Hey guys, just wondering what external battery pack you used? Does it have to be the Biolite branded ones or anything you like?? Just got the 425 and its not clear what i can use. Thanks
It can be any battery pack as long as you have the correct cord to plug it in. We are using a simple 6400mAH battery pack made by Anker which is going on 7 years old.
Did I misunderstand? Why would anyone want to use Regulated mode that dims over time? I'm using this because I need the light; Not because I'm being put to bed

They do it to extend the runtime but it can be a pain. On the Biolite 750 you can turn it off but it does drastically reduce the runtime.
