Warp spiders are rumored to get their PL so that's an additional character model... yeah I'm seeing 3 phoenix lords tops sadly. Which means some aspects might not get refreshed

I do not have much faith that the mainline Krieg will match the heavy, sullen vibe that FW's Krieg have. I'm expecting they'll all be in MCU action poses like most models now. Also expecting this to just be a disaster wiping out iconic tanks and units people put a lot of time and effort into...

Eldar can go sit at the back of the line for the next 10+ years at this point!! No more Eldar models until AFTER, Dark Eldar + Grey Knights + 1kSons + World Eaters + Death Guard + Votann + GSC's + Lost and the Damned get at least 2-3 more big release waves.

for Aeldari, there are several ideas for their detachments. Harlequins, Phoenix Lords, one that focuses more on Strand of Fate, Ynnari and Constructs focusing on vehicles and wraithbone stuff.
I remember when Warp Spiders got added to the game. With those models. I feel old. Of course in those days, we had to use a Heavy Flamer template for your Warp Spiders, and you'd get two Heavy Flamer templates for a quarter...
We need the Aspect Warrior refresh and that will do me fine. Things like the Wave Serpent ain't broke so no need to fix it, not this cycle, anyway. Newish Banshees and new Scorpions are an encouraging direction. As with all armies, there'll be a Battlforce box - I;d like Aspects only, it'd be a lovely thematic thing. If you are thinking of starting Eldar, do please get the Combat Patrol NOW, the variety in that box will not be repeated soon.
Personally I despise the waveserpent model, it is easily the worst of the grav tanks. It was such a lazy release and a real move away from the old (and awesome) concept for them. Epic 40k had some decent designs (not the really old Epic), of all the Eldar vehicles that is the one I would like to see redone the most. They could even actually model the warp wave, that would be amazing.

I'm just hoping they don't legends them (or the wraithseer) I guess they could be proxy hawks or spiders after that but yeah they're some of my favorite models.
Follow GWs line of thinking. Expect two new units for each faction that no one asked for or needed in the first place. For Krieg it'll probably be a commissar model and tank commander set. For Aeldari it'll be just more Harlequins.
I can't remember which book it is in, but there was a short story on one of the side panels of the psychic awakening campaign that seriously hinted at a Warp Spider Phoenix Lord
Updating the Aspect Warriors will, obviously, be welcome, but I'd also like to see new/ revisited ideas brought out for Aeldari. Something like a wraithlord HQ that can mix it up with a bit more resilience than other Aeldari HQs, a light assault transport that can ferry 5/6 man units of aspect warriors without the price tag of a Wave Serpent. Perhaps reintroduce Wild Riders as some kind of Saim Hann mercenary unit that can be taken by any craftworld.
Krieg? Give me: Combat Engineers with shottuns and grenades. Centaurs with 2x stubbers or other weapons and 5 man transport captasity. Deathriders. Quartermaster with retune. Minefields Turrets. (Terrain) Gorgon. Heavy weapons teams. (With the wheeled stuff) Earthshaker carriges Earshaker tracked versions with closer top. Also we need re release of the whole vraxian army.
Krieg need a Launch box, Marshal, command squad, death riders, Engineers, Grenadiers, artillery and anything else is a bonus having collected and painted Krieg for many years in resin, it's good to see the move to plastic and open up the range for more fans to get off the shelf in store hopefully it carries on with other regiments in the future.
I think it's unlikely we'll see a full Krieg upgrade kit as it's not like Space Marines where they all share the same body, Cadians and Krieg have completely different body sculpts. It's more likely that if they release Krieg kits they'll just include the parts that they think people will use and just get them to buy the other kits for kitbashing.
I can 100% seeing guard losing all of the imperial armour stuff and the Krieg “release” will just be our infantry is plastic now whilst getting rid of the interesting infantry stuff like engineers, stubber heavy weapons and mole launchers
given the precedent of many other armies of the last decade or two, its almost certain that many of the sculpts in their back pockets for months if not years. then its just a case of market and media monitoring to decide which ones get progressed to each subsequent stage
I guess, as Aeldari we are going to receive 3 remaining Aspects and Asurmen. Our "Army set" box will most likely include Asurmen, a squad of Dire Avengers(from 2006 , cause im not sure that they are going to be updated), Swooping hawks, Warp Spiders and Fire dragons. And the rest of Pheonix Lords will be slowly releasing sometime in a future
I think they'll redo the dire avengers, but they'll do them at the end of the release cycle, with Asurmen, who will probably be the last phoenix lord released (though Fuegan being last is perhaps more lore appropriate).
Honestly, if I had my way, I would've had whatever new Krieg units that we get replace the Tempestus Scions units, so that all of the Scions units could go into the Agents of the Imperium codex, so that the Agents could have more in the way of better infantry and vehicles with the Taurox Prime. However, I do understand that the Guard needs a deep strike unit, so I propose two solutions to that. 1: make a potential Death Korp Grenadiers unit the new Deep Strike unit 2: take all the Imperial Navy units and put them into the Guard, so that the Guard can have an Infiltrators unit. Since the Imperial Navy already works with the Guard the most, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have the Navy units join the Guard
I really hope we get some wraith units for the eldar, that's what got me into the army in the first place. Maybe some light infantry, the bonesinger and some wraithblades with a jetpack?
wraith constructs dont need anything new at all. Not when other parts of the range are 20+ years old at this point. The one thing you could hope for is a plastic wraithseer but thatll probably come later if at all

GW paying attention to your faction went from "I wonder what cool stuff we're getting" to "I hope they don't screw up _too_ much". It went from excitement to anxiousness; your lore, your models, and your rules are in danger when GW's eye of sauron is on your faction.
Honestly, they're way cooler than Kriegers But in general why can't GW make upgrade sprues for the big regiments? They hate 3rd party guard upgrade kits and yet do nothing to remedy the problem

What I expect to see from Krieg is five units, a solo officer or two and an upgrade sprue. At least that sounds like a reasonably sized release wave. As for the specific squads... Infantry squad, similar to the Cadians. They're just too different to upgrade from the current Cadian infantry with an upgrade kit. Command squad for the same reason Death riders for something different and iconic. For the little less safe bets Artillery unit. Whether it's the Krieg version of FOBs or one of the bigger carriages. Grenadiers. Could see them working similarly to Kasrkins. Some high ranking epic hero Krieg officer. A generic officer, captain or lieutenant. The upgrade kit holds alternative body parts, vehicle crew, bayonets and other gear like shovels. This would create a good alternative for Cadian troops and fill up a combat patrol and the launch set nicely. Of course there's the chance of GW coming up with something insane and fun like the towing tractor tankette or a biplane bomber (that would suck because aircraft) but it seems a little too much effort for a sub-army. Then again, it's a long break in releases between now and January...
I would love to see a revamped centaur. A small 5 transport capacity vehicle for command squads and small grenadier/ storm trooper units would be awesome.
The remaining finecast aspects and phoenix lords would be the minimum I'm hoping for. I fear that we might get disappointed though and that one of the old resin aspects will not see an update for another few years. It would be crazy, but this being GW part of me wouldn't be surprised. Other than those, if we're gonna dream we might as well dream big. Rumours are that there will be a Warp Spider phoenix lord, which would be cool. I think the Falcon could wo with a resculpt. Not a redesign, but rather to run that same design through some modern 3d sculpting software to make for a kit that goes together a bit better and won't have a many mold lines etc. The Vyper I would like to see updated. I would love to see a new model and rules support for a jetbike autarch that can join Shining Spears. I'd like to keep Yriel and Ilic around with new plastic kits. Shadow Spectres + phoenix lord in plastic would be nice. New Dire Avengers would be great as well, but to be honest, part of me thinks that might be the next kit that'll make it to 30 years old lol.
I've been playing ELDAR since 2nd edition. Missed Rogue Trader by a year. I'm also a HUGE IMPERIAL GUARD player. What I'd like to see (I'm typing this only a minute into the video): Plastic Swooping Hawks, Plastic Fire Dragons, Plastic Warp Spiders. A new Vyper sculpt. The rest of the Phoenix Lords in plastic (Karandras, Fuegan, Baharoth, Asurmen). Bring back the Bonesinger in plastic so we can have a "tank mechanic" too like other factions. More Corsair options, like Corsair Warwalkers and vehicles. Wraithseer in plastic and in the Codex. Scorpion and Cobra Heavy Grav tanks in plastic and in the Codex. Allow Autarchs to join Aspect Warriors and not just Guardians. GIVE US EXODITES!
I wish the Eldar would get more named characters, particularly one from each craftworld. Also, craftworld specific units would be interesting, like Pathfinders of Alaitoc, that are different to ordinary rangers in some way.
I hope that Dire Avengers will also get new minis. The one that we have now are in plastic but they are just copies of the old metal/finecast models. They are even are smaller than regular Eldar Guardians and if it’s true that a new Asurmen is coming out, the Dire Avengers would not look good when lead by a brand new mini. We also need a new Autarch on jetbike. It’s the only jetbike unit that has not been update and still uses the old jetbike design.
Other than not gelling with a new Asurmen, Avengers means taking up a release slot of things that need it more. There's older units, there's units still in resin.

100 percent - death riders kit- as pictured as an art in the last octarius kt box vs the orks. Earthshaker /medusa kit - this is DKOK signatured Infantry - Marshall - Shotgun Engineers Stormtrooper with volley lasguns tanks- maybe one unique ones to dkok? like the centuar
I think centaurs have a decent chance, as a vehicle there is plenty of opportunity to create chassis varients. And has the potential for non-krieg regiments if they include 1 or 2 generic crewmen.
Doubt we’re getting an upgrade sprue and a basic infantry box. You buy the kill team, you get the infantry squad. 100% losing IA tanks, unless they put out a plastic Macharius (so much better than their Sherman wannabe). The plastic Malcador is for heresy, so we’re absolutely losing that. I’d reckon the box is just going to be the combat patrol, so temper those expectations. It’s not going to be crammed full of things.
It's interesting that of all the existing models, that it is specifically the cadian cammand squad, implying there are other command squads that are on the way.
Tank commanders are squadron keyword same with baneblade varients. You can have tank commands for dorns and baneblades not just russes anymore. Characters can give out mote orders so you dont have to rely on leontis. Plastic grenediers and engineers for infantry and deathriders for movemnet. Kreig upgrade sprews for artilary and heavy weapons squads. Plastic medusa, earthshaker, hades breaching drill and thud gun, storm chimera and mars pattern russ and plastic gorgon. 1 or 2 named characters for kreig, kreig command squad and plastic marshal.
Through the plastic renovation I espect a new aspect warrios specized in combat with demons (like the grey knights) and a melee version of the rangers And of curse, a greate relase of the BIG colection of tanks of the asuryani
Can't be done through upgrades. Just like Krieg Killteam the greatcoats take up the model's whole torso and legs. But a Vostroyan kill team would be amazing. Personally I'm holding out for a Tallarn kill team.

It would be pretty sad if Catachans don't get an update on the Guard side. On the eldar side... good grief, there's something like 15 kits if not more just from 2nd, 3rd and 4th edition, they will still have the oldest models afterwards. That said, I'd like a vyper gunboat/transport kit alongside the aspects, and maybe an actual new unit and a character or two. Having Nuadhu Fireheart alongside a remade vyper would make sense.
I'm kinda happy about the release break right now (one of my two main armys has it's codex so no wonder) but now I got time to save up a little for the Krieg release which will be my third army and I really want the battleforce and the dice.
I feel like the Macharius would be a fantastic release for Krieg given how central it was during the Siege of Vraks Imperial armour books. (I also just want more tanks, because treads go brrr)

I know Kreig will get unique units of their own but I think some of it, may just be upgrade sprues but on a different level, like upgrades for weapons and vehicles. The Militarum range is so large and a good chunk of it is still in resin I know they are gonna clean house on that range. Move more things to plastic as they have been doing for HH and gut a lot of those models either to legends or permanently gone from the range. I also wouldnt compared Eldar to the BA or DA releases. GW seems to have its own pattern for releasing the space marine chapters. I would treat the next Eldar range like the previous one from 9th edition. Just an overall update to random models that need it and a couple new ones
the death world known as chatacan is being retired as well its stil being fought over by victora. 3:15 . its also not new kits but tranferd kits from resin to plastic for the eldar

I don't play KT, so I don't know the rules, how is it balanced? 10 Warp Spiders in 40k would wipe the floor with Veteran Guardsmen or Blooded Cultists. In a small environment like that the teleportation is deadly. No such luck in Boarding Patrol. It might take ages for the individual box, Mandrakes and Night Lords are still unavailable yet.
@@anophelesnow3957They will likely make it a 6 man kill team like with almost all space marine teams. It’s not specific to the box-size. Even like the Veteran Guardsmen, they have 14 with their ancillary support.
Elder i hope for a massive range refresh with new models that we know by lora but dont have in game yet. Guards i hope we get massive range like more death korps so you can do 3k points of them, make flyers better for them etc.
Swooping Hawks will be held for a Killteam release. The Fire Dragons look serviceable still, but then GW redid the Howling Banshees (which still looked great at the time). Jumping Spiders are pretty popular, so i'd be surprised if they didn't get a new sculpt in the next wave of releases. I am holding out hope we might see a new aspect shrine pop up, either a brand new one or the Shadow Spectres (along with Phoenix Lord Irillyth). Another Autarch kit with bits from the new aspect shrine releases would be nice as well. I'm also hoping GW does a Fallen Phoenix/Arhra release for the Dark Eldar. Probably not getting Exodites until the next edition of Killteam is through.
What about the Armageddon steel legion? Will they get some attention some day? I would really like a return to more modular sprues - its next to impossible to swap arms, weapons etc these days. I remember making a cool squad if troopers using leftover cadian bits with waryames factory shock troops. They look great.
They've been heavily nerfed in lore over time to make the Eldar seem weaker. Now they aren't the original bodies, they've reincarnated through their armour a bunch of times besides Maugan Ra. It's stupid but it is what it is.
While I'm expecting most of the remaining aspects to return, I have my doubts about spiders, mostly due to the fact that they are still on their first ever model and while there's been jump generators in couple kits (corsairs and new autarch) they didn't any rules for those in the game. I'm hoping that I'm wrong but given GWs cutting policy they might be on list along with yriel, the sniper dude and forgeworld stuff.
I think models that are marked "online only" are on the chopping block as a new codex comes out. I think the leman Russ and falcon will be sent to legends as they become "primarised" with the rogal dorn and a tbd eldar vehicle.

People would hate them for it and it would cause an uproar that makes female custodes look like mild agitation but a lot of people would buy replacement kits.
I really want to see not just Krieg but the imperial guard get more sources of orders so that the Leontus command blob isn't such an auto-include.

for Aeldari, there are several ideas for their detachments. Harlequins, Phoenix Lords, one that focuses more on Strand of Fate, Ynnari and Constructs focusing on vehicles and wraithbone stuff.

We need the Aspect Warrior refresh and that will do me fine. Things like the Wave Serpent ain't broke so no need to fix it, not this cycle, anyway. Newish Banshees and new Scorpions are an encouraging direction. As with all armies, there'll be a Battlforce box - I;d like Aspects only, it'd be a lovely thematic thing. If you are thinking of starting Eldar, do please get the Combat Patrol NOW, the variety in that box will not be repeated soon.
Personally I despise the waveserpent model, it is easily the worst of the grav tanks. It was such a lazy release and a real move away from the old (and awesome) concept for them. Epic 40k had some decent designs (not the really old Epic), of all the Eldar vehicles that is the one I would like to see redone the most. They could even actually model the warp wave, that would be amazing.
Would really enjoy some new sculpts for Ratlings.
A Rogal Dorn Tank Commander would be an interesting added datasheet.

Updating the Aspect Warriors will, obviously, be welcome, but I'd also like to see new/ revisited ideas brought out for Aeldari. Something like a wraithlord HQ that can mix it up with a bit more resilience than other Aeldari HQs, a light assault transport that can ferry 5/6 man units of aspect warriors without the price tag of a Wave Serpent. Perhaps reintroduce Wild Riders as some kind of Saim Hann mercenary unit that can be taken by any craftworld.

Krieg need a Launch box, Marshal, command squad, death riders, Engineers, Grenadiers, artillery and anything else is a bonus having collected and painted Krieg for many years in resin, it's good to see the move to plastic and open up the range for more fans to get off the shelf in store hopefully it carries on with other regiments in the future.
I think it's unlikely we'll see a full Krieg upgrade kit as it's not like Space Marines where they all share the same body, Cadians and Krieg have completely different body sculpts. It's more likely that if they release Krieg kits they'll just include the parts that they think people will use and just get them to buy the other kits for kitbashing.
Id love to see a mounted command squad for guard. Solar can attach to attilans and could use thr 24" orders when embedded

The forge world cut is going to take guard from an army to barely a battalion
given the precedent of many other armies of the last decade or two, its almost certain that many of the sculpts in their back pockets for months if not years. then its just a case of market and media monitoring to decide which ones get progressed to each subsequent stage
I guess, as Aeldari we are going to receive 3 remaining Aspects and Asurmen. Our "Army set" box will most likely include Asurmen, a squad of Dire Avengers(from 2006 , cause im not sure that they are going to be updated), Swooping hawks, Warp Spiders and Fire dragons. And the rest of Pheonix Lords will be slowly releasing sometime in a future
I think they'll redo the dire avengers, but they'll do them at the end of the release cycle, with Asurmen, who will probably be the last phoenix lord released (though Fuegan being last is perhaps more lore appropriate).
Honestly, if I had my way, I would've had whatever new Krieg units that we get replace the Tempestus Scions units, so that all of the Scions units could go into the Agents of the Imperium codex, so that the Agents could have more in the way of better infantry and vehicles with the Taurox Prime.
However, I do understand that the Guard needs a deep strike unit, so I propose two solutions to that.
1: make a potential Death Korp Grenadiers unit the new Deep Strike unit
2: take all the Imperial Navy units and put them into the Guard, so that the Guard can have an Infiltrators unit. Since the Imperial Navy already works with the Guard the most, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have the Navy units join the Guard

I really hope we get some wraith units for the eldar, that's what got me into the army in the first place. Maybe some light infantry, the bonesinger and some wraithblades with a jetpack?
Wraiths got kits in 6th and 7th, so they are fairly "recent" and are definitely in low priority compared to other updates

What I expect to see from Krieg is five units, a solo officer or two and an upgrade sprue. At least that sounds like a reasonably sized release wave. As for the specific squads...
Infantry squad, similar to the Cadians. They're just too different to upgrade from the current Cadian infantry with an upgrade kit.
Command squad for the same reason
Death riders for something different and iconic.
For the little less safe bets
Artillery unit. Whether it's the Krieg version of FOBs or one of the bigger carriages.
Grenadiers. Could see them working similarly to Kasrkins.
Some high ranking epic hero Krieg officer.
A generic officer, captain or lieutenant.
The upgrade kit holds alternative body parts, vehicle crew, bayonets and other gear like shovels.
This would create a good alternative for Cadian troops and fill up a combat patrol and the launch set nicely.
Of course there's the chance of GW coming up with something insane and fun like the towing tractor tankette or a biplane bomber (that would suck because aircraft) but it seems a little too much effort for a sub-army. Then again, it's a long break in releases between now and January...

That medusa type gun makes an awful lot of sense. And it would be a great addition to the Guard in general.
I would love to see a revamped centaur. A small 5 transport capacity vehicle for command squads and small grenadier/ storm trooper units would be awesome.
The remaining finecast aspects and phoenix lords would be the minimum I'm hoping for. I fear that we might get disappointed though and that one of the old resin aspects will not see an update for another few years. It would be crazy, but this being GW part of me wouldn't be surprised.
Other than those, if we're gonna dream we might as well dream big. Rumours are that there will be a Warp Spider phoenix lord, which would be cool. I think the Falcon could wo with a resculpt. Not a redesign, but rather to run that same design through some modern 3d sculpting software to make for a kit that goes together a bit better and won't have a many mold lines etc. The Vyper I would like to see updated. I would love to see a new model and rules support for a jetbike autarch that can join Shining Spears. I'd like to keep Yriel and Ilic around with new plastic kits. Shadow Spectres + phoenix lord in plastic would be nice. New Dire Avengers would be great as well, but to be honest, part of me thinks that might be the next kit that'll make it to 30 years old lol.
I've been playing ELDAR since 2nd edition. Missed Rogue Trader by a year. I'm also a HUGE IMPERIAL GUARD player. What I'd like to see (I'm typing this only a minute into the video): Plastic Swooping Hawks, Plastic Fire Dragons, Plastic Warp Spiders. A new Vyper sculpt. The rest of the Phoenix Lords in plastic (Karandras, Fuegan, Baharoth, Asurmen). Bring back the Bonesinger in plastic so we can have a "tank mechanic" too like other factions. More Corsair options, like Corsair Warwalkers and vehicles. Wraithseer in plastic and in the Codex. Scorpion and Cobra Heavy Grav tanks in plastic and in the Codex. Allow Autarchs to join Aspect Warriors and not just Guardians. GIVE US EXODITES!
I wish the Eldar would get more named characters, particularly one from each craftworld. Also, craftworld specific units would be interesting, like Pathfinders of Alaitoc, that are different to ordinary rangers in some way.
I hope that Dire Avengers will also get new minis. The one that we have now are in plastic but they are just copies of the old metal/finecast models. They are even are smaller than regular Eldar Guardians and if it’s true that a new Asurmen is coming out, the Dire Avengers would not look good when lead by a brand new mini. We also need a new Autarch on jetbike. It’s the only jetbike unit that has not been update and still uses the old jetbike design.
The Dire Avengers are alright I think, aside from too much stuff on their belts. The exarch holding two catapults is a bit daft, but best loadout.
The dire avenger sculpts are painful to build. The torsos have horrible gaps and there are mould lines everywhere, especially in hard to reach spots.
Other than not gelling with a new Asurmen, Avengers means taking up a release slot of things that need it more. There's older units, there's units still in resin.
@@Aldaris1234567 There are "only" 3 aspects left in resin, a four unit release plus a couple of characters would be in line with the patterns of these last new releases. Sadly, I don't think we will see all Phoenix Lords being released with the codex.

I think centaurs have a decent chance, as a vehicle there is plenty of opportunity to create chassis varients. And has the potential for non-krieg regiments if they include 1 or 2 generic crewmen.
I hope gaurd gets an army rule they don't have to pay points for, and that can't be turned off.

100% losing IA tanks, unless they put out a plastic Macharius (so much better than their Sherman wannabe). The plastic Malcador is for heresy, so we’re absolutely losing that.
I’d reckon the box is just going to be the combat patrol, so temper those expectations. It’s not going to be crammed full of things.
It's interesting that of all the existing models, that it is specifically the cadian cammand squad, implying there are other command squads that are on the way.
Tank commanders are squadron keyword same with baneblade varients. You can have tank commands for dorns and baneblades not just russes anymore.
Characters can give out mote orders so you dont have to rely on leontis.
Plastic grenediers and engineers for infantry and deathriders for movemnet. Kreig upgrade sprews for artilary and heavy weapons squads. Plastic medusa, earthshaker, hades breaching drill and thud gun, storm chimera and mars pattern russ and plastic gorgon.
1 or 2 named characters for kreig, kreig command squad and plastic marshal.
Through the plastic renovation I espect a new aspect warrios specized in combat with demons (like the grey knights) and a melee version of the rangers
And of curse, a greate relase of the BIG colection of tanks of the asuryani
My dream is for a new release of the “Cadia Upgrade Sprue” box, but have it be for regiments that wear greatcoats (Valhallan, Vostroyan…)
Can't be done through upgrades. Just like Krieg Killteam the greatcoats take up the model's whole torso and legs. But a Vostroyan kill team would be amazing. Personally I'm holding out for a Tallarn kill team.

It would be pretty sad if Catachans don't get an update on the Guard side. On the eldar side... good grief, there's something like 15 kits if not more just from 2nd, 3rd and 4th edition, they will still have the oldest models afterwards. That said, I'd like a vyper gunboat/transport kit alongside the aspects, and maybe an actual new unit and a character or two. Having Nuadhu Fireheart alongside a remade vyper would make sense.
Honestly if both Aeldari and Guard are going to get a lot of new kits, that would explain why there won't be codex releases until next year
I'm kinda happy about the release break right now (one of my two main armys has it's codex so no wonder) but now I got time to save up a little for the Krieg release which will be my third army and I really want the battleforce and the dice.
I feel like the Macharius would be a fantastic release for Krieg given how central it was during the Siege of Vraks Imperial armour books. (I also just want more tanks, because treads go brrr)

I know Kreig will get unique units of their own but I think some of it, may just be upgrade sprues but on a different level, like upgrades for weapons and vehicles. The Militarum range is so large and a good chunk of it is still in resin I know they are gonna clean house on that range. Move more things to plastic as they have been doing for HH and gut a lot of those models either to legends or permanently gone from the range. I also wouldnt compared Eldar to the BA or DA releases. GW seems to have its own pattern for releasing the space marine chapters. I would treat the next Eldar range like the previous one from 9th edition. Just an overall update to random models that need it and a couple new ones

I think new Warp Spiders will be sen first in the new KT edition.
I don't play KT, so I don't know the rules, how is it balanced? 10 Warp Spiders in 40k would wipe the floor with Veteran Guardsmen or Blooded Cultists. In a small environment like that the teleportation is deadly. No such luck in Boarding Patrol. It might take ages for the individual box, Mandrakes and Night Lords are still unavailable yet.
@@anophelesnow3957They will likely make it a 6 man kill team like with almost all space marine teams. It’s not specific to the box-size. Even like the Veteran Guardsmen, they have 14 with their ancillary support.
I just spent a year using the kill team kit to build a full guard army. As well as converting FoB and rough riders. Guess that was a waste of time
Elder i hope for a massive range refresh with new models that we know by lora but dont have in game yet. Guards i hope we get massive range like more death korps so you can do 3k points of them, make flyers better for them etc.

Swooping Hawks will be held for a Killteam release. The Fire Dragons look serviceable still, but then GW redid the Howling Banshees (which still looked great at the time). Jumping Spiders are pretty popular, so i'd be surprised if they didn't get a new sculpt in the next wave of releases.
I am holding out hope we might see a new aspect shrine pop up, either a brand new one or the Shadow Spectres (along with Phoenix Lord Irillyth). Another Autarch kit with bits from the new aspect shrine releases would be nice as well.
I'm also hoping GW does a Fallen Phoenix/Arhra release for the Dark Eldar.
Probably not getting Exodites until the next edition of Killteam is through.
Arhra is literally Drazhar though, and is one of the very few Drukhari models to have seen an update in the last 10 years.

I would really like a return to more modular sprues - its next to impossible to swap arms, weapons etc these days.
I remember making a cool squad if troopers using leftover cadian bits with waryames factory shock troops.

They need to completely rework Pjoenix Lords so they are primarch-level as their lore states instead of squad lieutenants level
They've been heavily nerfed in lore over time to make the Eldar seem weaker. Now they aren't the original bodies, they've reincarnated through their armour a bunch of times besides Maugan Ra. It's stupid but it is what it is.

While I'm expecting most of the remaining aspects to return, I have my doubts about spiders, mostly due to the fact that they are still on their first ever model and while there's been jump generators in couple kits (corsairs and new autarch) they didn't any rules for those in the game.
I'm hoping that I'm wrong but given GWs cutting policy they might be on list along with yriel, the sniper dude and forgeworld stuff.

I think models that are marked "online only" are on the chopping block as a new codex comes out. I think the leman Russ and falcon will be sent to legends as they become "primarised" with the rogal dorn and a tbd eldar vehicle.

@@TEPMARMYto be fair, that would be the kind of mad lad move I could see GW making. Legends a tank that every guard player has so they have to replace all of their tanks. People would hate them for it and it would cause an uproar that makes female custodes look like mild agitation but a lot of people would buy replacement kits.
Keep some of the unique Kreig tanks/vehicles like the Ragnarok, otherwise it's just Cadians with different clothing.
Personally want heavy weapons and death riders more than anything else. Will be happy with most anything though cause krieg is why I’m in the hobby.
