Omg i remeber i had seen both Sarah and Marni Rabb. Both with the 2007 Tour in Toronto Canada. The tour always comes back. Sarah was on for Marni and Rob was on for John Cudia who was out sick. Both Rob and Sarah are incredible and well talented

I remember him having a pretty huge fan following, because I think he might only be the third actor to take over the lead role in the West End since it opened. Way back in the old days, lol, there was a paper newsletter that actually got mailed out called Phan Mail, and I remember it mentioning that there were some VHS recordings out there of him in the role. Who knows where they are now though. He was really good in the part, but he got a little overshadowed because Michael Crawford was still playing the role in Los Angeles through April 1991. I only know because I am old enough to have been there, lol .😂

I’ve always liked Sarah. She understudied with an awful lot of Phantoms, and i’ve always thought she was top drawer!

I’ll be honest…I saw Randal as Valjean in Les Miserables and i thought he was INCREDIBLE! But i had no idea he had been part of Phantom, let alone that he was a regular understudy for the lead role. What a perfect tenor voice for the whole role! Thanks ❤
