Pakistan began its post-partition journey by joining multiple military alliances led by the United States. But in the decades afterwards, Islamabad forged an “iron brotherhood” with Communist China. Pakistan’s first prime minister Liaquat Ali Khan recognised the Communist regime in 1950, the first Muslim country to do so. The Chinese regime supported Pakistan in its wars against India and also supplied materials and blueprints for Pakistan’s nuclear programme. First, it was done over a very long period of 200+ years. Not all in one go. And it was the British policies and laws implemented that killed 1.8 billion Indians, not that they were executed
The two main policies that wiped out 1.8 billion Indians are:
1: Allocation of food: Since the British were at war all the time, they didn't have people to do the farming. They made India do agriculture and then take it away. causing a massive famine every week.
2: Plundering of India's natural resources The British forced Indians to mine all the natural minerals in their country and carry them to the ports to be shipped back to England every day. extremely dangerous jobs, and these poor Indians weren't fed, and hundreds of millions succumbed to the exhaustion.
The whole of India was ruled by only a handful of Britishers. Why India chose to never fight back baffles many to this day. Maybe India is just obedient by nature.
Drawing upon my expertise in the behaviors and nesting habits of Indians, I can definitively state that Indians did not resist the invaders; instead, the invaders, including the British and various others, eventually withdrew when there is nothing left but a population of one billion Indians grappling with poverty and illiteracy-a challenging situation that nobody was eager to tackle.
The 45 trillion dollars that were taken mainly consist of natural resources. If you look at India's current mineral deposits, most are completely depleted (that's why India imports their minerals instead of producing them themselves; they have nothing left). The British forced Indians to mine and carry those minerals and resources to the sea port so they could be sent back to England every single day for 200 years. The U.S. and U.K. infrastructure was pretty much built from not only India's natural minerals but also India's blood, sweat, and even lives (countless Indians died working in the mines all day with less than a portion of grain in their stomachs).
1.8 Billion makes sense. India today on average loses 10 million people per year due to natural cause or illness. So in 200 years they would lose 10million x 200 years = 2 billion people. Imagine 1757 - 1947 times when India didn't have any healthcare like today and life expectancy was much much shorter with mass malnourish (Bengal Famine + 15,763 other major famines) and were forced to work to their very bones losing their lives in the process.
Pakistan Showed their neighbour they can't simply bully them anymore.

The reason that China did not attack India along with Pakistan in 1971 was because of the Chinese defeat in 1967. The hubris about China's military power was broken owing to swift and decisive actions taken in 1967 which wasn't the case during 1962. If anyone is interested in knowing more about this, I suggest the book, "Watershed 1967" by Probal DasGupta.

Dear Palki, you make me laugh, in 1971 war, Chinese intervention in support of Pakistan was forestalled by a Soviet nuclear threat to Beijing. The U S has released from its archives old documents, which reveal that the CIA recruited three Afghans to kill the first PM of Pakistan, Liaqat Ali Khan, in 1951. The reason: Iran had nationalized oil industry, U S wanted the PM to use his influence over Iran for their oil interests, which Liaqat Ali Khan refused, hence he was assassinated. In 1965 Pakistan would have easily reached Delhi, American pressure stopped it. North India has always the upper hand, from Ashoka the great(Punjabi ruler) to all those conguerors from the north have ruled whole of India, Pakistan will have always the upper hand.
1. Liaqat Ali Khan was killed by an Afghan who wanted NWFP ( present day KP) to merge with Afghanistan. These regions were Pashtun ancestral land first captured by Ranjit Singh and later annexed by the British. The sentiment of Afghans then and now is to reclaim that land and re-establish Peshawar as their winter capital, like in the days of Ahmad Shah Durrani. It doesn't make any sense for the US to assassinate the Pak PM for some oil issue in Iran when they could have instead done regime change in Iran itself, which is what they did. However the Mossadegh removal operation was mainly carried out by MI-5 under Churchill's directive since the oil rights were with BP (British Petroleum).
2. In 1965 both India and Pak were using American weaponry and both countries ran out of ammunition and the US embargoed both. However both USSR and US pressured both countries to stop the war. Indian Army reached Lahore outskirts ( not a big deal since it is only about 60 km from the border) but Pak army was not even able to cut off the Jammu-Srinagar highway. Would've-Could've reached Delhi is like saying if you wanted you could have dated Taylor Swift, just a mastubatory fantasy.
3. Northern India is East Punjab and Rajasthan to Bihar, mostly the gangetic plain and Himalayan hill country.The Mauryans were centered in Pataliputra, modern day Patna in Bihar. Chandragupta met Alexander in the Punjab because he was in exile at that time, not because he was Punjabi. Like Porus most of the Punjabi leaders throughout history has happily surrendered to whoever invaded through the Khyber. All the battles the invaders fought were called the Battle(s) of Panipat. Panipat is a town just north west of Delhi. The people there might have lost many times, but at least they resisted. The people in West Punjab instead send their women to greet and pleasure the invading armies.If you look at the last 1000 years history, the core of present day Pakistan (West Punjab and Sind) have always been controlled from either Delhi or from the Pashtun badlands of Ghazni-Ghor-Kabul. The only exception to this was the 40 year rule of Ranjit Singh, but Ranjit Singh was able to draw upon soldiers from Eastern Punjab and rest of Northern India.
