- Crowded House Live- Royal Court Theatre. June 20th 1992. "It's Only Natural" with lead up pieces of "Quinn the Eskimo" & "Moneys No Object".
UnREAL. CROWDED HOUSE AND THE CURE👌👌👌👌👌
Friday I'm in love - I'm a natural man - this is when I love this band the most. Not albums this- when they are just freestyling.
Loved this performance! It's Only Natural a firm favourite of mine plus all the extra goodies! Thanks once again Peter and Mark!
How did I miss this? I miss Neil's beautiful segues - I remember him going into Not Fade Away at their first Crowded House concert at the old Festival Hall in 1986 (I'd just finished highschool) this is so fabulous.
That was.... wow.❤
No joke, I used a bootleg of this performance (25+ years ago) to convince my wife to name our first son Quinn.
The Mighty Quinn ❤
❤❤❤❤
This band is nothing short of a service to humanity but so are you in digging up these gems Peter -- this is one to watch over and over ❤ Can't help thinking what a shame it is that their every performance wasn't recorded for a permanent archive -- any chance of doing it with what you have? It's clear in this one how much Neil wanted to enjoy it himself (and, of course, Paul's drumming was unmistakable even before he apparently opened his mouth :)
Peter & Mark! So much happiness bubbling up from this footage. Hard to express the fondness and delight that comes from listening to these magic moments. I think we all carry infinite personal memories like this one that make our own lives awash with recollection. I wasn’t specifically there, but I can feel emotions that well up inside of me when I was at a concert. Thank you, gents!! Xo
Just such a great example of how tight these guys were, that they could just bounce off each other and go with the flow. Effortless ❤
"You'll not see nothing like the mighty FINN"
Excelente Cariño Te Amo
Superb! I saw them a couple of times on that tour. I never imagined I’d be watching again thirty odd years later. Thank-you. 😍🎸🎸
Every one of these UK clips from this era just brings back so many happy memories from a glorious summer following the band around England. I saw them, and chatted to Paul in the street, two days before in Wolverhampton, and then the night after this saw them again in Sheffield, where i'm pretty sure a fan played Weather With You on guitar. Thanks for posting!
That was an astonishing bit of telepathy "oh he's singing that song, we know those chords" BAM. As a musician, I know it can be done but it's a little breathtaking to see how some bands can be that in tune, it's a rare gift.
Brilliant, so pleased to see Nick's dancing hasn't changed. Love a bit of the Cure at the end too. Thank you ❤
Oh Peter, Peter, Peter. Look what you’ve found. Wow. I had to listen a couple times. Quality is on point, of course it’s Crowdies, nothing but quality. Thanks, Peter! Hugs for you!
Thank you so much for sharing, Love this footage, you cant help but feel happy when you see the Crowdies play at their best x
Thank you Peter for this. This is an awesome birthday treat for me!! ❤
Love that, fantastic clip and great sound. So much energy.....which is sadly lacking in the current reincarnation of the band.
Thanks Peter and Mark
Fun! Thanks, Mates ❤
This is magic. Thanks for posting!
Lovely memories of Murchison Street.
a fun place to live, next to Finn mansion.
'wings off flies': memorable, sick 😖🪰 and i have your book by that title 🚀 thank you and mark, for giving us a real gem 💎💎
yes the title of our coffee table style photo book of bands..it came from a really early poem I penned in front of the Bondi Lifesaver Sydney in 1978. The "Wings" were (in my head) the little metal clips use din dark rooms to hold my drying b.w photos. I think Nick Cave wrote a song with that title too in the early eighties.
