There's a simple answer to India's opposition to Pak joining BRICS. BRICS is an alliance of developing/developed countries who are ambitious of trading b/w themselves. Pakistan neither has market nor any industry for trading. So what benefit would Pak serve joining BRICS ?

Indians compare themselves with china, that china is so developed. Chinese also went to foreign country, but they came back and contributed to their homeland. Indians just compare and complain, rather then doing anything about it. So mindset have to change. First target should be developed Rather than superpower. Everyones mindset have to change. The whole point of BRICS is to create an alternate to the western system, which requires major economic powers or major resource powers. Pakistan is neither of those two so serves no purpose in BRICS.
