- With the announcement of a new Madrid production, I thought it would be a good time to revisit the original one! Really lovely overall; this video features Juan and Julia, who went on to dub the 2004 movie for the Spanish soundtrack. You can definitely hear some differences in how they sang between the two.
Juan is probably my favorite out of the trio; reminds me of Saulo Vasconcelos in the "soft" quality of his voice and some of his movements.
Hello there, I’m from the USA and I’ve seen phantom several times. I was so happy to see this pop up in my feed. I hadn’t heard of either of these leads, but when I started watching it, I became entranced. I do not speak Spanish, which is a shame because I live in California and there’s so much Spanish-speaking here, but I never picked it up other than a few words. However, there is something very entrancing about hearing songs you know so well in English in Spanish, very lyrical and inviting. Mr. Barona has the most unusual voice. I’ve heard heard for a phantom in the sense that he has a warm and dreaminess to his tone, but clearly also has great vocal chops.Thanks much for this post!
Julia Möller is a gem. This is definitely one of my favorite foreign casts.

I can't quite make out what the very last word of the show is. I know it's "Solo Tu Me Puedes Ayudar. Mi Musica en la noche es" but the last word i can't quite hear. 2:02:54

The only clips of Silvia I have access to are the ones she’s shared on her own UA-cam channel. There was just a video just released that is listed as having Teresa Barrientos as Christine from the production.

how do you upload these videos to youtube. do you just record them with a video software?
They are sent to me usually as VOB, mp4, mov, or M2TS files and I simply upload them. UA-cam is able to upload most formats of video I receive. Sometimes I use a program to merge separate videos into one or turn an audio into a video
