I haven't yet heard anyone mention that it's clear what really happened versus what happened in Sheldon's mind. They show what's happened, but then there is a voice over, stating what's in Sheldon's mind. There are too many events, including his parents' private conversations and bedroom activities he would have known nothing about.
I cracked up when I saw Reagan's Instagram post of Lance attending his own funeral as "Georgina." I couldn't believe that I missed such a hilarious moment on my first watch.
Wdym "couldn't believe"? Not noticing a person who has been dressed completely differently from usual in a big crowd of people that was shown for like a few seconds during the episode seems extremely plausible
Seeing TBBT cast as kids and the song Someday, We’ll be Together just made me cry….it was sad but also a feeling of joy knowing the love of his other family is out there waiting for him and for each other.
Me too… cause young Sheldon was sad 😔 and it was comforting to know that he would not be a neuron (I think that’s the word he describes himself as - as alone forever). It was nice 😊 seeing the TBBT cast all young. 😅
I suspect that might be the favorite episode for many. Imagine all the time it took to cast those kids and create those sets where each had just a couple of seconds screen time.
I love that Dire Strait's "Walk of Life" plays when Sheldon arrives at Caltech, just as it did in the opening scene of the first episode. Talk about a perfect bookend.
@YoungMrBlue no, Walk of Life played at the start of the first episode of Young Sheldon, not The Big Bang Theory. And then it was put in the end of the last episode
I wish they would make a spin off series of every single one of their childhoods 🤗 They all have such interesting histories and complex relationships with their parents, siblings, bullies, etc. I would absolutely love that 😩
That's an awesome idea. Even if it were for just one season and only two episodes per person would be great! The most fascinating IMO would be Leonard's life. His mother was such a tool.
What I love is how they add the family in the opening credits and especially the other change in the opening titles. Initially the solo sheldon and then later the family all look at the cow and then later the bull and they all step to the side but in the last season Georgie shoos the cow away. It's a foreshadowing of how Georgie had to take over the role of man of the house after George Snr dies.

While Sheldon did talk badly about his father he also often spoke fondly of him. Missing him. The later episodes spoke more positively of him . With one of his father speeches motivating Sheldon to keep trying for that Nobel. The whole monster father scenario is a made up character developed by the fandom because as soon as they hear a complaint about a parent. They automatically assume the worst. Like to project on the show. Nowhere on the Big Bang theory has Sheldon truly suggested his father was a monster.
Yes, I noticed something. The clip of Penny is a little girl. All sprawled out in bed was the same way that Missy was all sprawled out in bed when Mary was praying over Sheldon and Sheldon said Missy needs it more than Mary said. Don't you think I started with her. Then the camera goes over to Missy in bed and she is sprawled the exact same way.
Young raj would be a bit difficult considering they'd have to get entirely indian actors and they couldn't make too many jokes about india or they'd get cancelled
@@mappingshaman5280 if they toned them down a lot and if there were some here and there, I think it would be fine. But yeah definitely not nearly as much as Big Bang
My jaw dropped when you pointed out that the kids were shown in the same order that they were introduced on tbbt. I'm the biggest fan of both these shows and I have rewatched that scene so many times but it never occurred to me.
There was a number of things I saw in Sheldon‘s office besides the DNA structure and the train set. There was also the library catalog holder that had been in the show even dating back to the original pilot that was from 2006. That ended up getting deleted, and I also noticed the radio that he had as a kid when he was listening to the Nobel prize Announcement and I also noticed the lamp from his bedroom and of course the classic couch that Leonard bought from a previous tenant that was moving for $100 back in 2003 which was when Sheldon met Leonard and surprisingly Sheldon has saved every laptop and computer that he’s ever bought of the exception of the red Dell laptop, which got stolen along with Leonard’s laptop when Sheldon and Leonard had an apartment break-in
Has anyone noticed these small details in Young Sheldon- 14 Cast members of the show starred in various other Movies and Shows For Example Iain Armitage provided the voice for Chase from PAW Patrol: The Movie Both Jim Parsons and Brian Stepanek starred in a Dreamworks movie called Home Both Annie Potts and Wallace Shawn starred in the Toy Story Franchise Craig T Nelson provided the voice for Mr. Incredible Wendie Malick portrayed Dr. Rubin in Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel Steve Burns was the original host for Blue's Clues Ed Begley Jr starred in M.A.S.H McKenna Grace provided the voice for Skye from PAW Patrol 2: The Mighty Movie Reba McEntire provided the voice for Betsy from Live Action Charlotte's Web Richard Kind provided the voice for Bookworm from Toy Story 3 Bill Faggerbakke provides the voice for Patrick from Spongebob Octavia Spencer provided the voice for Mrs. Otterton from Zootopia
The only PROBLEM with both shows is at 8 minutes you discuss all the friends in order we see in TBBT, BUT Penny is shown asleep in her bed at the same age as the rest of the kids at 8 minutes, YET Penny was far younger than Lennerd in TBBT
@@Jeff-zn9cj info from a post i found on their ages on the first episode of Big Bang "The Pilot aired on September 24, 2007. So, going off of their birthdays, we get... Sheldon - 27 (DOB: February 26, 1980) Leonard - 27 (DOB: May 17, 1980) Howard - 26 (DOB: Unknown, between March 1 - September 30, 1981) Raj - 25 (DOB: October 6, 1981) Penny - 21 (DOB: September December 2, 1985)"
I was blown away that Mary Cooper is Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry's daughter. Also the blossom reference, as Mayim Bialik is also on BBT. I watched YS before BBT (which I only started today) so many of these were lost on me. For example, when YS showed the BBT cast as kids, I just thought they were other random smart kids.
The song playing in the back ground in the last episode where sheldon is at caltec is infact the main song in the film series National Lampoon. Leonard actor played the lad in the film series.
One you may have missed if I’m correct is the girl who played the child version of Amy reading on her bed is the same girl who plays Dustin’s girl friend in stranger things.
Wow I finally found out something I didn't know about either TBBT or Young Sheldon, like I didn't know the woman who plays Young Sheldon's mom is also the daughter of Laurie Metcalf, but it does make sense, seeing she reminded me so much of her mom, not only looking a lot like her when she was young, but sounding like her as well and with mannerisms. Zoe Perry is a great actress too, I hope to see her in more shows and movies in the future. I also enjoyed finding out that the actor that played George Sr sat in on his characters funeral dressed as a woman, that's funny. I really cried my eyes out during the episode where he died and his funeral, also the end of the show in general. I really didn't want it to end. I really loved the show as much as I did The Big Bang Theory itself, and miss both. Though I am currently rewatching TBBT, though I only finished the series back in October, but it's only been a couple weeks since I finished Young Sheldon, so I will be waiting on that for awhile. And I can't believe I didn't realize the voice of the water in the pool was Kaley/Penny, that's funny!
One thing I thought was off about the Nobel Prize party episode that showed the montage was that Penny, although shown as younger than Sheldon & Leonard, would have been a toddler at the oldest. They had Penny around Bernadette's age Penny was more than a decade younger than the guys and Amy she was only about 5 years younger than Bernadette. So that montage should have been 12 y/o Sheldon, 12 y/o Leonard, infant/toddler Penny, 12 y/o Howard, 12 y/o Raj, 5-6 y/o Bernadette, and 12 y/o Amy.
I just realized, TBBT first released on September 24, 2007 while Young Sheldon released on September 25, 2017. Both shows ended on May 16. Interesting.
its just me or other people out there want a sequel about georgie? dude is so chill and easy going. and he become a super massive tire salesman the entire texas!
I love how every video that claims to have Young Sheldon facts most didn't know mention the mother on Young Sheldon is the actress who played her in Big Bang Theory's daughter. People have been pointing that out since season 1, we all know that.
In Season 1, and maybe the rest of YS, when anyone talks about George's impending death, Sheldon is always sitting in the place he was in the kitchen when he last sees George in Season 7.
Wait if it’s a memory and he says “these are our memories” (haven’t watched it yet) does that mean someone told him some of these memories that didn’t involve him? Did he call people up? I’m gonna think that in my heart
I think old Sheldon only comments on the stuff that involves him, the stuff not involving him is storytelling and not part of his Memoirs in my headcanon.
S. 5.E. 22 | In Sheldon's dream about his pimple (in which he himself is all parts of the family), the magician “Teller” can be seen as “Pus” at the very end. But he is also... Amy's dad in BBT
I yes indeed I DID spot something you missed! This is awesome! I'm kind of a compulsive prime checker, that this, whenever I see a number, I have to check and see if it's prime. I check license plate numbers, addresses, etc. Tonight I decided to check out their address. Remember in The Big Bang Theory when Sheldon asks what everyone's favorite number is? He tells them his is 73, because it's the 21st prime number, and its inverse, 37 is the 12th prime number (the inverse of 21). Guess what their address is? It's 2701 which is 73x37! Nice touch, guys! Edit: Now that I've gone back to find that scene, I;ve been unable to do so, and all of the other scenes that show an address who it as 5906 (59 something, I think 06). If anyone else can give me the episode with the Easter egg,e I;d appreciate it. It's go to be one of the early ones.
💯🤔 I wonder if people realize Cal-Tech is the hardest school to get into the nation only 3% hardest school to get into👍🏼 most Pulitzer prize winners graduated
I wish they would make another show featuring sheldon as a dad and this time we follow his dumb son and we watch how his patience and understanding as a father grows as he raises his not so smart children. Would really show how much he will appreciate how patient and caring george was with him.
I hate when my favorite shows gets canceled, especially before their time is up. I think we still had a good 3 years out of this show, even if Sheldon wasn't going to be the main character because all the other characters were so good they could have kept it going.
@@SWalkerTTU I seriously doubt any of the main cast from Young Sheldon other than Georgie and Mandy will be there. They might make a few guest appearances from time to time (like Amy's and Howard's guest appearances).
Hard to argue with that. Shame we only saw her twice. Mr. Lundy was a good teacher too. He taught drama and got Sheldon excited about drama which is hard to do.
You didn't list one other series crossover: the scientist who lectured at the museum when Sheldon and Paige were there was also at dinner when Amy had her guest spot at Princeton and her colleagues took Amy to dinner.

Her from the Wonder Years is a mathematician and was also featured in TBBT's University Mingle night
I hope they do a “ Young “ show of each of the main BBT characters as children. The one I want to see most is Young Leonard
A young Howard or Mary would be great too
Young raj would be a bit difficult considering they'd have to get entirely indian actors and they couldn't make too many jokes about india or they'd get cancelled
@@mappingshaman5280 if they toned them down a lot and if there were some here and there, I think it would be fine. But yeah definitely not nearly as much as Big Bang
I adored this series, it’s sweet, funny and touching. The whole cast are excellent. I think I only got to s4 on TBBT…..😅
That ended up getting deleted, and I also noticed the radio that he had as a kid when he was listening to the Nobel prize Announcement and I also noticed the lamp from his bedroom and of course the classic couch that Leonard bought from a previous tenant that was moving for $100 back in 2003 which was when Sheldon met Leonard and surprisingly Sheldon has saved every laptop and computer that he’s ever bought of the exception of the red Dell laptop, which got stolen along with Leonard’s laptop when Sheldon and Leonard had an apartment break-in
I hope Georgie and Mandy’s show contains Easter eggs
Should’ve been Young Leonard next lol
Me too
Please clue me into what's the Easter eggs reference? I'm a HUGE BBT and YS fan, but I have no idea? Thanks!
@@YoungMrBlueyoung leonard would put us all in depression thanks to beverly
Fun fact the song Walks of life played by Dire Straits is played both in the pilot and season 7 finale of Young Sheldon.
I love it when tbbt characters come in de serrie when they we're kids
Has anyone noticed these small details in Young Sheldon- 14 Cast members of the show starred in various other Movies and Shows
For Example
Iain Armitage provided the voice for Chase from PAW Patrol: The Movie
Both Jim Parsons and Brian Stepanek starred in a Dreamworks movie called Home
Both Annie Potts and Wallace Shawn starred in the Toy Story Franchise
Craig T Nelson provided the voice for Mr. Incredible
Wendie Malick portrayed Dr. Rubin in Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel
Steve Burns was the original host for Blue's Clues
Ed Begley Jr starred in M.A.S.H
McKenna Grace provided the voice for Skye from PAW Patrol 2: The Mighty Movie
Reba McEntire provided the voice for Betsy from Live Action Charlotte's Web
Richard Kind provided the voice for Bookworm from Toy Story 3
Bill Faggerbakke provides the voice for Patrick from Spongebob
Octavia Spencer provided the voice for Mrs. Otterton from Zootopia
Ed begley jr starred in st elsewhere . He was in just one episode of masH
Cause they love him 😊
If a show like friends exists & a show like modern family exists. Than make a sequel to tbbt!!!!! We want ittttt
I definitely missed the sofa and pillow in Sheldon's office
Happy monday afternoon, Emily. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Young Sheldon starts with the song Dire straits Walk Of Line and ends with the same song.
The only PROBLEM with both shows is at 8 minutes you discuss all the friends in order we see in TBBT, BUT Penny is shown asleep in her bed at the same age as the rest of the kids at 8 minutes, YET Penny was far younger than Lennerd in TBBT
How much younger?

I was blown away that Mary Cooper is Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry's daughter. Also the blossom reference, as Mayim Bialik is also on BBT. I watched YS before BBT (which I only started today) so many of these were lost on me. For example, when YS showed the BBT cast as kids, I just thought they were other random smart kids.
Yes,im going to rewatch
the big bang theory😁
Why?it's horrible
The song playing in the back ground in the last episode where sheldon is at caltec is infact the main song in the film series National Lampoon. Leonard actor played the lad in the film series.
I know one detail I did notice on Young Sheldon and that would be my thoughts of Sheldon meeting his future self was all for nothing
Card catalog cabinet from BBT living room background, sitting just outside Sheldon's office as they're walking out.
"You lost?" I heard Leonard.
I love Joey Lawrence in tv series Melissa and Joey. Also in a movie My fake fiance. 🙂
If im not mistaken, the puberty pimple scene. The pus was Amy's dad
Wasn't the pus/pimple either SISKEL or EMERT ?¿ The T.V. critics😮❤?¿
At 10:33 you can see the card catalogue cabinet inside the doorway.
I remember that had been with the show since the original pilot that got deleted
Why are they laughing at dad? 😢 I’m so glad Georgie was there to tell Missy it was out of love. 😊
They are making a show about Georgie
@@jennasandonato7825 Thank you my stranger-youtube-citizen. I googled it and found out that the spinoff will be premiere in october. ☺
Okay, that was pretty cool.
You Amy is wearing the same the same nightgown. I recognise the fabric pattern.
I love this show
He isnt wearing his usual shirts at the end
1:31 she is very simikar to kaley cuoco, here!
I love this show
I love how every video that claims to have Young Sheldon facts most didn't know mention the mother on Young Sheldon is the actress who played her in Big Bang Theory's daughter. People have been pointing that out since season 1, we all know that.
I didn't know that and some other commenters didn't know that either.
Yes! I knew that before episode 1 of season 1
Except the blossom one
I dont know why people were surprised by the death. In tbbt sheldon said it happened when he was 14
The last two episodes are heart breaking, but it's a good ending
In Season 1, and maybe the rest of YS, when anyone talks about George's impending death, Sheldon is always sitting in the place he was in the kitchen when he last sees George in Season 7.
I did a mashup video with the kids being thanked by Sheldon is his Nobel speech.
HE STILL HAS THE COUCH !!!! thats my spot
Lance Barber Doesn't sound like George on Young Sheldon. But i think it's because of the vocals i'm not sure.
The adults all used a dialect coach. None of them sounds in real life like their characters.
I thought lances voice was the same as the show 😅 bu5 im like WHAT IS THAT THATS AI
💯🤔 I wonder if people realize Cal-Tech is the hardest school to get into the nation only 3% hardest school to get into👍🏼 most Pulitzer prize winners graduated
💯I know this because I graduated from there😮
The thing I never got is why Dr. Sturgis never mentioned?
Me too
I noticed all of this stuff
I wish they would make another show featuring sheldon as a dad and this time we follow his dumb son and we watch how his patience and understanding as a father grows as he raises his not so smart children. Would really show how much he will appreciate how patient and caring george was with him.
I was 7 when i watched the big bang theory and i thought i recconized the name
Another thing about the bulls, on the two episodes that cover George’s death, the bull is black, as to pay respect for his death.
I hate when my favorite shows gets canceled, especially before their time is up. I think we still had a good 3 years out of this show, even if Sheldon wasn't going to be the main character because all the other characters were so good they could have kept it going.
"Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage" is on the fall schedule. No word yet on who else might appear.
I think so too!
@@SWalkerTTU I seriously doubt any of the main cast from Young Sheldon other than Georgie and Mandy will be there. They might make a few guest appearances from time to time (like Amy's and Howard's guest appearances).
But the show’s name is young Sheldon what else would be called young Sheldon without Sheldon 😂😂
Hard disagree. They wrapped the show up perfectly.
I always said how similar the Mary’s were in young Sheldon and big bang. I just thought it was great acting! I had no idea she was her daughter!!
The Music teacher was the best teacher at the High School.
Hard to argue with that. Shame we only saw her twice.
Mr. Lundy was a good teacher too. He taught drama and got Sheldon excited about drama which is hard to do.
einstein shape at the board 10:11
Top 20 Sherman Brothers songs?
You didn't list one other series crossover: the scientist who lectured at the museum when Sheldon and Paige were there was also at dinner when Amy had her guest spot at Princeton and her colleagues took Amy to dinner.
I'm guessing that bull turned into a brisket for George
Another easter egg I found is that Young Sheldon show starts and ends with the same song.
My favorite.. was that the knocking story of his father cheating, was not another woman.. it was his mother dressed up XD
Bull swapped to black to foreshadow george's death
That was a steer, not a bull.
You got something wrong in reference between the big bang theory and youngsheldon sheldon's dad did not cheat it was mary cooper dressed up as helda.. 😅
yes, but sheldon didn't know that. he just told the story from his memory. and in his mind, he never knew that was his mom dressed up.
didnt amy do most of the math fact checking on the tbbt?
I've never heard of that. Most of the fact-checking was done by that guy who did the professor who asked Sheldon if he was lost
@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl oh idk i heard the actors took a extra pay cut for amy cuz she did most of the math and fact checking
