- SPICY TAMARIND JUICE DIPPING SAUCE

Ingredients:
8-10 red cili padi
8-10 green cili padi
20-25 shallots
1 ripen tomato
2 tbsp brown/palm sugar
2 tbsp belacan powder/2” toasted belacan cube
200-250ml thick tamarind juice
Salt to taste
Steps:
Chop the cili padi, shallots and tomatoes. You may even crush the cili padi in a mortar pestle for a more spicier effect 🌶️🌶️🌶️🤣😂.
Now, put it in a bowl and add in the remaining ingredients. Mix well and serve this awesome dipping sauce with any fried or grilled food like fish, chicken wings, spring rolls, herbs (daun ulam, scallions, cilantro), rice crackers 👍👍👍
Storage Tips: Refrigerate for 5-6 days.
Note: Sugar is added to balance the acidity in the tamarind juice 👌
