I found that the upgraded and seled gk24 shocks where worth it if you have a bouncy surface or want to go a bit faster. the largest GK24 tyres can also be put over the mini-z 4x4 tyres (like slippers) for a very nice grip upgrade
I wouldn't have counted the high centering against the GK24 considering the Kyosho has bigger tires. If the GK24 had the same size tires it would have performed even better. The only thing I would give the Kyosho over the GK24 is it's top speed.
