I love how the cheap RC cars always have cool things like gyros, moving lights and other cool stuff but if you want that on your hobby grade Traxxas, you need to pay $100.
I’ve found the best way to make these drift smoothly is gyro at 25%, turn in to get sliding using the steering but then control the slide with the throttle. If you try to use the steering during the drift it becomes unstable.
These little cars are as good as they get for the money. I pd $44.00 US (delivered) several weeks ago. My review should be done this weekend. I’ve got the nsx coming too! They certainly have made some strides from their last version. Would love o see even more retro body styles come out, Supra, conquest TSI, scirocco… would be so cool!😎😎😎
You can turn on hazard lights if you hold down the C button until it beeps btw
That’s one of the strangest little transmitters I’ve ever seen. The NSX is the nuts looking tho. 👍🏻
I had the same issue on my power drive drift truck I got from tractor supply. Once the tires got scuffed up a bit it was a drifting machine.
Don't think I've ever said it, love your videos and base alot of my purchases off of them, thanks for what you do.

Glad you got the hang of drifting it, must admit i have been looking at these (as you know)
I have a 1:1 rx7 FC so I had to get this and I too was surprised by the adjustments. I found full gyro on and I took the toe in out of the rear wheels and let the gyro do the work and it slides pretty decent.

I got about 40 RCs, and this is what Im using the most lately.
SO much fun for so little!! Love it so much I also bought the AE86 with the current electronics (with a gyro): LD1801. Totally recommended!!
I'm about to buy one too and like the ae86. So is the LD1801 the best as I have the 1802 ae86 in the basket? Thanks

On the 15th day of Christmas Santa dude gave to me an rc drift..now I am doing curly donuts around the Christmas tree 🌲
They look cool but need proper radio gear and my be different motor but they look so cool with the pop up lights all so try putting the suspension limiters on the rear and not on the front 👍if you whatch rc drifting you see the front sways a lot more then the rear looks awesome when the going round you can see the movement in the car when they transitions from left to right and dipping while braking
I got one it’s ok for what it is. Nice if it came with rubber tires. Other models do. And hood scoop is off center. Looks great stand still 👍🏽
Obviously you need to be able to drift one handed, because you need the other hand to operate the indicator
actually the indicator seemed to be based on gyro rather than inputs? seems to properly indicate the way you're turning despite the full opposite lock
Tweekers love RX-7s! 😆 I like the Trueno version though, classic hatch body.

Could you make a video on how to adjust the tirea? My rear passenger is hardly touching the ground but on the outside edge. I get how to do it but would be way more comfortable watching some1 do it first

With a 3 wire servo you could easily make this a cool indoor drifter for a kid

I have this RX7, well worth the money, a taste of RWD drifting which is so different than AWD that I was really surprised.
I am putting a different gyro on mine (it is possible to turn off the internal gyro).
and the Honda looks so good I might get another one too.
how did you turn off the gyro?
pres long on two bottom buttons (lights and gyro)

All lithium should be storage loaded when not in use.
No matter if its RTR or other batteries.
That's what I thought, but the ones that come with batteries usually come with USB charges. Do they expect people to buy better chargers?

Could you also try the * SNT Niva 1:43 Enano * . I think it has the same chasis but with a different controller + body + FPV.
I'm considering to buy one, but i'm not sure which one is better (other than FPV too).

Could you review a brand called beggar? I have one, called the HM164, goes about 22mph, about $130. It's pretty good. Comes with a brushless motor and 4WD.

Where did you buy it with a different gyro?
@Gamer7511 aliexpress. Ordered both the car and gyro from there. Theres a guy on yt whos modding one and found a gyro thats plug n play with it. The difference is absolutely insane

man I ordered one of these for christmas and the order got randomly canceled 2 weeks later. no indication as to why. I wish I could have gotten it to come in cuz it looks so dang cool

I want the rx7.. my buddy had a real 87 turbo rx7 in white. That was a fun car, 11000 rpm shifts, 13 second 1/4 mile, and funner than hell to drive on the street.
A naigbour when i where a kid had a red rx7 fd in 90s, it where cool as it had its own distingt style and sound.

One thing i don't like in cheap rc cars is that the wheels are not centered with the fenders , this is something that i hate in hobby rc cars, but here i see that the wheels are centered perfect and the body looks very nice for the price. I am not fun of drift but i like it to add in my very small collection of cheap rc cars . So yes i think i will buy one of these models. Seems that chinese have started to give an importance to the cheap rc cars, they are interested to make something that looks very nice. I like it even that i see cheap toy electronics that are proportional controlled. I didn't expect from the chinese to change mindset but seems that they doing very well for the price. Very nice and cute models for real.

I couldn’t get the controller to recognize the steering on mine. Everything else worked. So I guess I’ll never know how good of drifted. 🥺 good thing I didn’t spend a lot of money on it.
