintessential rock voice! I heard them in '86 when they were opening for Bon Jovi!
They were criminally underrated
Bad Seamstress Blues/Falling Apart At The Seams is a great rocker. So many to choose from. The More Things Change and Shelter Me too
Glad you reacted to this one by Tom and the boys.

Great but Criminally Underrated Band.
Tom is a great person hung out with him a few times over the years Cinderella was the most under rated band of the 80s
I love that lyric: “you take your road, I’ll take mine. The paths have all been beat.” Definitely sent this song to a few girls in my early teens back in the day.

Somebody Save Me, Last Mile, Gypsy Road, Heartbreak Station, Bad Seamstress Blues
Cinderella! 🤘 80s Metal!!
Somebody Save Me, Shake Me, Gypsy Road, Last Mile all hard rocking
Cinderella is an epic group
Somebody Save me is a cool one also.
Apparently Cinderella was discovered and pushed by Jon Bon Jovi
love the lead singers voice. Clearly talented.
The 80s were a time for me where it was wild and free and the music was awesome. Such a great time in my life.
I loved Cinderella...I had this tape in the 80s. This was their main hit. They kinda came from the DIO area of mid-evil rock.
Shelter me showcases the talent in the band. I highly recommend it
Dead Man's Road is a criminally underrated Cinderalla track. Heartbreak Station is a very good album.
I saw them live with a backstage pass. I was in line for another group and a guy gave me the ticket and pass.
FWIW, this is my favorite song by them.
Wasn't my favorite band, but nostalgia just jumped through my roof. :)
One of my favourite 80s bands that i was fortunate enough to see in early 91 while i had a serious chest infection, loved every minute of watching them
“Somebody Save Me” kicks ass!! And the vid is really cool, too.

Cinderella's hardest songs, Bad Seamstress Blues (my favorite) and Once Around The Ride.
This song never gets old!
My absolute two favorite songs from them are “Nothin’ For Nothin’” off of their album NIGHT SONGS and “Bad Seamstress Blues/Fallin’ Apart At The Seams” off of LONG COLD WINTER. They are absolutely worth reacting to.
nice, def my fav Cinderella song 👌 you picked a good one, imo the best one lol
Shake Me, Somebody Save Me, and Gypsy Road are bangers.
I miss the 80's. The music, the clothes, the parties.
Dont know what you got till its gone!!! is a must
Man I miss guitarist Jeff LaBar. Gone too soon Jeff.
The title track to this album....Night Songs.... Is super killer
I love that you love this music! It's the best! Time is proving it!
There are si many Cinderella songs that are great, alot of their music doesn't get recognition, Hard To Find The Words, Sun shines through the rain, just to name a few, please explore more cinderella....❤
Ugly Kid Joe - Neighbor
Skid Row - Quicksand Jesus
Being a teenager during the MTV 80s was awesome.
Love Cinderella
That is as hard as it gets but they are the king of ballads
I agree 👍 with you: metal from the 1980s rocks 🎸 😎 🤘
Tom Kiefer goes from Klaus Meine to another voice. Underrated singer for metal. 😃
Unfortunately, Tom Kiefer, the lead singer, said that Cinderella will not reunite. 😢 At least, Keifer continues to write ✍ and tour. 😃
Great 👍 song 🎵 Suggested video 📹: Cinderella performs Don't Know What You Got Until It's Gone.
One of my favorite bands in the late 80s, shake me and somebody save me are harder if that’s what you looking for 👍🏼
Stay in their Rabbit Hole !! Great group!!!
Shake me is a bit more rockin'!!!
Soooo many good songs of theirs.
Nobody's Fool was their big radio hit, but my favorite was Bad Seamstress Blues
I love this sound.....I always have!!! Thanks you ❤❤
“Shake Me” was the song playing on the girls’ radio. It’s a good and nasty song. My favorite Cinderella by far is “Bad Seamstress Blues/Falling Apart At The Seams.” And yes, the song is just as badass as the title.

This is one of the best 80s rock bands IMO. Check out 'Somebody Save Me'
Cinderella was an amazing band for sure.
Shelter by them is fantastic!! Pamela Anderson and Little Richard are in it amongst other celebs. Also, The Last Mile is an absolute bangor by them. Thanks!!

“Somebody Save Me” also a Rocker. Then close it out with another killer Ballad, “Don’t know what you got til it’s gone”. You will love them all
The album is a banger🔥🔥
I loved Cinderella back in the 80's, my favourite was and still is a beast ofa song and that's Night Songs.
Tom Keifer is a very talented man who is still going strong.
If I would had known how great of a time it was, I would had try to enjoy it more!!!
Love Cinderella my favorite group. There rock/blues sound was so unique. You should check out Don't know what you've got until it's gone.
This song gets a lot of radio play still
Their best album came after Hair Metal had faded. Still Climbing. The title track and Can't Get Blood from a Stone are both awesome.
In all fairness, the cheesiness of these videos are from the record labels. Today's music videos really match the song more than back then. Also, my theory is, with these bands, their true talent comes from their sophomore albums and beyond. "Gypsy Road" is a great one.
Gypsy Road. My fave song by them.
This video is kind of a continuation of the shake me video following the Cinderella story
It has a double meaning. Nobody's Fool, as in still a fool but belonging to nobody.
His voice is incredible. The side story is kinda stupid but the band is epic! This is exactly what they looked like and sounded like in concert
Seen Cinderella at the one and only Hammerjacks in baltimore back in the day. Lots of fun. Peace out
I saw them in the eighties they opened for poison Tom keifer is still rocking with his own band. Hell of a man, songwriter, and entertainer. Genius imo. Check out the Cinderella song from the eighties called somebody save me.
You have to go down the Cinderella rabbit hole.. you’ll not regret it. For something harder try:
last mile
bad seamstress blues (one of my personal favorites)
shake me
For emotional songs which are great by them.. great ballads try:
Don’t know what you got til it’s gone
Heartbreak station
Coming home
For a nice fun song which you will enjoy, hard not to def try:
shelter me
Bad Seamstress Blues
