Congrats on buying your first house 🏠. I bought my first house at 25. Now I’m 27 and own two houses. I’m closing on my third house July 22nd. It’s addicting when you realize how quickly you can build your wealth through real estate. I started my channel to educate others how to do the same.
Because when I was younger people would often tell us ohhh you don't need a house now...you wait until you have a family... you know that conditioning of the mind mentality. Had I known then everything I know now... I probably would have had about five houses renting them out
SahuriPlays Hi am if you google my email is meservices13@yahoo.com if you like for me to give you additional information about home buying programs in Florida. Have a bless day!
I was not looking to buy a house. I didn’t think it was something I could do or afford on my own but I was having such a hard time finding apartments that my mom and best friend convinced me into buying a house. I’m so glad I did it.
This is AMAZING! Let ppl know you don't have to be "older" to buy a house! Start investing early guys💯 I hope this video reaches millions of young people who need to hear this🙌🏾
My husband and I just started the process of buying a new build. You were not lying about the different people and phone calls. I cant keep up. We are suppose to close in late August or early September 2020. I'm excited. The only regret I have is not doing this sooner when we were younger. Now 17 1/2 years in about to buy our first home.
I am so where you were at in this process. I so am looking for an apartment but little voice is saying buy a home. You pop up in my feed. This must be a sign. Thank you for posting this video.
U guys r lucky in America well some states that I see anyway..at 22 I just finished university and had a daughter bless you I always thought u can buy a house when u settled in late 20s. Just turnt 30 and about to buy my own house too...In the UK we need 10% and in London our house prices r no joke. I decided to move out of London and now the UK introduced 5%for first time buyers so I've got that cash and more. I'm gonna buy me and my kids a home now and I came across this video. Bless you!! I dont even know you never watched a video but well done to you... buy another one rent it out travel girl and come back amazing!!!
For my first place I will be buying a home. A lot of the apartments are only $100 less a month than a mortgage. Utilities may not be included but it’s so worth it for a house.
Buying is a great choice for those young people that KNOW they'll be working and living at one home for years. Selling isn't always easy. Whereas an apartment will be much easier to move out of within a year max. Congrats on your new home!!!!
I live with my parents right now as I finish up with college, but I am trying to decide whether I want to rent or buy when I move out. Prior to moving back home, I lived on my own in an apartment for over 3 years and when I added up what I paid in those 3 years; it was over $17,000 living there. In my opinion it is such a waste, because I was helping someone else when I could have been helping myself. Now, my dilemma is where would I want to live more than 3 years if I do purchase a home. I love your video!
I've been looking to move out for about a year now just to browse, now I'm more serious about it and I'm 21! It's really inspiring to see someone around my age doing the same thing!!

Hi beautiful, congrats on your new home! If you ever delete anything accidentally again, shake your iPhone and a prompt should pop up “Undo Typing” and simply select “Undo”.
If you don’t mind me around. About how much in savings did you have to have. Not an estimate amount if you don’t feel comfortable but a ball park would be helpful
@@linwilliams2013 how much you need will depend on your income, debt, and cost of the house you’re buying. With that being said we actually had better days with our savings than when we decided to buy (just had a baby a 8 months prior and took some time off) we had about $12,000 probably. We only put down $3K on the house for earnest money to close. Don’t believe the “you need 20% for the down payment” that’s not true. Your mortgage officer will tell you if they want you to have a certain amount down but mostly that 20% thing is coming from people who want to be smart but it’s not a requirement. We were spending way too much renting and buying saved us a ton that would of took forever to get to 20% paying and we now we can throw more money into the mortgage as well to pay off sooner.
I wanna do this bc like you said renting is more expensive. What’s holding me back is not knowing if I could pay unforeseen house repairs. My savings is not a lot👀
Naturally Ray 😩😭 I was at a 500 credit score, but I’ve plateaued at 615. That took one year. I’m stuck right now. I just started paying things on time, or paying things off at the end of the month. I don’t know what else to do. I keep getting denied when I try and get credit cards 💳
Wow! I’ve never been the 1 to do this, give advice on someone else’s channel, but I have my own credit repair business & I can give you basic advice without charging you a dime on how to get un-stuck! Just let me know!
this video was so incredibly helpful, thank you so much!! how much did you decide to put down as a down payment, how much were closing costs and when you bought your house did you still have savings/emergency savings or did you put it all into your house? Loving your series, girl!!
I’m so glad you kept an open mind and considered buying your first home! Your house is soooo beautiful and SUCH an AMAZING investment! I’m so so soooo proud of you!
You go girl! I closed on land a few months ago. (I live in the Caribbean) I can not wait to start building. It’s amazing you bought it off of your YT! I started this UA-cam journey myself. ❤️ you’re goals!
YO OMG I FEEL THE SAME !!! That’s why I’ve been looking at a 2 bedroom apartment as well because I want a makeup room SO BAD !!! Lol . And I’ve thought numerous of times about a house .. but then again I don’t know if i will stay in that specific location for a long period of time .
The reason they asked for documentation for your deposits is to ensure that there isn’t a loan that needs to be repaid that isn’t showing on your credit, the same with any large withdrawals, to make sure there isn’t a debt out there that their not aware of, the diploma and transcripts were likely for employment history if you haven’t worked a full two years
So I was looking at something similar and came across the video I needed to hear I’m 24 and that’s wild I’m bout to start tryna get my own house ASAP thanks for the videos they are really helpful
Hi Lexis Shantell. Good to see your video as always. I love your new couch so beautiful and it looks good in that space. Love your hair too really cute. Love the shirt also. Thanks for sharing your house buying experience. Again Congratulations. God bless you. ♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹
What a wonderful accomplishment! I'm truly proud of your achievements. I know greater things are coming and remember do n ot allow anyone to move in unless it's your mother. Do not live with romantic partners, they can move in after the Wedding, never before. Love your tips!
Congrats!!! Buying at 22, what an accomplishment! Hope you are super proud of yourself, I bought my condo at 27 and what a scary yet joyful process it was.
My closing date for my first home which is a townhouse is Dec 28 I’m so excited and nervous at the same time. I felt the same way you did I just new this was going to be my house I was tired of renting!!!
Congratulations!!! ...The good news Is when you buy one house it's easy to buy another...😇 ..I never understood why so many documents at closing...and when you sell I swear it's like five pages 😅

ChelseaVictoria I should have clarified : I paid 1% to the builder just to put it under contract and “hold it “ but total put 3.5% down since I’m a first time buyer (the more you can put down the better though to have lower monthly payments )! I’m expecting my next house will prob end up having to be in the 20% down range
Lexis Shantell hi good video hun I love your living room set were u ever concerned about the repair responsibility? I think about that, like it if my homeowners insurance didn’t cover certain things I’d b responsible for out of pocket
Annchristine thanks for the feedback! I refrained as I was told to be a bit cautious with sharing some of those personal financial numbers with the internet so that’s why I didn’t but definitely understand that it could’ve been helpful!
Letting us know deposit / sale price would help tremendously, as well as the amounts for the fees that anyone buying a house would have to pay: It would allow us to know what type of expenses to look forward to! thanks for the video love 💕
UA-cam has a lot of helpful videos on the home buying process. Everyone process and amounts are going to be different because of different incomes and locations.
MsToya thanks, but it would still help, therefore if she truly wants to help, she can tell us her income and credit score as well, telling either or would not hurt her in any way, seeing that it’s not a social security number, home address, or bank account & routing number lol.
MsToya and I do get that there may be differences but that’s like telling me not to do my APR work when learning because those APRS don’t apply to my life, ya know? it would definitely give you an idea of what to look forward to.
Taylor Not to mention, people should respect that her income/credit score is her personal business just on a basic level. Whether she chooses to disclose it on social media or not should not determine if she’s “truly” trying to be helpful. So nosy🤦🏾♀️
That's awesome teach these young people! So proud of you don't know how I got to your video but I was just scrolling. I bought my first house so long ago when I was 21 just like you said I wasn't looking to buy a house cuz I didn't think that I could but I did. Honestly I only did it because my brother did, then I did my cousin followed! Blessings just kept flowing through our family from then on. Awesome experience! Keep up the good work!
Where do I find a queen like this ✊🏾😩 I inherited a duplex from my grandmother, so I’m a home owner at 23. I collect rent from my cousins and another tenant(he’s a older white guy, very quiet).
This is so excellent! When I was 22, I had ZERO intentions on purchasing a home, or really owning anything worthwhile. I probably made every bad financial decision except for getting a payday loan. In fact, the only reason I didn’t get a payday loan was because I was in the military, and it had just become illegal for those lenders to do business with us! But for real, I am happy to see young folks making better financial decisions these days, and it is awesome that you are sharing the essential information. Oh yeah, I’ll be buying my first home no later than a year from now, at 34 years old.
Of course!!! You’re impaired me to go forth on my UA-cam as I am just starting to post and pursue my channel againnn I loveee ittt and love your positive energy
This is great, I don't know you personally but I'm super proud of you, job well done and you're off to a fantastic start. One piece of unsolicited advice... Aggressively pay off all your debt including your mortgage. You will be liberated beyond your dreams. Just imagine the joy of having the amount of money you pay in mortgage sitting in your bank each month?
@@fancyflower3298 well we are not talking about million dollar homes... smh. I am talking about your typical 2 family home, or even single family. Everything 300k-600k is in the hood and /or a mix between ok area but mixed with the hood if you drive past far enough. Or it's a fixer upper that will end up costing you an additional 15k to fix from inside out.
caramelized sugar 1.2 mil just as an example. A bit inflated but obviously not every home in NY is priced at 1.2 mil. Side not though some homes in areas considered Brooklyn hoods are being priced that high(gentrification). But in general NY is expensive it’s a regurgitated fact.
Congrats. You're on your way to building wealth. "According to the 2019 Survey of Consumer Finances, a triennial survey that collects detailed accounts of households’ finances, the median homeowner has 40 times the household wealth of a renter - $254,900 for the former compared to $6,270 for the latter. "
Me and my boyfriend are looking to move out beginning of next year!
Congrats! You're off to a great start.
Thank you 🥰
brains and beauty
Thank you so much 😊
This is so excellent!
Congrats !!!❤️ and thank you 🥰

I'm 22 and buying a home is my dream..
You can do it. Just make your plan and then work your plan.
Hi Soror! You have a new subscriber! I have really started thinking about buying a home.
Congratulations! This is so inspiring.
Thank you
This is great, I don't know you personally but I'm super proud of you, job well done and you're off to a fantastic start. One piece of unsolicited advice... Aggressively pay off all your debt including your mortgage. You will be liberated beyond your dreams. Just imagine the joy of having the amount of money you pay in mortgage sitting in your bank each month?
whew! can't do this in nyc! i cant wait to leave
My struggle #impossibleforme
True NY real estate is mind numbingly expensive. I don’t even know how people are buying those 1.2 mil places.
@@FemiaLove not just you the average new yorker with 1 income.
We were looking into apartments but they are soo expensive and it really ends up being a waste of money so we are looking into townhouse to buy and this video gave me positive vibes into it really being something we can do! We are 22 as well, I love your home so gorgeous 😍
Justina Chaparro yes go for it !! Thank you so much 🥰
Don't purchase a home unless you are married!! (if you are, research what happens to the home (an asset) when you decide to split )
Listen to Graham Stephan or Dave Ramsey (The Seven baby steps)
Congrats!!!
Thank you!!
Did not know you were a Soror 💙 Congratulations on your home. I’m hoping to buy by 25 and this video was helpful.
