When we saw the bbt gang as kids it was a great way to bid farewell to these characters given that it aired the same night we bid farewell to them as a group
Also when Sheldon arrives at cal tech in the finale and when the same song that played at the beginning of the series it really brought the whole show full circle
I love how gleeful Missy was at seeing Sheldon back in his bed, and didn't hesitate to hug him. Though the twins have little in common, it makes the moments where they openly show affection all the more impactful.
as a twin. i’ve definitely tried to do telepathy with my sister. people have asked if they hurt her if ill feel it and i say “i dont know try harder.” so they’ll pinch her or something and ill just start laughing.
Georgie had the best character development. He transitioned from being a high school dropout, to being a committed family man and successful businessman. In the finale, he seamlessly steps into being the "Man of the House", showing how becoming a father and George's untimely passing matured him.
It doesn’t get mentioned much anywhere, but the entire episode where George is taking Missy to a baseball game and Missy has to stop at a pharmacy because she started her first period. What an amazing daughter/daddy moment. At first George displayed just the right amount of discomfort and cluelessness, and eventually stepping up to the plate to help his daughter. The entire episode was priceless.
Young Sheldon is one of those rare spinoffs that can match or exceed the show that it spun off from in memorable moment and characters. I'm going to miss it.
Another one of these moments for me is when George helps Sheldon make his video presentation that convinces Mary to let him go to East Texas Tech. Considering how livid George was with Mary for deciding on their son's future without his input, it was really sweet how he set his own hurt feelings aside to help Mary see that college was the next logical step for their son, while also comforting her as she came to terms with giving Sheldon more independence.
For me, one of the best moments involves George Sr , when Veronica's abusive stepfather shows up at Cooper's house to take her away, and George Sr knocks him out in an istant, making her feel safe and protected like in a real family and from a real dad. It's a shame that Veronica is barely seen afterwards. I love Mandy, but George Jr's romance with Veronica could have worked.
Doing all of these segments made me watch the show. Two spoilers: one flash back, one flash Forward: seeing the flash forward to Sheldon's future friends and wife, was super wholesome, no wonder it was #1. This also wasn't much of a happy cry, but when they flashed back to the Red Lobster scene during the Series finale, I SOBBED so much. Great job, Phoebe!
i only watched this show through purely youtube shorts and honestly from what i've seen, it's one of the best sitcoms ever and i'd enjoy it much more than bbt. the characters feel real and the casting is INSANELY amazing--all the actors feel so real and are incredibly talented, especially the kids.
Young Sheldon is , for me at least, a better show than TBBT. When I heard there will be a spin-off/prequel about Sheldon's childhood I was skeptical, very, very skeptical. I believed that it would be poorly made to capitalize on fans love for the og series. Boy, am I glad that I was so wrong. The family, acting, writing is superb. No bad characters here, just people with flaws seen from eyes of a young, intelligent but not great on social behaviour kid. And Jim Parsons's narration only adds flavour to it. My "cry happy" moment was when Sheldon sat alone listening to Nobel Prize ceremony and camera showed younger versions of TBBT cast. Hope that Georgie and Mandy show will be good.
#6 was my favorite. He knew his son was going into panic mode but he coached him up like a real born father would and got him to conquer his fear and ride through the plane with no problem
After they aired the season ending where Missy has the fight with Sheldon before he leaves for Germany, and she and George survive the tornado, I called my brother to apologize for being a pain the the @ss big sister.
Out of all of these Top 10 Young Sheldon Moments, my most favorite moment of all time is, 🥹“Sheldon‘s Graduation Speech!!!”🥹 Aww!!! I had tears of joy when Sheldon dedicated his graduation speech to his twin sister Missy! That very friendly look on Missy‘s face as she smiles really was so sweet! It was the very best most heartwarming beautiful moment ever on the show! It’s always wonderful to dedicate a very special speech to a very special member of your family, especially when you always find heartfelt ways to let your loved ones know how much they really mean to you! 🤗🥰😍😘💕💞 What a beautiful video this is MsMojo! Thank you so very much for posting this video! You’re the very best! I really love this video so very much! 👍😉
You know I skipped watching the last season as I was sure that I wouldn't be able to handle George's death. But little did I know that I would have to live this episode for real in my life shortly and I wasn't given a choice to skip it.
I think what struck me the most is George listening to Sheldon when they were trapped in the hotel room. You can see even though George doesn't understand what Sheldon says, he's trying simply because he knows it's important to Sheldon. Another is when he and Missy were caught in a tornado and after the danger passes, she just falls apart. He's there for her and knows what she means without even asking.
one thing that i loved the most about young sheldon is how they stitched the holes of bigbang Sheldon's grief. as the young sheldon ends he admitted that he didn't recover from the grief it was subconsciously suppressed later on bigbang theory the grief resurface as he talks about his father's shortcomings the grief is also the reason whenever he lie there's sudden change on his behaviour like small pause he's also possessive overly attached on people he's afraid to be left behind just like his father's sudden unexpected passing without the whole gang on bigbang theory helped to heal Sheldon's grief he wouldn't be writing a memoir and there wouldn't be young sheldon show
The lobster place moment was Missy's last happy thoughts with her dad when she was young that was her happy thought when she was at her dads funeral that made me cry
I came to think that you forgot the young future friends scene, but it was #1 !! This is my first also : I was close to cry when I discovered it on TV. Mention to the storm scene in the car between George and Missy, too. George (and Goergie) had great characters evolution in that show.
The scene when georgie storms off after he finds out no one in his house kept the baby thing a secret nd missy feels bad nd goes to talk to him.. She comforts him as he freaks out that he doesn't know what he's doing nd georgie goes "don't make me cry" nd missy makes it lighter by saying "that's the last nice thing I'll ever say to you"! 🥹🥹
In the part whare Sheldon removed his mitten he mentioned that he didn’t touch Georgie’s hand until 2006 where they shook hands and that was the last time they talk to each other for a while, which was right before the Big Bang theory first started, and they didn’t talk until the wedding episode
This sitcom is like my white noise.. no matter what I'm doing, I have the original series or your video playing in the background 😢 something is seriously wrong with me 😂
My favorite relationship in this series is George SR. with his family and Georgie with Mandy, they are easily the most healthy in the series and show what a family should be
Missy has really grown on me as a character Initially falling into the cliche sassy younger sibling category for me I really enjoy how overtime, she began to be more open to going to her brother Sheldon for advice
That conversation that Mee Maw had with Missy about her birth stands as one of the most surprising moments ever on the show. 2:26 Of course Sheldon didn't hear her. There was no "Twin telepathy." George heard her and he heard the other women in the house saying they wanted Sheldon home, so he got him. Missy was fast asleep when they got home, so she didn't see how it all happened. Because of that and her lack of intelligence, she assumed that Sheldon heard her. Sheldon holding his dad's hand was awesome. Yeah, Sheldon didn't really understand his dad when he was a child. In fairness, most of us don't understand our parents when we are children. Sheldon's growth is admirable. The airplane moment should have been higher on the list. That was Lance Barber's favorite moment. George teaching Missy how to throw a baseball was a nice moment... until she ruined the moment a couple of times at the end of the episode. Sheldon believing in mom is iconic in the Pilot and the finale is iconic. Georgie and Mandy naming their daughter was a great moment. Sheldon's graduation speech is one of my favorite episodes of all time. Missy hugging Sheldon should be on here instead of the "telepathy" moment Mary hugging Missy disproves Missy's theory that her mom didn't care about her. Mary hugging George was a good one. I find it silly that Georgie hung up Missy's assignment on his own wall instead of letting her hang it up on hers, but she was okay with it. Maybe because Sheldon was still living in her room and she didn't want him to see it because he would have made her feel worse, so she actually wanted it on Georgie's wall. Veronica dropped the ball. She learned that when you punch a boy and then expecting him to be your boyfriend isn't the smartest move. I wasn't heartwarmed by anything Georgie did for her. I think we all knew what #1 was going to be. No arguments from any of us, either.
Interestingly, the scenes of grown-up Sheldon in the last episode show that today's Jim Parsons looks like first season's Lance Barber enough as to they seeming related. Curious feat of right casting.
wish my dad was there for me like Misdys dad was but shot himself to death and my step dad was their but later in my life and didnt appreciatw ite it as i should have
you do not get baptized for not believing . They did this all wrong and Mary should had known better. You do not force you beliefs on someone else. She just used God for her own purposes.

I only said "aww" at best

The season 6 finale with Missy and George sr in the tornado. Loved that scene.
I agree, especially after they pan over to the car. I thought that’d be in the top 3. Can’t believe it didn’t even make the list.
I’m glad they survived because if they didn’t I would have cried but later in season 7 George dies which is sad 😔
The part where missy started crying made me cry some happy tears
the one that made me cry was when Missy hugged Sheldon when he was crying, that moment really got me.

Sheldon restoring his mom Mary's faith in God. The "You're the perfect mom to me" moment.

I loved the Missy character. She was funny and more a free spirit. I didn't watch the show for Sheldon. I watch to see what George and Missy would do.
Is it something like, you came for Sheldon but stayed for his siblings?

It's a very different show. They're both great in their own way
@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl YS is better though. It relies much less on stereotypes, the cast is more balanced and there's no laugh track.
Aww that is why adult Sheldon speaks to Leonard through the wall all the time before bed. It's like he's his twin.
