Noel played spoons for about 5 minutes as the audience sat in stunned silence - and a standing ovation when the power came back. Stunning group. _Thanks Peter!_
Saw them in London in '77. I might be in this audience. Saw them in Sydney in '75 supporting Roxy Music, upstaged the headliners! Saw them again in '76 just before they left for London, then London '77, then Manchester in early '90s. By then Noel was tired of the calls for him to play the spoons and refused.
Just wondered if this was the u.k. tour in which they played at Brockenhurst College in Hampshire , England , anyone ? I was a teenager then & totally mesmerized ... thanks for posting .
