1. Plan towards it
2. Be frugal and minimal on spending (don't buywhy you don't need )
3. Save money towards retirement (Roth IRA/401k)
4. Build an emergency fund
5. Save to invest, this is the most important because it's a proven way to get richer. Very important to financial success.

I remember you saying that you was going to leave house hunting alone for awhile but God had other plans! The house is beautiful and I can’t wait to see how you decorate it, I’m here for it. I started paying attention to my credit awhile back… I’m much older than you and I don’t really care about being a home owner but I do want a better apt next yr or even the yr after n a new car. Needless to say I checked my credit report and the company that was keeping me from getting a better apt had been deleted and all I could do was say “thank you lord”… God is faithful to the ones that are faithful to him.
