    THIS STORY:
It was February 10, 1982. Leona Milfred, who was 76 years old, was working her little country grocery store. She had offers to sell the building & land, but she just couldn’t do it.
But this was to be a a day where true evil would visit for Leona. Because a 34 year old woman named Bonita Smith and a 20 year old man named James Willison from nearby Baraboo Wisconsin, were on a bloody mission.
They were actually stalking her all day. They came in and initially Willison tried to strangle Leona. Then Bonita shockingly jumped on her and stabbed her over 50 times to death.
    THIS CHANNEL:
    _________________________________________________________
The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
    Some are famous.
    And some infamous....
    ....and some with tragic endings.

My uncle was murdered back in 1968. 18 years old. The trickle down effects of his death is real. Some punk gang member trying to earn his place. My uncle was hanging out with his brothers and a friend in their car in the apartments where his buddy lived listening to music minding their own business. Shotgun blast to the left temple right next to his brothers. So unfair so sick. My grandmother went onto live until January 2019 without her son. Unimaginable. Thank you for what you do Ron. You're a gem of a person.

Sounds like Miss Smith suffers from psychopathic behavior. I believe people are born into this and its there for life. I unfortunately live by a disturbed individual who was released from jail after being so called "rehabilitated."After talking to this gentleman I was horrorified to find he hadnt turned a new leaf at all. He told me of his killing moods and wanting to harm animals. Wasnt long afterward he told me he was watching me at night through the holes in my blinds.I told him if I catch him he will regret it. I caught him and my shot gun accidently discharged into the ground by his feet. I believe he needed a change of underwear as he ran back to his dads home.I think my rehabiliation was a little more successful then the law enforcements as to this day he refuses to come near me.Keep up the good work Ron these stories need to be told .

Of course it can be done for every murderer. The problem is over crowding so they want to let the 70 plus year old murderers out to make more room. Build more prisons. Bring back chain gangs. Quit making prison a social club. Quit letting them get the best health care and educations while incarcerated. QUIT giving businesses a tax break for hiring convicted felons over people who haven't screwed up. That last one really hacks me off and if you look it up you might be surprised the big box stores that hire felons over people who worked all their lives to have a good record...just so the business can get a tax break. That's ridiculous. You kill someone and get out 12 years later and get a good job over someone else with no record. Hell with that.

This kind of thing makes me so angry. If you intentionally take an innocent life you should never see the light of day again!!!
Even if they genuinely changed their ways it doesn’t matter. In 12 years, 25 years, in a 100 years the victims life isn’t coming back. And the murderers should never be free again. (Personally I support capital punishment)
It’s called justice. And to cheapen it by letting these criminals go is the greatest of injustices their is and devalues the lives that were taken.
    Makes me so angry!!!
Great job on the video and story as always.

I bet you made her soul smile and her husband's as you tell her story, making sure to include the most important parts like the kind of woman she was vs the one moment that tends to be the only story ever told.
We need to remember, that one day shouldn't overtake the thousands of days they spent making our hearts smile!!!!

That is a very sad story. I just don’t understand how life in prison without parole and then they get out. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

Yeah, Life never means Life! Here in Australia it seems that murderers are out in a few years! If a woman murders, they always seem to get longer prison sentences though🤔😕 they will all have to face their maker eventually but it's sad that so many innocent lives get destroyed in the mean time. Thanks for your stories, I love your channel😊🌏🪐🍀🌕🙏🇦🇺🌸🦋👣🌈🦉🌴❤️

Time served? There should be no parole, life in prison . She stabbed that woman so many times and she gets parole? I hate the justice system. No justice in this case.

They actually should find spirituality, they should become rehabilitated, they should use their time wisely with helping how they can and getting an education. But they should also still serve out there sentence, especially in heinous murders like that of this defenseless older lady. So very sad and senseless. 😔

This is such an incredibly sad story. You nailed it with the frustration of folks getting "reborn" inside the walls of our justice ⚖ system.. They'll say & do anything to get out early.. Which completely fools our parole boards.. I truly hope they saw this video & feel the emotion the way all your viewers did. Thanks for all you do. #allthelove from Maine 🇺🇸
