Thanks T for the reaction, glad you enjoyed it. RIP to guitarist Jeff LaBar (2021).Singer, guitarist Tom Keifer was diagnosed with paralysis of the left vocal cord. He had surgeries on his vocal cords and was forced to learn how to sing again because of the paralysis of his left cord. I saw Cinderella in 2010 open for the Scorpions and he sounded great. Saw Keifer solo in 2013 and he was great then too.
"Somebody Save Me" is a fantastic, hard rocking song by Cinderella (from the same album as "Shake Me"). Long Cold Winter, their second album, was more evolved and mature, and quite good, with "Gypsy Road" probably the most popular song from it.
They put on a great show. I saw them twice on this tour. The opened up for Bon Jovi and opened for David Lee Roth. I was 16 at the time. Growing up in the 80s was awesome!
I was18 when I got out of high school in 1986 the 80s were the best years of my life the music was great sports were best buddies were white and black and we all loved this kind of music not like it is now
PS. The ending of this Video goes right into the 1st Cinderella Video you reacted to “Nobody’s Fool”, and that Video plays right into a 3rd Video “Somebody Save Me”. More amusing lyrics. Another Cinderella Video or 2 to React to would be “Shelter Me” and “Don’t Know What You’ve Got”. All High Quality Songs
Saw them twice, one they Opened for Def Leppard on their Hysteria tour and the Second time was for the Long Cold Winter tour, where they headlined. They were awesome both times.
In my opinion their best album was Night Songs because they were able to capture the music of that era so perfectly, and each song had a unique sound. I bought their next two albums, hoping they would stick with their initial sound, but they went more a laid back bluesy route. That's not to say they didn't have great songs, they did, but for a fan expecting the second album to be hard-hitting, it was a departure I wasn't ready for. I don't know if they ever returned to their original form, most likely because the 90's hit and grunge took over. Therefore, I recommend primarily all of the songs on the Night Songs album because it is their 80's metal sound.
Yea, it did & know as i was there! Twas their first video. Longest shoot i was ever on too. & for what? Not more than others did in 1/4 or less of the time. We got locked in too! All were pissed, band included! Sadly, they were not a hairspray band long before this- record lables-smh!
Had 6 girls and another 4 guys besides me piled in my 1980 Toyota Celica convertible to go to an autograph session at a record store with Cinderella. Then went to see them open for David Lee Roth on his first solo tour. They were great guys in person, and blew the roof off the place live Tom Keifer has one of the best voices live there is. That concert is right at the top of my list of all time greats.
@@austinking2k I’ve been to over 900 concerts, that show is top 2 all time for me with Iron Maiden/ Twisted Sister Powerslave tour. Could never really decide between the two
I love watching you react to our beloved 80's party/glam music. You seem to "get it" every time. This music was all about being young and having fun and there isn't anything more fun than shaking all night long. :) I've seen Cinderella a couple of times back in the day, and they were just as amazing as you would think they were.
I was lucky enough to see Cinderella live quite a few times over their 3 decades of playing. They were one of the best live shows I ever saw, always consistent. I've seen a lot of live shows since the early 80's and these guys were just a great live, high energy, talented live band.. Never disappointed me.
Hey T, their song "DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU GOT TILL IT'S GONE" is another good one !! It's a ballad but it's a great song nonetheless. It did very well on the charts too !! 👍🏻💛🌼
Tom Keifer is a seriously under rated musician. Saw Cinderella live late (probably about 12 years ago) . They were fantastic live. Besides singing lead, Tom also played lead guitar on most songs, piano, Saxophone, and mouth harp.
I'm looking forward to Gypsy road and the rest of their Blues influence. Cinderella were SO much more than a hair-metal band. Tom is a legend and if you get a chance watch them live in Detroit
I saw Cinderella in 89 in Montreal and they were amazing. They had one of the best saxophone solos I've ever seen. It went for about 20 minutes. They were highly underrated although they did go platinum.
Thank you for the reaction. I saw Cinderella, on this tour in 1987, and they were BAD-ASS, we thought the CD was playing, bc it was so fkn good. These guys were fkn awesome LIVE. RIP, Jeff Lebar. Thank you, for the memories. SHAKE ME,

I saw them open for AC/DC in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1988. Maybe the best opening act I've ever seen. Also, according to Cinderella, they always loved Little Rock because the first time they were here, the fans were so wild outside the coliseum they almost tipped their tour bus over with their bare hands! Later on, they actually recorded a live E.P. in Little Rock. It's called "Live Train to Heartbreak Station". It's an import from Japan, but it's very cool.

They were my favorite live band from the 80's. I saw them 5 times for the Long Cold Winter tour. They liked to do old theater tricks versus pyrotechnics antics. Coming Home is my favorite song of theirs, but they don't have a bad song (imho)
i don't think i ever knew all the lyrics to this, it's a spicy one. But yeah, Robert Downey Jr. did a great job with those guitar twirls. I always thought Jeff Labar (RIP) looked like him, from the first time I saw this video.

I saw them open for Motley Crue in the late 80s. They should have been the headliner. Awesome stuff!
These guys are great. Plenty of great choices for songs too. My particular go to tunes are Bad Seamstress Blues/Falling Apart at the Seams and Gypsy Road. Great reaction man, peace out.
He'll be reacting to Gypsy Road as per my request. Watch for it.
