Last year, I put out a video going through all the notable easter eggs and secrets from The Last of Us. I said that I'd follow it up with a video doing the same with Red Dead Redemption, another one of my favourite games. It's a little late, but it seemed like an appropriate time to put this out. I can't believe Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally here. Just a heads up, I've waited 8 years for this game so I don't want to rush my experience for the sake of making a video. You might have to wait a little longer than usual while I take my time with the game. I hope you guys understand. I also really hope you guys enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making! I know this is really picky of me but any guitar fanatics out there will know that George Harrison isn't actually playing the 'Lucy' guitar in the clip at 2:23. The 'Lucy' guitar was actually a red Gibson Les Paul instead of a Gibson SG. I don't expect Guru to know that though :D love the long vids

You left out a good bit. There’s a halo 3 reference on a tombstone “wake me if something interesting happens.” There’s actually daniel Plainview’s character which can be found. There’s foreshadowing of Jack avenging his fathers death when he tells his father about the book he is reading. There’s the ghost town of tumbleweed which has voices that can be heard. There are also references that foreshadow red dead 2. Also you completely left out the red dead revolver Easter egg which was the first (although unrelated) game
0:42 if this music doesn’t give you chills, then you’re missing out big time. Everybody should watch the Clint Eastwood westerns to understand this Easter egg. Starting with “A Fistful Of Dollars” then “For a Few Dollars More” and lastly “The Good the Bad and the Ugly”. There’s others that are amazing but those are the staples for the best memories.
I dont know if anyone else said this but in the mines at the far left of the map there is a reference to Back to the Future where there is an X on a plank which in the film hid the DeLorean
Also at 2:40 I think the "killed by a blow to the head" is a reference to another Beatles song, "Maxwell's Silver Hammer". In the song Maxwell kills several people by striking them in the head with his hammer.
in the base game i noticed a message on the wall next to where john would live as a zombie in undead nightmare. It says, "oh, my son. My blessed son." I didnt notice it in the video but i may have missed it.
At 4:25 when it goes to the movie 'There will be Blood' - what's that soundtrack name? I'm sure its from movie's ost, but i couldn't find exact theme. Thanks.

Thanks! I made this video over a period of about 3 weeks, but that's only because I was making other things. If I was to focus on doing nothing but making the video, I could probably put it together in 5-6 days. Editing took about 2-3 days. For a regular sized video (3-5 minutes), it usually takes 2-3 days with both recording and editing.
Just wanted to correct the fact that spanish people do NOT have middle names, rather they have more then one last name. But thanks so much for this video keep up the good work!
i was looking through my old achievements on my very first xbox 360 (i have 2 of'em) and i found the six years in the making achievement i didnt get the reference then, funny i dont even remember getting it (achievement) but now i get the reference. thats a pretty cool easter egg. i never even played the main story mode till last year i just always played the undead redemption lol. I love the story mode its a really good game and i use to think undead redemption was better (i like both the same).
In the clip about jebs girl. You can see an article about irish being killed by an accidental discharge from his weapon. I guess thats his fate after the games complete.
