A few weeks ago I did an ask me anything q&a on Instagram and many questions were sent on why I work and travel despite having a toddler. I feel guilt trip is strapped on most women and it’s unfair. So I decided to share unpopular opinions here on my channel and address them. Pls leave your questions for my next q and a ( new community post or under this )
It happens with me, my in laws always say that women has more physical and mental power to do household chores as well as office work and to take care of baby alone. But as man can not do all these things. I never agreed with them and always reply that these are excuses to avoiding work😅. But luckily my husband do not listen to them. He always shares house hold work with me😊
As someone in my 20s as a daughter I always feel guilty when I am taking rest like I am wasting my time 🥲❤️🩹 I thought I am the only one and this is much needed 🫶
Shweta a lot of credit goes to ur husband for letting u move cross country to pursue ur passion while staying away from his child and also credit goes to ur mom who helps take care of ur child since the time she was born so kudos to them . Also a lot of women don’t have choice a lot of us have to travel in tubes to get to a 9-5 job come home have dinner ready at the table and contribute in everything . In ur case ur lucky u have so much help 🙏🙏🙏🙏
No no I’m so sorry .. I chose to be here for work and it was my choice. My husband didn’t let me . I made a choice to be financially independent instead of hearing what do you do all day sitting at home. I was doing it all in London with zero help too. Mom only looks after her for the time I’m filming. Not otherwise because it’s unfair otherwise. The only fortunate thing out here is that I work from home but the workload is there. My point here is that be it a stay at home mom or working mom .. guilt we will always carry . We are talking about guilt here
