Those sculptures are incredible!! When you first rounded the corner the shadows made it look like they were real people from the past. You cracked me up when you said she was probably a blimp by then😂
I’m so addicted to your stories , I really like how as your telling the story you stop and show tombstones of others . Makes it so interesting to wonder about the lives of others and also how short life span was in the 1800s . Thank you
Actually a few people did live to a ripe old age! I have a Great-Great-Grandmotger who was born in 1812 and died in 1902! She had 13 children , 10 if whom survived into adulthood! She became a widow in her early 40's when a free fell and killed her husband on their farm. She trucked vegetables and fruits to keep the family going! That company still exists in 2022! She had some great Swiss genes! Hope I have them too! 🥰
The drone footage, the music, & the historical photography - what else could one want as an appropriate interlude from Shark Week as it fades off until next year. Sunday nights with Ron, ah one of my favorite daydreams. As usual history told with your impeccable sense of humor
Great work! I found an old newspaper article from the Sausalito News, February 8, 1889. It states that Lucy paid $200,000 (!) for the monument, and that the four figures represent Commerce, Finance, Banking, and Railroading. (An online inflation calculator says that $200,000 in 1872 is equal to $4,800,000 today. Seems like you could get something much bigger for $4,800,000, but it was extravagantly expensive for the day regardless.)
*"The other (shot) found his stomach, right in his huge belly. How could you miss it?" Ron, I was drinking soda when I heard you say that! Do you know how uncomfortable it is when soda goes down the wrong pipe? Well, that belly laugh was well worth it. Thanks so much, dearest one. Peace* 💜💗💜
If anyone is interested, a movie 1937 called Toast of New York. A semi fictional story about Jim Fisk. Francis Farmer played Josie & Cary Grant played Edward. Slow on facts but an excellent movie.
That’s quite a story. Sad for so many reasons. Love your added affects with the story especially the shooting and in his death bed, I saw that rat. All in all another great story. Thanks Ron.
An excellent story!!! An impressive grave with a hughe monument. Lucy got to live less time than Josie...with a husband like that who is going to live a healthy and peaceful life!!!🙏🏻👍🏻
Rest in peace Jim & Lucy Fisk, & everyone. Wow, he was also known as Diamond Jim, as well as Jubilee Jim. Fisk tried to use President Grant's name in some kind of scheme. As for people who cheat on their partners please don't get me started 🤬 on that subject. Nice T shirt, The Steve Miller Band. Stay safe Sir & everyone.
That is quite the grave for a man who seemed to cause so much chaos. That is such an interesting story . Im a little surprised at how long Josie lived . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
8:00 Dude I love how you strung together that little romance interpretation. So long ago ..not easy to articulate. I felt that and thank you. It didn't go unnoticed. Thank you for that.
Ron loved the intro to this story!! Great job!! Have been to Brattleboro many times and never knew this story, Wowee!! What a monument!! Ron we really had a laugh, when the little voices started to talk, money, money, money... Ron thank you for the music, you really put so much into the stories, it was "fantabulous"!!! 😊👏👏👏👍
Another great story by Ron the great story teller... thanks Ron I enjoyed ....sad for mr fisk...nice monument where he is buried at ..rip big Jim fisk 🙏😇. Safe travels Ron and take care....
Such a crazy story, and well told. Loved the music for this and how the scenes came to life, especially the shooting and deathbed!! Fisk and Josie seemed to deserve each other and after Stokes joined them, recipe for disaster ! I agree he got what he deserved, but what a grand monument for this wheeler dealer. Thank You Ron, this was so entertaining!
Early morning rush here in Scotland but that beginning music is so beautiful. I am keeping the story until later and looking forward to it. Ron you present all your walks and tales with such grace. It's a gift. Surely we are indeed fortunate to be your audience. I cant wait to hear this. Thank you so so much.
Well done Ron, I loved all the animation and description of each character was on point. You have a gift, thank you so much for sharing it with us.... 💜🙏🏻💜
I’ve especially noticed the beautiful music throughout the last several videos. Loved it and the added graphics with Big Jim and the buxom Josie. Great job!
There is a 1908 photo of the monument online. It was so beautiful, and there were no other graves surrounding it at the time. Lucy was still living, of course.
Love the story, the little cartoon pictures, were so awesome, I loved the little mouse and I don’t like mice lol. Great job Ron, beautiful beginning. ❤️
Yes, a great story. Your graphics and animations are top notch! You’re getting very good at additions to your provocative stories. by the way, your story on the Smuttynose murders was quite interesting and have bought the Robinson book at your suggestion . Love the read. Learning a lot about the background of the Isles of Shoals.
Ron, You are such a MASTER!!! at you craft. I had to rewatch this video a couple times just to see your drone introduction. It's BEAUTIFUL!!!! You are a wonderful teacher and story teller.😊💖👏👏👏☺
Well done Ron excellent as always thanks for the fun on the live chat don’t often get to see one but really enjoyed it ❤️❤️❤️ stay safe and love from Melbourne Australia🦘🐨🦘
Definitely a whopper of a story. The 4 ladies that surround his grave monument seem appropriate since he was a ladies' man and Josie wound up with a low turnout for her grave. Lived to a ripe old age though.
You’re soo cool and I love the way you tell stories!!! great storytelling! I also think it’s so interesting you know all these cases and actually go to locations!!! That’s awesome!!!
14:40 “Just give me money, money, money” 🤣🤣🤣 You nailed it, Ron. I laughed so hard at that part. Another amazing story and video as always. 💜✨🔮 thank you, Ron.
I liked the beginning, flying in with the drone! The cemetery is rally spooky beautiful.... That you find old photos of the people is awesome! It was a really crazy story about crazy strange people. I hope Lucy Fisk had a good life as widow of Big Jim Fisk.
The man standing in the middle of the photo behind the cannon @4:37 looks like a ghost, he looks much different than most of the other men in the photo. He's almost transparent compared to them. The next man to his right seems a bit misty also. That's weird! Thanks again for another great video. Blessings to all, God bless, stay safe!
I love your story styles and I know it's serious business but I had a little chuckle in this one, I couldn't help it. That picture of Josie got me she was quite manly looking so I'd say she was a handsome woman. Thankyou Ron. What a tangled Web....❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Ron!! I love you in this shirt!! The song was popular when I was a freshman. You look great in it. Plus your spectacular drone footage shows your excellent pilot skills. Such a great story. Thank you!
Great story Ron, very interesting. Looks like they would have hung that guy for murdering the rich guy, instead of just giving him a short prison sentence. Loved the drone shots of the cemetery, that place looked huge. Old gravestones as far as the eye can see. Stay safe on your journeys Ron.🙂💟
Hey ron loved the intro with the drone seem's it's becoming the norm wasn't around yesterday had thing's to fix before the weather changes strange story of murder thank's for sharing sir
Great story! I have been to Brattleboro Vermont, (living in Tennessee all my life I thought it was sooo far away 😆) noone ever seems to know about it when I talk about it
Well! What a tangled web 🕸 that whole thing was! Wow! He did get what he deserved! You are right about that Ron! I loved all your extra touches. Drone footage, music, the extra photos, etc. The rats 🐀 Quite the monument they built to him! Guess he couldn't take all that money with him! Josie got what she deserved too! As always thank you for all your hard work Ron! 🙏 💕
This is so sad. Some people are heartless, killing someone as if you won't die someday. Thanks for the story. You a good story teller. what a massive grave. After all those years it still stands. Appreciate all you do Ron Peace be with you.
Enjoyable story about Big Jim and how he made his money. Having a side hustle sometimes is not that smart. It will burn you. Loved the picture animations you did. Excellent drone footage. Take care Ron.
Those sculptures are incredible!! When you first rounded the corner the shadows made it look like they were real people from the past.
You cracked me up when you said she was probably a blimp by then😂
Ron, you are getting so great at the graphics.
I laughed so hard, at her moving her fan up and down. While you said "give me money." You're great.
His bad choices cut his life short for sure. Surprised he didn't have a bodyguard. Very interesting tale. 👌

Cool!
I think they represent the 4 half naked "un-virtuous" women he was always looking for.
and they are now with him forever......well, till it crumbles.
@@FacesoftheForgotten 😁
Crazy story and the drone footage was awesome. Love the t-shirt and old favorite Steve Miller Band!
