An Aussie journalist was once asked, “Why does the Aussie cricket team win so many world cups and Indian team lose so much?” He replied, “In India when the son returns home from playing cricket with friends his parents ask him ‘How many runs did YOU score?’ In Australia the parents ask the son, ‘Did your team win?’” And that is the greatest difference.

I don’t like Gambhir for his aggressiveness and negativity towards Virat Kohli but what he said is absolutely true… The team which won in 2011 played like a cohesive team with no care for individual recognition and Gambhir was one of them who wasn’t chasing Century but played innings of his career…
Exactly. They also had fighters who played with their heart like Yuvraj. Not to mention Dhoni's leadership was able to help the new players thrive while gaining the trust and respect of the older ones and ofc, he stepped up heavily in the finals.
No disrespect to anyone but... Dude in this team aside from shami and Kohli no one can be compared to the class of 2011 and that's a fact Remove those two from all India's major tournaments and we'll see the flaws in the Indian team..
But more than this the biggest reason why India won 2011 wc is over 15 players from Australian cricket team had retired in a span of just 3-4 yrs. Otherwise the story would have been different.....

India is known to choke in finals of major tournaments ever since 2014/15, while Australia on the other hand has historically been super clutch in pressure situations. WC 2023 was basically another example of the same thing, with India playing worse than normal AND Australia stepping up their game for the match.
dude virat is also responsible for the choking. He played way too slow for the situation. 80 runs in 10 overs then see what happened. It is a team game and no one can escape responsibility.@@snapop200

I suspect the dead silence from the crowd when India lost a wicket (in contrast to the huge roar whenever India hit a boundary) had a lot to do with it. In most countries there is polite applause for good performances by the opposition. The crowd being so silent would have put a lot of pressure on the Indian players and made the Australian players even more determined to do well.
@kolamol8991-cy3ng_I don't need to. Coz, he didn't imply they won the match coz the crowd went silent. They played better on the day. As simple as that._ Pat Cummins said they (he and his team mates) found the silence of the crowd "satisfying". (See article in Times of India dated 2023-11-20 14:27 IST). You seem to be implying that you understand crowd psychology (particularly Indian crowd psychology) better that I do. That may be true, but to simply dismiss it out-of-hand as a significant factor in what happened that day, I would argue, is unwarranted. You seem to have such strong feelings on the matter, I can't help speculating that maybe you were in the crowd that day and you don't want to accept any of the blame for what happened.
@kolamol8991-cy3ng Hmmm, I notice you didn't clarify whether you were in the crowd that day or not. Are you claiming psychology isn't a significant factor is sport? Observing how nervous a batter, even a professional one, can be in the 90's compared to how they are when they pass the 100 mark would tend to suggest it is very significant. Yuvraj Singh has stated that he benefited significantly from the presence of a sports psychologist (Paddy Upton) in India's support team in the 2011 World Cup. (Yuvraj was player of the series). Australia did bring along a spots psychologist (Brent Membery) to the World Cup this time, but the Indian team chose to go without one. Maybe that made a difference? BTW this is how you go about putting together a coherent argument rather than simply hurling insults at anyone you disagree with. (I think you should probably get some help for your anger management issues).
Personally, I don't think that silent crowd might be or Should be any major factor for the peformance of India. Back in 2011, when India won the world cup, the crowd was complete dead silent during finals when sehwag got out in 1st over and again when sachin got out very early at 18 runs. still gambhir and Dhoni played great Innings of 97 and 91 runs respectively (arguably the most memorable innings for ICT fans) . It was only when Gambhir played brilliant and soaked all the pressure and Dhoni came along playing a great Innings which made crowd Genuinely Alive and Roaring again. And that's how India won 2011 CWC.
A. their overconfidence (B) terrible bowling decisions - bad captaincy (C) pitch issues - they dug their own grave- like literally! (D) their total failure at fighting with spirit
A is wrong, Overconfidence is good, India was under confident and had same old fear of failure, Travis head was edged twice and there was no slip fielder, the capitaincy was defensive rather than aggressive we were trying to save runs rather than getting em out, in these situation Kohli captaincy would have worked like charm. Also the slow doctorated pitch supposedly to give us advantage bite us in the ass, you can't leave decisions of these match on a toss
Giving individual records more importance than team result, mixing cricket with politics, nepotism in cricket administration. Indian cricket will stay in dump until all these are fixed.
PR campaigns are one of major reasons for our downfall. And being a Kohli fan myself..I clearly remember when 6 months back Ind were about to lose the WTC Final against Aus..YT cricket channels started showing VK's glorious stats and centuries and all. And I was like what does this post supposed to mean when we are minutes away from losing another WC Title ?
You said one of the reasons India lost was because they were undefeated and not challenged before the final. I disagree. Australia went undefeated between the third game of 1999 -2011 winning 34 games over 4 tournaments. Australia was undefeated winning 11 in a row in both 2003 and 2007. It not necessarily to be tested before a final if you are good enough. The reason Australia won are because they are a champion team and not a team of champions.
Used to follow the Indian team closely the last 2 years but something was so clear and obvious when you saw them play - the have in a team of individuals who play individual cricket and as a team trying to win collectively

No middle order, no wag in the tail, poor fielding, and choking under pressure.. The indian public put cricketers on such a pedestal under so much pressure that they're bound to fail towards the end of big tournaments.
After winning 2024 T20 WC, we are overjoyed, but in order to win the 50 over format i want the youngsters to play more responsibly, in that final Rohit did his job, Kohli did play a useful knock, but Shubham Gill was a disappointment, he did not play one memorable knock throughout the world cup despite heavy backing, and opened the door for Australia in finals with his quick wicket, he performed in a similar way in WTC final, he ensures India is one wicket down too soon in important matches and hence with better options like Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashaswi Jaiswal its better to keep that choker out of team for good, second mention is KL Rahul, he did perform well in one match vs Australia in group stage and won us that match, but you cannot forget his choking ability, he choked massively in Finals, 60 runs in 100 balls was really bad, SKY is not a player for ODI or Test, let him play T20 only, his 18(28) was the worst innings of his life when his job was to counter attack, and Jadeja is past his prime, let Axar take over now, Dhruv Jurel mark my words is going to be a great middle order wicket keeper batsman in ODI and test, Pant in T20
I do not live in India, so we would have to wake up every morning at 3:30 AM. Damn bro, what a tournament. We had at least 5 watch parties, one at Chinmaya Mission, with 100+ people for the final (search up chinmaya mission), we cheered and cheered, until we literally lost our voices, and experienced the 2 months of our lifetime. When India lost the cup, I was devestated. I mean literally, I cried myself to sleep, barely ate, and was quiet for the two days after our loss. Soon, I realized I shouldn't be sad, but proud of my beautiful, amazing India. Mohammed Shami, for his 24 wickets, the highest of the tournament, Virat Kohli, or the most runs, ever, at any world cup, and his 50 centuries. Shubman Gill, (use to be) number 1 ODI ranked bastman, Mohommad Siraj (used to be) number 1 ranked bastmen. Ravindra Jadeja, out star, the best fielder in the world. Every single player played such a crucial role. So, instead of being sad, let us be proud of our country. Love from the US.
For me it is because of 2 reasons 1. because of overconfidence, it was an upset win when australia beat south africa and india were excpecting a tougher opponent 2. because of the fans throughout the past decade india has had high excpectations from the fans which were not achieved and led to even more pressure to win the odi world cup on home soil. Also during india's other group stage matches, there were not many fans but in the final the stands were packed with indian fans, not aussie fans. So australia had no one watching them while indian players had people watching on tv from india and around the world. And very last reason players were playing in fear they were worried they were going to lose a place in the team if they lost this final so they played slowly. Just look at the scores 4 for shubman gill, 4 for shreyas iyer, 9 for jadeja and 18 for SKY these are not the usual scores, so there was more indivisualism in the final than teamwork, however aussies had teamwork leading to a win
India came out of the gates hard, winning 10 games in a row. By the time they got to the final, they had already peaked.Australia didn't come out as hard, even losing there first 2 games but building towards the final. The Aussies managed their campaign better than India who was out-thought and out-played.
India, with all the money in cricket, who run ICC and all the foreign players worship India because of IPL and their salaries. Yet their performance in ICC knockouts is so underachieving considering their level of power and dominance.
I suppose this is what happens when you monopolize the market and commercialise the sport so much that karma eventually comes to bite you in the ass when it matters most!
Till 2019 Team india lost due to some poor cricket + bad luck 1. Like in 2016 t20 wc we lost because of lendal simmons and he got out twice in his inning but both are no ball and fact is that there were only 2 no ball and which both give wkt In ct 17 also bumrah get wkt on noball In wc 19 semifinals we played on another day in different conditions 2. While in 2014 t20 wc and 2015 wc we played poor cricket with bat and bowling But After 2019 we have pressure of winning icc trophy due to huge expectation of fans. Captain have pressure of losing captainship. Player have pressure of losing their spots So After that we lost 2021t20wc 2022 t20 wc and 2023 odi wc by playing in huge pressure In these all wc, we see when 2-3 wkt gone we play very defensive and that's we set below par score in knockout match Player like kl rahul play in fear so that's big advantage for other team Two WTC final lost due to lack of preparation
Remove first KL Rahul from all teams then team can have some hope of winning something when there are defensive players team is not going to win real championships

Who all are watching this after India has won 2024 T20 WC🎉🎉🎉, really a super team, we dismantled Australia and England and pulled victory out of jaws of defeat in the Final vs South Africa 🎉🎉
I think while it's not the only factor, one of the major reasons for India losing the 2023 final the way they did is crowd psychology. Absolutely everyone went silent at the slightest hint of pressure from the Aussies, and this defeatist mentality was clearly detrimental to the team's performance. Ahmedabad has 0 cricket culture. A great example of how the crowd can actually improve a team's performance imo was the SA vs Australia Semi-Final. Even when everybody thought the match was all but over, the crowd still kept riling on the SAFFAS and every ball during the chase was met with huge anticipation. Can you imagine them taking it this deep if the crowd just stayed silent?
that makes no sense considering that most of the fans in the stadium weren't even from Ahmedabad. Most of the people flew in with majority being from out of state.
well I have seen all previous matches in Mumbai, kolkata, crowd going silent is not new phenomenon in India. Absolutely BS logic here. and most crowds were from all over India.
No matter what, India will always be giants in International Cricket. Whenever we play S.A, N.Z, England etc, it's huge, but when we play India there's always something a little special involved. I remember always having the feeling on inevitably whenever Tendulkar stepped to the crease.....great, another 100 lol. Thank God we had Tim McGrath
The problem is not playing as a team. Also when we compare 2011 and this team is very different. What I learn about 2021 and 2023 world cup where Australia won. Because of believe in themselve, even if they are not that great. Look at this India they have every quality play! But what happened? The answer is they did not played as it was their last chance. Also they were stronger opponent than any other. And 2011 team India was not great as 2023 India squad still won the cup because of they believe their team gonna win even if their not the best.❤
Everyone chipped in during the 2011 world cup Sehwag gave attacking starts Sachin played like an anchor more times than not Yuvraj would bowl well and play some crazy crucial innings during crunch phases Gambhir stepped up when it mattered the most I'm quarter finals and ofc the finals where he took the team to an almost winning position Raina played crucial cameos in the quarter and semi finals Zaheer would bowl excellent spell with the new ball Harbajan would bowl good overs in the middle Finally they were led by an astute captain who played one of the best innings of his career when it mattered the most taking the team to the world cup in the finals
@@MithuN-h7mIndia will hardly win any matches in the future for at least another 5 years. Maybe they will win some however they need to admit they are a average team and find it difficult in winning big tournaments
It is so sad that the world will talk about these indian chokers but will never gonna embrace the AUSTRALIAN crowd silencing victory and there campaign Respect to patt cummins and australia ✌️
I do. I remember Pointing saying the same thing when Aus won 2015 against NZ. It was a one-sided match, cause Ausi made that match oneside. This world cup proves that again. All hail mighty Australia.
Australia secured victory in the game even before their turn to bat began. You might wonder how this came to be. It was their exceptional bowling that set the stage, displaying remarkable skill. However, it was their fielding prowess that truly shone, surpassing even their impressive bowling. It wasn't the effort of a single player but the cohesive teamwork that elevated their fielding to a level of excellence. With such determination and unity on the field, the men in yellow proudly claimed their 6th World Cup trophy, leaving the crowd in awe-struck silence. These Australians are unquestionably true champions.
The pitch undoubtedly was the biggest factor in Aussie's win i think. Whoever in the Indian cricket side requested for such a tough to bat, grass-less pitch turned the final into a near gamble and Pat Cummins had the guts to go with his reading of the pitch and called bowling against seemingly all the commentators' prediction. His decision paid off in the first Innings itself when they restricted India under 250 and again in the 2nd Innings when Australian batsmen benefitted from the night dew. Not saying India never had a chance though. Had Rohit had the good sense to cut down the risks to build a partnership or even either him or Kohli batted through 40-45 overs i daresay they would've made a defendable target. Instead Rohit(and pretty much the entire Indian team) got undone by their poor reading of the pitch. Aussies absolutely deserved the win here. However i'll still pick India as the best team of the tournament. They just got beaten by the tactics and experience of their champion opponents. in another words , i think India has been the strongest team in the last month and a half and I'd pick them to win the majority if Aus and Ind were to play a series of 10 matches. All that Indian batsmen needed was a regular Batting Paradise of a flat pitch that you often see in the subcontinent and they woul'dve flattened any team in the finals. Ironically in the end they shot themselves on the foot when they decided to go against the tried and tested method.
lol rohit sharma had done his job correctly cuz he played a huge role in the previous wins to play fearlessly and in the finals also he was doing the same thing and idiot what about the other batsman including kholi who had not done their job correctly so stop defenfing kholi

India's masterplan of manipulating pitch backfired 😂 As everyone was talking about winning toss and batting first in final, Indian management decided to make a pitch difficult to bat first. Their Plan was that either Rohit will win toss and decide to field(he was BS'ing when he said he wanted to bat first) or Aus will bat first as per common judgement - win/win for India in both case. But Aus won toss and decided to field. Indian think tank did not see that coming.😂😂

As and Australian Cricket fan i am really surprised india has not been able to win a world cup since 2011. Australia does not adore cricket the same way India does. Having a population of 1.4 Billion people who adore cricket more that anything else compared to Australia who does not have a huge population that loves cricket as their number 1 sport plus having a mere population of 25 Million. It really confuses me how a team with the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and many more great batting and bowling talents cannot win the World Cup on home soil with 95 % of the crowd in matches probably being Indian. I get that Australia has great players too such as David Warner, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc and many more but they are not of the same quality of Indian players. Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi.
Australia has one thing many other nations don't - an all-round sports culture. More or less every Aussie has the ability to pursue sports as a worthwhile hobby or profession and has much support for it. Facilities are great when you have more room than a gully in an urban hellhole. The Indian talent pool is huge but only 0.01% of it is ever even given the opportunity to play cricket on a professional level. Children there are taught to focus solely on academics and nothing else, facilities are garbage, and most of the cricket played in India is just table tennis cricket in an extremely narrow area. There's probably somebody out there that would have been a better batsman than Kohli, somebody who can bowl better than Shami and Bumrah, and somebody that could be a better WK than Dhoni ever was. The first guy is probably working at some sweat shop, the second is an engineer, and the third guy does ganja.
@@rorkeslayer3925this. The ultimate truth. Everyone around you in India always brings you down when you want to pursue anything other than academics. I remember wanting to become a professional badminton player. My parents actually supported me, which is rare in India. But I couldn't, why? My overly conservative grandparents from both ends and some nasty relatives that I had not even seen before in my life. They poisoned my parents and I was forced to take commerce and wasn't able to pursue my dream. Though I have a good relation with my parents, I have cut off all those who forced my life into a direction I never wanted to go in.
That's pressure of 1.4 billion is on indian player Mostly indian player were unable to perform in pressure While aus is not in pressure so they can play normal game Even we beat aus in all series in 2023 and in group stage of wc but only match that has pressure is wc final so they won
You're wrong about the talent, Australia's Talent matches up against India man for man. If you're talking about current form, sure some of Australia's best are out of form, Smith and Marnus have been patchy lately, but you know they can pull out a big innings at any moment. Same with Kohli when he was not in form, people were wondering if he was going to retire, then he came back to form.
Real reason is having no real middle order. Yuvraj Singh had dismantled Australia in 2002 champions trophy quarter final , 2007 t20 odi semifinal, 2011 world cup quarter final. He was a fearless batter who could bowl decently. No matter how many star studded batsman you put at the top, it will not work all the time. And the biggest factor on the day was pitch, they should have at least done just a day match and not day-night for the finals. And we Indians love cheap light shows and drone shows so it had to be at night probably
@@parulgarg4502Everyone thinks about themselves now. Their passion is not as close as Sachin, Rahul, Yuvraj, Dhoni, and many old players who were part of India that was always facing difficulties that new generation will not face as they are playing modern cricket and the power now completely lies with BCCI, not ICC. Though there still some people who actually care to play for the love of nation not fans, and no neither Kolhi or Rohit is part of that mentality. I am not saying their passion for cricket is less but they just don't have faced the dufficult times that promotes the hunger for win that is not for themselves. KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer cannot bat against quality bowling attacks on Tough pitches. Only Rohit and Kohli can do that, Rohit throwing away his wicket was the reason why India lost, he should have known that rest of the batsman are not capable enough to bat at this track
All hyped up players failed to perform in a very crucial match. Plus the overconfidence after winning all the games that lead till the final game of World Cup 2023.
I know why india lost The real reason was aggressive and carelessness in batting ...They were batting like if it was a T20 match No proper plan B from India Ashwin would have been better option for aussies See There was no plan B from India From aussie Team they have Plan B always
what do you mean aggressive, noone other than rohit sharma who was assigned the role to play that way had a t20 strike rate.Others played too cautiously.
Even though it was barely mentioned, this is the first piece of content I've seen that actually mentions 'Australia' as a reason for India finishing 2nd. Australia had one of those nights where absolutely everything clicked and when any team clicks like that they are hard to beat.
Shami's 7-57 isnt the best bowling figures at a world cup. Tim Southee got 7-33 against England in the 2015 world cup. I'm not sure if theres been better but those are better figure's than Shami's.
One needs to look at the game situation as well. I'd rate Nehra's 6-23 against England as better than McGrath 7-15 against a hapless Namibia. Shami's figures came in the semi final of a wc on a Mumbai road when NZ were kind of looking to snatch the game away. Pretty sure Southee bowled on a juicy cow grazing NZ pitch in a league game with not much win or die consequences for his 7-33 As per my own logic, I'd rate Shane Warne's 4-35 something in 1999 semi against SA as joint equal with Shami. It's not about the number of wickets or runs given but the amount of stakes and the opposition plus the nature of the game (knockout game as compared to some random league match)
First i would like to Cope, Edan Garden or Wankhede was much better option than Namo Stadium, my innerself believes on the luck factor on these 2 stadiums! Same i saw for one match when Lanka was against us in their home ground, but crowd was celebrating every shot team played, they were motivating them a lot! Crowd Mentality matters too! I don't remember which matches are these, they lost or won, but the crowd support was so positive , it's almost unbelievable and hard to forget!
I think you should do the New Zealand cricket team as they are a good team, but has never been able to win a odi World Cup, even with being in the finals twice out of the last 3 world cups.
Great video and interesting. India won the perfect 10 matches of the entire 2023 wc. The game that mattered , went wrong and us Aussie team hushed over 100,000 at the silence of that crowd and Australia again wins another WC , 6 wc trophy's
Unpopular opinion but there were two major reasons for the defeat 1. The total shut-down by our batsmen (especially KL Rahul) and not attacking even once between 10-40 overs as only 1 boundary was scored in total 30 overs which gave Aussies a mental edge on keep on attacking. 2. The Aussies were lucky, Travis head was beaten many times and the bowl as so close to stumps and his wicket could have made Australia in a spot of bother at 50/4 and but it didn't happen and eventually they won the match. - And yes as you said in your video Australia read the pitch very well and their never say die attitude made them world champions

@@gampa_10_31 Under 100 LoL I also watched the whole match buddy there wasn't any deliveries where our Indian batsmen were outplayed yes they were not getting any timing but under 100 no way, there wasn't any close call where the ball was enough close to bat for Indian batsmen to get out. The first 5 overs of Bumrah he was breathing fire and the ball was really just cm close to stump or to get him bowled/caught and the LBW by Jadeja overturned, the untimely wicket of Virat, the amazing catch by Head of Rohit which on many occasions would be a drop catch, and in my opinion in cricket luck also is a big factor and on a lighter note whoever wins seems to be lucky than the loser.

8 an over India scored 80 runs in 10 overs. It was a strategical brilliance by pat Cummins but it was a fluke by them on that day. 😂😂😂😂😂😂India was the most dominant side post 2010 whether it's test, odi & T20. Just need to grab some ICC trophies down under.
This has to do with a middle order. It doesn't matter how many flat pitch bullies you can throw in the top 3 There is a reason EVERY world cup winning captain other than Ponting has batted in the middle order 1 - Clive Llyod - bats at 4 2 - Kapil Dev - bats at 6 3 - Allan Border - Bats at 5 4 - Imran Khan - Bats at 6 (except the finals) 5 - Ranatunga - bats at 5 6 - Steve Waugh - bats at 5 7 - Ponting - Top order - exception 8 - Dhoni - Bats at 5 9 - Clarke - Bats at 5 10 - Morgan - Bats at 4 11 - Cummins - bats at 7/8 In PRESSURE games you need a strong middle order . By 2011 Dhoni/Yuvi/Raina had a combined total of 20+ years of middle order experience ( Yuvi - 10 , Dhoni - 7 , Raina - 4) and that too exclusive middle order experience. Since 2013 all we have done is focused on the top 3 - Rohit , Dhawan, Kohli, KL , Gill We don't celebrate heros at #4,#5,#6 - Yuvi , Dhoni were national icons - where are the superstars now who consistently play every game My suggestion for 2027 would be to settle on a 4/5/6 and stick with them for 4 years no matter what 2027 should ideally look something like this 1. Jaiswal - all out attack at the top 2. Gill - the anchor 3. Ruturaj - all out attack 4. Pant - he should become our middle order rock - he is already a celebrated icon in tests 5 Hardik - He should step up to this slot as the captain 6 Rinku - he is our middle order hero and let him play for 4 years across T20/ODI - he will learn6 ow to finish games at all stages. 7 - Washington - Spinner 1 and solid lower middle order bat 8 - Axar = Spinner 2 and solid lower middle order bat 9/10/Jack - 3 pacers - Bumrah/Siraj/Umran etc This way you bat all the way through #8 and can attack from over 1 - You need just one anchor and that should be GIll
Australia won the test championship and the World Cup. Beating India in both. So one has to ask, we’re not the favourites but just being hyped to the favourites. Also imagine the Australian team if they had 1.5 billion people to chose from, would be a team of Bradmans and warnes also cricket isn’t even the 3rd most popular sport in Australia
On the day of last match in world cup, the winning team has to have one or two hero's, that rise to occasion. That means that you cannot take a chance on even a single consistently failing player in the squad of your 11. That is where one name comes in : Surya Kumar Yadav. He was a total failure in the 2023 world cup and possibly took the oxygen out of Indian team, him failing even in the last match. A logical question is, that if Travis Head can make a century, why Surya Yadav cannot. He had nothing to show for in entire world cup, and in toughest Indian match also, he fell apart. Rahul Dravid knew of this wise saying: Even a single fish would contaminate the whole water hole. All Surya Yadav ODI data was screaming: Surya Yadav is an ODI and test match disaster. He is only a T 20 wonder. Still, due to Rohit Sharma’s stubbornness, we were forced with Surya Yadav, and we could not even create first inning fighting total. Yes, in world cup knock off matches , You cannot make even microscopic errors. Okay, Subman Gill, Shesh Ayyar, Virat Kohli succumbed to law of averages in the final match. Actually, it was unfortunate that Subman Gill, after Dengue, never returned to his awesome form in IPL. Still his performance was good. It was Surya Yadav, who was an abject failure in entire world cup and that took away, even a fighting chance for India in the world cup. Such horrifying error shall never be repeated. For future: Preparation for next world cup should begin today. Rahul Dravid has to go. M S Dhoni should be the next coach. Yashshvi Jaiswal has to be in batting line up. Surya Kumar Yadav should only be taken in T 20 matches. Hardik Pandya should be next T 20 and one day captain. Obviously four years is a long time. There will be other changes. Hopefully Rishabh Pant will be back by then. It should never be assumed that T 20 to one day transition is easy. Only very highly talented players are able to make such transition. This dumb assumption should be tossed away.
India big players are over hyped can't perform when it matter the most. They can't handle pressure.Their losses are one sided in knockouts. Its bitter truth. These old player don't have the guts, new players should be given chance may be they possess luck, talent and could perform under pressure situation better. Little expectations from the team will reduce pressure and newbie will have more motivation to perform at big stages.
I m not India's Fan but there are some reasons they lost this Wc Final . 1. Prepared Slow pitch and thought they would win toss but it backfired completely. This is a small story of mine , when i went to Csk match , they lost Gaikwad too early . But crowd didn't get hush they cheered after every shot , wicket , didn't let the stadium go silent. This brought positive energy for them ,appreciated them . I think only guy who has tough mentality in India is Ms Dhoni and Csk staff . Now read 2nd point . 2. They were too overconfident after winning all group stage matches but in Finals the politics made it worse ,as Ahemdabad was just at a stadium only hosted for Politics , and too much crowd put pressure on their own players, they got silenced after every wicket , which brought negative energy for team . They could have kept it at wankhede as They have won last wc their, it would have given players energy and memories of 2011 . 3. They Used Pitch advantage in every match, played on flat decks with Afg , Pak , Ned , Ban , Sl and played on Spin track with aus and On slower track with England , Sa and Only pitch that i think they made risky was of Semi Final but Shami completely destroyed Nz on that . 4. Biggest wicket i think was Of Shreyas Iyer which no one talks about, even before Finals gambhir told India's key to Wc Final is Iyer . If Iyer had not failed that day , After Rohit wicket , as usual iyer would have taken time to settle with Kohli rotating strike, later Iyer would have smashed spinners which Kohli and Rahul failed to do . That no boundary scoring costed Kohli his own wicket. 4 . Selection has always been controversial for India in icc tournaments. Like of Dhawan , Samson , axar exclusion . Dhawan was sidelined as he was out of form for a single series where no other indian batter scored something. They took Gill with them even when he suffered Dengue , they could have gone with Dhawan the veteran of icc events. Surya Selection was totally shocking . The guy who averaged 24 in ODIs was taken over a guy who was proper Keeper and had average of 55 . Axar was sidelined for Ashwin who doesn't even show up in white ball cricket. Somehow he gets into wc squad . 5 . As Like selection i talked injuries always haunt them at wrong times like of Hardik in 23 wc same as Dhawan injury in 2019 . He was the Guy who had best Knockouts records as well as had experience of getting in situations like this and was the 6th bowling option and a proper Hitter . 6. Mentality is biggest Issue , whenever it comes to knockouts Indian batters especially crumble. If Kl and Kohli would have played like Iyer used to do in middle overs, it would have been a completely different story . 6 . Indian Fans , you guys need to respect Every player not an individual obsessed fan . You should respect Ms Dhoni , you hated him when other captains , keepers were not even close to him . Sane goes for all team. You only like Kohli or Rohit . You guys dont appreciate Shami , Bumrah , Iyer who were the hidden architects of your wc campaign.
We lost at Rohit's wicket as simple as that, if he would have played a few more balls, it was done and dusted for Australia. I still could not believe till now how travis head grabbed that blinder of rohit sharma.
when there is BKL there is always hope for Austrailian team team only had Virat,Rohit others were paper tigers in bowling same Shami, bumrah other 7 players were basically useless and Biggest useless guy is BKL after his selfish 50 runs he could have accelerated the innings but no still tuk tuk what to say. I am sure Austrailia would have chased even 300 it was the target
To be honest, the pitch was getting unplayable in the middle part. Kholi and Rahul struggled a lot. Rohit got some runs while the pitch was a little playable
You really had to rethink or reconsider your team composition when you consider your loss just when your opener departed. So it was just 1 opener vs a whole team Australia. And if that's the actual scenario, then India never deserved to win the WC. A Champion team never over relies on 1 player.
People will be hurt but yes we worship Virat, Rohit more than how much we have to do, its visible that Rohit started being selfless trying for boundaries when he is on 46 or in his 90's, Virat slowing down once reaching 80's and affecting the team totals, our top order fails under pressure, we know to boo Hardik Pandya who rarely fails under pressure but we worship others, we don't give enough credits to Bowlers like Bumrah, Shami, Bhuvi, Zaheer Khan, Ashwin, Jadeja....we get into fan wars, we never supported Indian Team we just supported some Sharma, Kohli,Dhoni who aren't bigger than the game itself... We need to support our team as it is, the biggest flaw is we only be happy when our idol scores a century but not even appreciate when in the same match the other person scores a century...how many of you appreciated Daryl Mitchell Centuries against India ? Travis Head century ? Or Williamsons innings ? Did you at least appreciate KL Rahul's innings in the final , he was running out of partners and still tried to stay in the game....Pat Cummins the man who is such a humble person gave his best in the final and didn't cheat but we blame and threaten him because he won for his team
Individual glory needs to be set aside if Ind needs to be World cup winners ,Player like Pandya will play in this IPL for sure but when playing for country injuries comes into picture
I strongly believe the finishing Instinct is constantly missing across generations of cricketers playing for India.. Back in the days, we had guys who really had fear of disappointing the nation. Nowadays the players take it too casually .. it's such a sad thing we have not been able to win WC in our backyard!
Kohli jaise Legend ki Photo lagana galat h Thumbnail me Unhone humesha indian cricket ko apna 100% diya h ❤❤❤❤ hum Bade match me Choke baaki players ki wajah se karte h 2014 se 2023 tak Chahe koi bhi match ho
Its embarassing how as a captain and indias most experienced batsman(along with kohli), rohits strategy was to leave the innings to the youngsters, how dravid as a coach allowed that is embarrasing
Honestly a massive flaw for me personally is SK Yadav. After a batting collapse, we expected a 2011 vs Pakistan Raina like innings from him. Suresh Raina made the best out of a horrible pitch, trusting the tail to play a few, while not throwing his wicket away, playing as calculatively as possible. SKY on the other hand neither could click himself nor could trust his tail to score a few vital runs. That made everything go downhill once Australia got set after early collapse.
I had an Indian fella say to me that Australia has an unfair advantage because they bowl a white ball whilst wearing yellow shirts. 😂😂😂 The ball is released above the shoulder backed by a black sight screen.
@@justanormieweeb Yeah I'm an Aussie but that doesn't change how ridiculous the claim is that yellow shirts give Australia an advantage. It's a disadvantage because it clashes with all the gold cups we are winning all of the time.
Its simple. This wc indias had kohli and rohit in top form batting wise. So gill and kishan played without pressure and did well. Gill and kishan fell under pressure in finals. Had virat and rohit flopped in 2 matches in group stages which normal for players those two would learn to handle pressure. Rohit and kohli were too good and ironically thats the reason other two ere not prepared .
One documentary on how the inventor of game could not win any of first 11 ODI WC😊and the greatest performance in 2023 ODI WC, 😊and the only one won by virat's favaourate Ben Stoke's golden hand 😅
"One of the greatest teams in the history of cricket"... Honestly, Indians are the only people in the world who actually believe this hogwash. Great teams win.
India has taken over the tag of chockers from South African team.. South African team has that tag of chockers because with so much of incredible talent like Kallis, 🆎, Klusner, Pollock, Amla, Steyn, Smith, Gibs, and many more they chocked in knock out games. Same is happening with Indian team with so much talent like virat. Rohit, Jadeja, shikar, Shami, Bumrah, and many more they just can't win knock out games.. Hence they are carrying the tag of chockers after Dhoni left the captaincy..
as said in the dhoni's biopic "a good fielder will always save crucial runs for the team" australians were giving their all in the game during fielding, they saved around 30-35 runs in the fielding itself i don't remember but one of the player was bleeding also, that's the attitude which was needed from india in the finals second was no 6th bowling option, rohit got cocky with suryakumar yadav when he should have started ashwin, who is literally the only player you will give all the powers when it comes to playing against the aussies, he played against them in the first group game at chennai also and took a wicket with an economy of under 4, ashwin also started in the 2011 wc game between australia and india at the same ahemdabad ground where he took 2 wickets and he has been the best player in border gavaskar trophy held in india in past 10-12 years india made 400 runs in the semis vs newzealand which is a mammoth target but if you really see the cracks in bowling were visible from that game itself, it was a 400 target which saved india else make it 350 and india would have lost the game
Theres only one reason India didnt win the world cup: India did not have a Super Team India did not have No.8 allrounder batsman like the Aussies had with Pat Cummins and India's No.6 batsman was virtually nonexistent as SKY played horrible this world cup; he is nothing but a T20i bully and the decision to take him up into the ODI playing XI was a disaster. So India basically had 2 batsman less than Aus in the Final and this explains why Kl Rahul and Virat Kohli played so slow/cautiously in the middle overs as they knew there was no quality batsman left to come to the crease if they went out.
In contrast, Australia can play with full confidence in the middle overs as their batting lineup stretches all the way up to the NO.8 position. Many of indias Batsman are far superior than Aus (like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma) but in the Final it's Quantity that matters not Quality
Exactly that is the point I wanted to make sky don't deserve to be In odi team but was put but on final he got exposed that fear lewd to slow batting had India had hardik & bowler who could bat they would have played aggressive..
Wouldn't say Cummins is any better of a batter than Shami tbh. But SKY was awful which basically meant Shami played at 7. I wish Yadav still had his earlier all round abilities.
I knew it from the start, rohit's selfless approach, players like gill and Iyer will fail in the final, unfortunately it turned out to be true on 19 th November , after India lost 3 wickets for 80 runs , the game was done because India only had Surya Kumar and jadeja as batsman but after rohit and iyer got out , kohli and rahul had to play to save wickets and ultimately cost us the trophy 😭😭😭😭
The immaturity that drove an attitude of overconfidence of many Indian fans regarding their team's prospects in WC2023 is again on display in post mortems regarding their team's defeat. It's competitive team sport at the highest level. A single game can be decided on the smallest of factors. So take it easy in castigating Indian players - they are real champions.
But you have to say they are most consistent team in the world. Doesn't matter which format they reach finals or semis atleast, like T20 World Cup, ODI or test match even Champions trophy. But not just cricket but most of the games India plays they play so well in group stages but during the semis or when they need to perform well they goes down, i don't know what, is it fear ? Nervousness? Pressure? Crowd? Literally don't understand.
Its just so strange to think that India has lost against every major cricketing team except South Africa. 2014- Lost against Sri Lanka (Eventual champions) 2015-Lost against Australia (Eventual champions) 2016-Lost against West Indies (Eventual champions) 2017-Lost against Pakistan (Eventual champions) 2019-Lost against New Zealand 2022-Lost against England (Eventual champions).
You can be the richest cricket control board, but Money can't buy the winning mindset. The Aussies are absolutely gems in handling knockouts pressure. Thts how they are conditioned.
We lost because we gave up too early and Australia wanted it more we had everything else better than them but mentality. Another thing to dissapointed me was only 10 teams in this tournament
Lol, In 14 years if any cricket team wins a world. Scientifically it will be a indian team. With the number of indian origin players playing for different countries
No doubt there is alot of talent in India but however when there is a constant rotation players it doesn't give much faith in their individual performances thus each player is forced to do well each & every match otherwise they'll get dropped To have a strong team you need a even stronger domestic game = Australia has this strong setup but India relies too heavily on the IPL
I'd like a video on the importance of the T20 world cup in removing india's chokers tag? Would be pretty interesting as there were a lot of changes they made, like the addition of 4 all-rounders (Jadeja, Pandya, Axar and Shivam) Plus the addition of a reliable number 8 (Axar Patel)
In that slow and dry pitch we needed our experienced batsmans to perform. Even before the match started it was clear that Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer and Sky would choke, which they did. We needed a captain's knock in that match and in that pitch, we needed a partnership between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli and eventually KL Rahul. If that happened maybe we might have had a better total
And in this year what looked more ugly to watch is player's trying to get their century by denying singles or not running even when there is opportunity to run. This shows players are milestone driven.. Thats why they lost.
Like many others, I have my reasons to share. In my humble opinion, the primary factor contributing to the difference is the pitch. This particular pitch is notably sluggish, unlike others in previous matches. If it resembled the pitches in the group matches, India would undoubtedly emerge victorious. One more thing, I don't know how but Aussies know how to win when it matters the most. Anyway best of luck India for upcoming tournaments.
You know why Aussies win all the time because Aussie team is made up of strong white men and Indian men just don't have that same mental and physical fortitude to compete against white men even though cricket is the most celebrated sport in India compared to Australia. But no one will ever say or admit that because it's hurts their egos. But that's the objective truth.
Australians play on faster bouncier pitches at home. A sluggish pitch does NOT favour Australia. The difference was attitude. India thought they were on a victory march and just had to turn up to win. Australia out thought and out played them.
Jadeja,Surya kumar Yadav and S Gill did not perform well in final ,In was heavily dependent on Rohit,Kohli,Iyer and KL Rahul ,these three disappointed a lot, Jadeja being an all Rounder hardly gave any comfort to India
Among all the defeats in ICC knockout games, the two big wins for the Indian team will be back to back test series wins in Australia. Winning a test series against Australia in Australia is a feat equivalent to winning a WC in my book. The last test series, where an injured young test team won the series at Gabba was nothing short of a fairy tale. Sadly, people forget about bilateral test series and actually don't care about it as much as WCs. And therefore the recent defeat in 2023 WC final comes in. You can do all the psycho analysis you want, but the truth is that the Indian team is just not good enough on the day that matters. I am not sure if would call the Indian team chokers. I would call them just not good enough because they comprehensively lose the knockout games. Choking is when you almost have it in hand and give it away. Indian team was just not good enough on the knockout days.
I saw 3 reasons behind this. 1. Until final, they haven't recieve any pressure behind there back. They were pressurized by unusual pressure brought by aussies. 2. Media overhyped india team and when pressure comes crowds reactions turns to negative energy and comes to ground 😅 3. Pat cummings started their mind games before starting their match. All the india fell into that 😂
An Aussie journalist was once asked, “Why does the Aussie cricket team win so many world cups and Indian team lose so much?” He replied, “In India when the son returns home from playing cricket with friends his parents ask him ‘How many runs did YOU score?’ In Australia the parents ask the son, ‘Did your team win?’” And that is the greatest difference.

Exactly. They also had fighters who played with their heart like Yuvraj. Not to mention Dhoni's leadership was able to help the new players thrive while gaining the trust and respect of the older ones and ofc, he stepped up heavily in the finals.

Yeah that must've been hard for the Indian players 🙌
@kolamol8991-cy3ng I was largely going by what Cummins said in his post-match interview. Take it up with him.
@kolamol8991-cy3ng_I don't need to. Coz, he didn't imply they won the match coz the crowd went silent. They played better on the day. As simple as that._
Pat Cummins said they (he and his team mates) found the silence of the crowd "satisfying".

Time to study the aussies and their strategies. How they play their game and how to clutch in knockouts. There is no shame in learning from the best.

hahah T20 WC
No middle order, no wag in the tail, poor fielding, and choking under pressure.. The indian public put cricketers on such a pedestal under so much pressure that they're bound to fail towards the end of big tournaments.
We have taken cricket way too seriously. Its just a game. If Indian would have won, mainstream media would tirelessly glorify it entire month.
After winning 2024 T20 WC, we are overjoyed, but in order to win the 50 over format i want the youngsters to play more responsibly,
in that final Rohit did his job, Kohli did play a useful knock, but Shubham Gill was a disappointment, he did not play one memorable knock throughout the world cup despite heavy backing, and opened the door for Australia in finals with his quick wicket, he performed in a similar way in WTC final, he ensures India is one wicket down too soon in important matches
and hence with better options like Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashaswi Jaiswal its better to keep that choker out of team for good, second mention is KL Rahul, he did perform well in one match vs Australia in group stage and won us that match, but you cannot forget his choking ability, he choked massively in Finals, 60 runs in 100 balls was really bad,
SKY is not a player for ODI or Test, let him play T20 only, his 18(28) was the worst innings of his life when his job was to counter attack, and Jadeja is past his prime, let Axar take over now,
Dhruv Jurel mark my words is going to be a great middle order wicket keeper batsman in ODI and test, Pant in T20
For me it is because of 2 reasons
1. because of overconfidence, it was an upset win when australia beat south africa and india were excpecting a tougher opponent
2. because of the fans throughout the past decade india has had high excpectations from the fans which were not achieved and led to even more pressure to win the odi world cup on home soil.
Ah you guys are just chokers
India came out of the gates hard, winning 10 games in a row. By the time they got to the final, they had already peaked.Australia didn't come out as hard, even losing there first 2 games but building towards the final. The Aussies managed their campaign better than India who was out-thought and out-played.
it was not an upset when aus won against sa, they actually played the better cricket and also didnt lose to a non test playing nation

India, with all the money in cricket, who run ICC and all the foreign players worship India because of IPL and their salaries. Yet their performance in ICC knockouts is so underachieving considering their level of power and dominance.
I suppose this is what happens when you monopolize the market and commercialise the sport so much that karma eventually comes to bite you in the ass when it matters most!
before 2010 australian board controlled icc and will the the money but still they won many world cups and champions trophy
Till 2019 Team india lost due to some poor cricket + bad luck
1. Like in 2016 t20 wc we lost because of lendal simmons and he got out twice in his inning but both are no ball and fact is that there were only 2 no ball and which both give wkt
In ct 17 also bumrah get wkt on noball
In wc 19 semifinals we played on another day in different conditions
2. While in 2014 t20 wc and 2015 wc we played poor cricket with bat and bowling
But After 2019 we have pressure of winning icc trophy due to huge expectation of fans. Captain have pressure of losing captainship. Player have pressure of losing their spots
So After that we lost 2021t20wc 2022 t20 wc and 2023 odi wc by playing in huge pressure
In these all wc, we see when 2-3 wkt gone we play very defensive and that's we set below par score in knockout match
Player like kl rahul play in fear so that's big advantage for other team
Two WTC final lost due to lack of preparation

I think, indian players should think of their performance rather than waiting for the fans approval
@rorkeslayer3925 Very good point....the crowd pressure had done this imo too while aussies enjoyed every bit of it....
that makes no sense considering that most of the fans in the stadium weren't even from Ahmedabad. Most of the people flew in with majority being from out of state.
well I have seen all previous matches in Mumbai, kolkata, crowd going silent is not new phenomenon in India. Absolutely BS logic here. and most crowds were from all over India.
@@panthbarola1256that just makes it even worse lmao now the Indian fans dont have much an excuse for the terrible crowd
No matter what, India will always be giants in International Cricket. Whenever we play S.A, N.Z, England etc, it's huge, but when we play India there's always something a little special involved.
I remember always having the feeling on inevitably whenever Tendulkar stepped to the crease.....great, another 100 lol.

Everyone chipped in during the 2011 world cup
Sehwag gave attacking starts
Sachin played like an anchor more times than not
Yuvraj would bowl well and play some crazy crucial innings during crunch phases
Gambhir stepped up when it mattered the most I'm quarter finals and ofc the finals where he took the team to an almost winning position
Raina played crucial cameos in the quarter and semi finals
Zaheer would bowl excellent spell with the new ball
Harbajan would bowl good overs in the middle
Finally they were led by an astute captain who played one of the best innings of his career when it mattered the most taking the team to the world cup in the finals

Watch our new video maybe 🙌
Don't forget the biggest mastermind- Pat Cummins
Yeah it looks like Australia came to win the match right from the start ! No pressure and just a game for them, whereas Indian were arrogant
10 match finals lol. Sure, India can have a paper WC trophy for being the strongest team on paper.
Desperately trying to cover for India's incessant habit of crashing in finals. Pls stop
10 match finals😂😂 even the highest no of odis in a bilateral series is only 7 stop crying over the loss and focus on the future

You and i and the countless keyboard warriors are all here to make hypotheticals and wank each other only. @@AbhishekMSTE
For all the people who are blaming the crowd of stadium. let me tell you,
Personally, I don't think that silent crowd Might be or Should be any major factor for the perfomance of India.
Even Back in 2011, when India won the world cup, the crowd became complete dead silent during finals when Sehwag got out in 1st over and again when Sachin got out very early at 18 runs.
Still Gambhir and Dhoni played great Innings of 97 and 91 runs respectively (arguably the most memorable innings for ICT fans) .
Also, It was only when Gambhir played brilliant innings and soaked all the pressure and Dhoni came along playing a great Innings which made crowd Genuinely Alive and Roaring again.
And that's how India won CWC 2011 by chasing a record 275 runs to win the world cup in the Most memorable way ever.
India's masterplan of manipulating pitch backfired 😂
As everyone was talking about winning toss and batting first in final, Indian management decided to make a pitch difficult to bat first.
Their Plan was that either Rohit will win toss and decide to field(he was BS'ing when he said he wanted to bat first) or Aus will bat first as per common judgement - win/win for India in both case.
But Aus won toss and decided to field.
Indian think tank did not see that coming.😂😂
They thought up a master plan, but it backfired because Pat Cummins and co. thought up a Grandmaster plan.
This..
Could be true
India's dominance on home soil in recent years, esp in tests was majorly due to factors like this
That's so fucking true

That's pressure of 1.4 billion is on indian player
Mostly indian player were unable to perform in pressure
While aus is not in pressure so they can play normal game
Even we beat aus in all series in 2023 and in group stage of wc but only match that has pressure is wc final so they won
@my_father_sorry_i_am_lying_now rohit sharma told he would've choosed to bat if he had won the toss. Don't make excuses about the pitch.
What you talking bout ? Shreyas iyer and KL were perfect in middle order and provided very strong stability
Maybe now they can do it in next 4 years but they have already ready made a decision to end their career.Even Sachin had to play too many WC to win a single even when the team was good enough to qualify and defeat Australia more than once.

KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer cannot bat against quality bowling attacks on Tough pitches. Only Rohit and Kohli can do that, Rohit throwing away his wicket was the reason why India lost, he should have known that rest of the batsman are not capable enough to bat at this track

One needs to look at the game situation as well. I'd rate Nehra's 6-23 against England as better than McGrath 7-15 against a hapless Namibia. Shami's figures came in the semi final of a wc on a Mumbai road when NZ were kind of looking to snatch the game away. Pretty sure Southee bowled on a juicy cow grazing NZ pitch in a league game with not much win or die consequences for his 7-33
As per my own logic, I'd rate Shane Warne's 4-35 something in 1999 semi against SA as joint equal with Shami. It's not about the number of wickets or runs given but the amount of stakes and the opposition plus the nature of the game (knockout game as compared to some random league match)

They choked hard!
Unpopular opinion but there were two major reasons for the defeat
You've made some valid points! 🙌
KL Rahul always fails in crucial matches….He goes in a shell…But the problem in less pressure matches he scores really good so u cnt say much….

India too is lucky then!!
Indian batsmen too was beaten many times and would have been wrapped under 100 by Aussie bowlers but lucky they scored 240.

This has to do with a middle order. It doesn't matter how many flat pitch bullies you can throw in the top 3
There is a reason EVERY world cup winning captain other than Ponting has batted in the middle order
1 - Clive Llyod - bats at 4
2 - Kapil Dev - bats at 6
3 - Allan Border - Bats at 5
4 - Imran Khan - Bats at 6 (except the finals)
5 - Ranatunga - bats at 5
6 - Steve Waugh - bats at 5
7 - Ponting - Top order - exception
8 - Dhoni - Bats at 5
9 - Clarke - Bats at 5
10 - Morgan - Bats at 4
11 - Cummins - bats at 7/8
In PRESSURE games you need a strong middle order . By 2011 Dhoni/Yuvi/Raina had a combined total of 20+ years of middle order experience ( Yuvi - 10 , Dhoni - 7 , Raina - 4) and that too exclusive middle order experience.
Since 2013 all we have done is focused on the top 3 - Rohit , Dhawan, Kohli, KL , Gill
We don't celebrate heros at #4,#5,#6 - Yuvi , Dhoni were national icons - where are the superstars now who consistently play every game
My suggestion for 2027 would be to settle on a 4/5/6 and stick with them for 4 years no matter what
2027 should ideally look something like this
1. Jaiswal - all out attack at the top
2. Gill - the anchor
3. Ruturaj - all out attack
4. Pant - he should become our middle order rock - he is already a celebrated icon in tests
5 Hardik - He should step up to this slot as the captain
6 Rinku - he is our middle order hero and let him play for 4 years across T20/ODI - he will learn6 ow to finish games at all stages.
7 - Washington - Spinner 1 and solid lower middle order bat
8 - Axar = Spinner 2 and solid lower middle order bat
9/10/Jack - 3 pacers - Bumrah/Siraj/Umran etc
This way you bat all the way through #8 and can attack from over 1 - You need just one anchor and that should be GIll
Until stop their bullish and humiliating attitude against other teams they will keep on facing this
India big players are over hyped can't perform when it matter the most.
Sadly yeah!
@@officialsportica If Rohit stayed just till 30th over , Rohit could scored 150-160 easily and India could reach till 400 easily but hard luck.
when there is BKL there is always hope for Austrailian team team only had Virat,Rohit others were paper tigers in bowling same Shami, bumrah other 7 players were basically useless and Biggest useless guy is BKL after his selfish 50 runs he could have accelerated the innings but no still tuk tuk what to say.
True
Can you do a video on Australia, and how we win when it matters most?

Its embarassing how as a captain and indias most experienced batsman(along with kohli), rohits strategy was to leave the innings to the youngsters, how dravid as a coach allowed that is embarrasing
Who is watching after India won
next topic about mushfiqur pls
Honestly a massive flaw for me personally is SK Yadav. After a batting collapse, we expected a 2011 vs Pakistan Raina like innings from him. Suresh Raina made the best out of a horrible pitch, trusting the tail to play a few, while not throwing his wicket away, playing as calculatively as possible.
SKY on the other hand neither could click himself nor could trust his tail to score a few vital runs. That made everything go downhill once Australia got set after early collapse.
Who's here after India won the 2024 T20 World Cup?
Me
Sbka time aata hai , ayega ayega
Before 2007 india was not even consistent enough to even reach semifinals.
Whos here after India won the t20 wc
I know it’s late to reply. We are Indians champions T20 World Cup
I had an Indian fella say to me that Australia has an unfair advantage because they bowl a white ball whilst wearing yellow shirts.
😂😂😂
The ball is released above the shoulder backed by a black sight screen.
So you're an Aussie ?
@@justanormieweeb
Yeah I'm an Aussie but that doesn't change how ridiculous the claim is that yellow shirts give Australia an advantage.
It's a disadvantage because it clashes with all the gold cups we are winning all of the time.
@@bobhawke7373 💀 who the fuk told you that
That's so stupid
indians are very superstitious and stupid
they world a penis made of stone.. called lingam
hahahh

Ever since social media India didn’t win any major trophy. They lack focus and is heavily involved in social media.
There was Facebook, Twitter in late 2000's era also.
"One of the greatest teams in the history of cricket"...
Honestly, Indians are the only people in the world who actually believe this hogwash. Great teams win.
They choked hard!
I think you got the wrong meaning, that team was called best team India has ever produced
Hence they are carrying the tag of chockers after Dhoni left the captaincy..
as said in the dhoni's biopic
"a good fielder will always save crucial runs for the team"
australians were giving their all in the game during fielding, they saved around 30-35 runs in the fielding itself
i don't remember but one of the player was bleeding also, that's the attitude which was needed from india in the finals
second was no 6th bowling option, rohit got cocky with suryakumar yadav when he should have started ashwin, who is literally the only player you will give all the powers when it comes to playing against the aussies, he played against them in the first group game at chennai also and took a wicket with an economy of under 4, ashwin also started in the 2011 wc game between australia and india at the same ahemdabad ground where he took 2 wickets and he has been the best player in border gavaskar trophy held in india in past 10-12 years
india made 400 runs in the semis vs newzealand which is a mammoth target but if you really see the cracks in bowling were visible from that game itself, it was a 400 target which saved india else make it 350 and india would have lost the game
Who is here after we won t20 world cup
First excellent video
Thanks bro! Keep supporting 💖
Thank god india remove chokers tag after winning t20 wc 2024
Theres only one reason India didnt win the world cup: India did not have a Super Team
India did not have No.8 allrounder batsman like the Aussies had with Pat Cummins and India's No.6 batsman was virtually nonexistent as SKY played horrible this world cup; he is nothing but a T20i bully and the decision to take him up into the ODI playing XI was a disaster.
@@mohammedrahman3118the main difference is the Indians play for themselves and their own stats, the Aussies don't care about any of that stuff
Wouldn't say Cummins is any better of a batter than Shami tbh. But SKY was awful which basically meant Shami played at 7. I wish Yadav still had his earlier all round abilities.
India has Gods & Kings & Princes of cricket, just no trophies 😂
Only arrogance and attitude😂
exactly, i wont be surprised if idiots worship them. they are just humans like us.
@@sarasalone3060 Yeah so arrogant now they are world champion. 😂
Hey bro you make great videos.. love em... Can you make a video about kane Williamson ?? Will love to see that
Thanks man! Kane Williamson is on our list already 💖🙌
They played extremely well throughout the tournament. People should cheer them up 🙌
But you have to say they are most consistent team in the world.
2014- Lost against Sri Lanka (Eventual champions)
2015-Lost against Australia (Eventual champions)
2016-Lost against West Indies (Eventual champions)
2017-Lost against Pakistan (Eventual champions)
2019-Lost against New Zealand
2022-Lost against England (Eventual champions).
Yeah sad!
Play Jose Mourinho's "football heritage" speech to the Indian cricket team. That speech (though football related) is very relevant to this team.
You can be the richest cricket control board, but Money can't buy the winning mindset. The Aussies are absolutely gems in handling knockouts pressure. Thts how they are conditioned.
My essays are just like these, make it long even if you don't know the reason
We lost because we gave up too early and Australia wanted it more we had everything else better than them but mentality. Another thing to dissapointed me was only 10 teams in this tournament
Lol, In 14 years if any cricket team wins a world. Scientifically it will be a indian team. With the number of indian origin players playing for different countries
Let's see!
No doubt there is alot of talent in India but however when there is a constant rotation players it doesn't give much faith in their individual performances thus each player is forced to do well each & every match otherwise they'll get dropped
To have a strong team you need a even stronger domestic game = Australia has this strong setup but India relies too heavily on the IPL
You would undoubtably would not have won. Stop making excuses and get some more cope.
shut ur ***! off.... we had all the potential too win...... ur australian morons won the toss by the way....@@geoffmaloney2717
Australians play on faster bouncier pitches at home. A sluggish pitch does NOT favour Australia. The difference was attitude. India thought they were on a victory march and just had to turn up to win. Australia out thought and out played them.
So, all those wins in previous games came thanks to doctored pitch. Disgraceful then
Jadeja,Surya kumar Yadav and S Gill did not perform well in final ,In was heavily dependent on Rohit,Kohli,Iyer and KL Rahul ,these three disappointed a lot, Jadeja being an all Rounder hardly gave any comfort to India
2. Media overhyped india team and when pressure comes crowds reactions turns to negative energy and comes to ground 😅
3. Pat cummings started their mind games before starting their match. All the india fell into that 😂
You've mentioned all the major reasons here! I also feel the same. It was just too much pressure for them 🙌
Over confidence is the matter in Indian Cricket team.. They think that they are THE team... And loses.... When they realise it they are too late ✌️
You are wrong they were under confident the fear of failure got inside their head
