Helped a buddy work on another friends kart. We swapped in a 212 predator and did a few things to it. Hope yall enjoy it!

I wish you guys could ride Hot Balls Johnson, I'm building that to basically be an adults "ideal" yard kart. Biggest problem I have is slowing it down without locking the axle and ultimately the torque converter if I put one of my performance engines in it. Hopefully I'll be figuring out some disc brake options. I REALLY wish I was skilled enough to figure out a 3 way hydraulic system with a manual handle out back for ummm....extra turning radius....🙄.
Man, I'm sorry I'm just now seeing this comment. A 3way system, thats interesting sounding. Might have to take a look into that and make it happen, then you can patent it and sell it to us knuckle draggers!!!
@@LNRRidez it's the dang front disc thing that gets me. I tried to space it out but I'd actually need longer spindles and junk.....I think I'll be satisfied if I can get a manual disc brake with a lever at this point!

Hey will the 212 fit on the double seater Coleman go cart 196 model
Did the 212 drop right into the old motor mount holes for the original engine? Or did you have to modify the mount
I have the same go kart and got a 212 hemi, the engine fits right in it without having to cut any new holes. You don't have to modify the cable either. I'm just currently trying to figure out the clutch.
Did you connect the 212 to the existing on/off switch to the go-kart?
I don't believe we did.
I can ask a quick question what will happen if your mini bike make a lot of noise is it the pool starter
I'm not sure, I would have to hear the noise to be able to see what the problem may be.

Cant I just buy the 212 that comes with the pull cord the correct way. I want to do this but I saw there's two 212 engines same price. do you know what the difference is besides the pull rope?
Which brand of 212 are you talking about? Of you're referring to the Predators then yes they BOTH come like this. They are motors designed for pressure washer, trash/water pumps etc so you will need to rotate the pull cord on both of them (non-hemi & hemi).

Hey how many tooth clutch do you have and how many tooth is the sprocket? ⚙️
I'm not sure to be honest, it was a quick fix and returned it to the owner. The sprocket was what originally came on the go kart.
I did this and my go kart keeps taking off as soon as I start it. How can I fix this issue? Help please
Were you able to used the same clutch? Should be there same 3/4 Bore 12T correct ?
The clutch was bad, it was a used one the owner bought from Facebook market place. We replaced it with a brand new one and everything was fine.

Yes we did and returned it to the owner. The clutch was bad and had to order a new one if I remember correctly.
my go kart is that 212 in all
