Congratulations on your finish of Oh Joyous Day. It is beautiful. I love your idea of putting your children into the design. Your WIP's are wonderful, especially the 56 count. I love seeing Elizabeth Eyles on the wall behind you. Beautiful! Thank you for spreading the word about the Tennessee Samplers: Female Education and Domestic Arts 1800-1900. It is fabulous and every stitcher should be interested in it. As always, it is a pleasure to visit with you. Happy stitching. Best, K
Your little Santas on the plaid fabric are darling! I've never seen anything like them. The stocking choice for Aria is cute. I love all of the animals. Enjoy your stitching.
Yay, for your 56 count! You are doing great with it. ❤ Always lovely to spend time with you and see what you are up to. And your Quaker is looking great, too. 😊💛💛💛
Thank you for another lovely video. It's always fun to see what other people's projects. Plus, you are so soothing and full of encouragement. I feel like Little Jack Horner who stuck in his thumb and pulled out a plum!
Another plum of a flosstube! You really do stitch beautifully! Congratulations on your FFOs. You do a beautiful job! I need to FFO more. My under-the-bed box is getting full! Happy stitching!❤
Sarah such gorgeous stitching! Your Oh Joyous Day is really beautiful and I love your personalization idea! Sally Spencer looks so pretty on the Hemingway. I hope that gets released soon ❤. I had a great time finishing my Smith sampler swan while watching you my beautiful friend ❤️❤️❤️⭐️🌹
Hi Sarah! Oh Joyous Day is stunning! I’ve seen the WIP so many times in your videos, but there’s something about the finish, on that wonderful fabric, and your intended personalizations, that just completely capture my heart. 💗 Today while watching your video I was inching my way to a third page finish on Ragnarok by Long Dog Samplers. Thank you for another wonderful update. -Leah Noel
All of your stitchy shares and your finish are gorgeous. The sampler you are stitching on 56 count is cute, meaning the tiny stitches. The red is very pretty as well. The Santa and his sleigh is beautiful. I may have to break down and get that one as well as a couple of others I’ve seen on FB. So much for no buy January. I can’t help it. Aria’s stocking is adorable. I love the bear. I froze the video to look at it carefully. There are a lot of details on that stocking. It will be beautiful when finished. Your two grandkiddos are very lucky. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes for our fires down here. While I live about an hour south of the fires, I have friends and family that live close to them. I lived most of my life in different areas of LA county so I was worried and watching the fires closely. A town up in the Bay Area, Emeryville, set up an area for donations to send to SoCal. They were going to truck the items down to LA. An animal rescue was going to fly to LA and bring dogs from the shelters that had been in there awhile so as to make room for animals that were victims of the fire. It really touches my heart to see NorCal step up to help. I remember the Paradise fire several years ago that wiped out a whole town, just like our Palisades area. I know I’m jabbering but it’s horrendous. And the winds are back today. It’s scary. So it was nice to stitch and watch your video and block out the scary wind sounds. Thanks for spreading happiness in the FlossTube world.
The plum stack is one that I have thought about stitching for my corgi-owning niece. I am so glad you are continuing to zoom. ❤ Great progress on great projects!
Oh my goodness! I really love your Joyous day and I may have it in stash waiting for me to stitch ☺️. As always my lovely i enjoyed spending time with you 😘 sending hugs xxx Zoom
Corgi from Plum is beautiful. Sarah, I love your interesting videos and that music at the beginning that your husband made. It makes your channel special ;) Thank you.
Your Santa finds are wonderful. I agree with you. I’d never use stitched items where they would get dirty. Never know when a saucy plum may fall on them. Making them into ornaments is a great idea. Please let us see your finishes.
Congratulations on finishing O Joyous Day. Seeing yours makes me want to pull mine out and get more done. Loved seeing you today, you brightened my very gloomy (weather) Saturday. Still looking forward to having my name called for Zoom someday.
Congratulations on finishing O Joyous Day! It is beautiful! I’m finally getting caught up on Floss tubes I missed during the holidays! I was just too busy and recovering from breaking my hip! It was good to see you again and see what you are stitching on now! See you in a couple of weeks!
@@deehansen5490 Good morning, Dee. I am so sorry about your hip. Sending love and good thoughts to you during your recovery. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching.
I love that you found those prairie schoolers! I recently found probably my oldest wip and it is a full kit from the Scarlet Letter 😮😂. I always love a plum.
Always enjoy your videos and seeing what you are working on. The Plum Street design is so cute. Our corgi was named Emmett and he was such a wonderful dog.
What a fun find of those adorable santas!! Love them! What a fabulous Christmas pillow finish! You are a pro at those pillows! I cannot get enough of Christmas Delivery! I'm gonna have to do that one eventually haha. Look at you go with WIPGO! Glad it's going well for you
Good morning, Jeryn. It always makes me happy to know you have been in my FlossTube journey since the beginning. I appreciate you sharing that with me. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
So happy for you to have Oh Joyous Day finished. Someday mine too will be finished. I am thoroughly enjoying the One Stitch at a Time SAL. The colors are my favorite type palette. Those corgis are plum sweet. Always love hearing Vince’s voice at the end of your video. He’s the sweetest. Before we know it Aria will be chiming in🩷
Hello, Karen. I am thrilled to have Oh Joyous Day completed and I am enjoying the personalization. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
I recently used that phrase "Never Admire Quietly" last week as I was sitting in a fast-food place with my husband as he ate breakfast. A father and his 3-year-old daughter came in for breakfast. As they sat down at their table he made the remark, "Ok you know what we have to do first" and I thought maybe it was going to be saying prayers before the meal which would have been nice to see, but instead he took out a box of flash cards with numbers and colors and he was asking her to tell him what the colors and numbers were. I thought this is the perfect time to Never Admire Quietly, so I walked over before we left and told him how impressed and nice this was to see a parent teaching their child with learning. I could tell he was a great dad. He even put her blond hair in a ponytail to keep it out of her face while she ate. I have a feeling he was giving the mom a morning off to herself. What a wonderful sight. ♥
Good morning, Pat. Your story brought tears to my eyes both for your kindness and the father’s attentive care to his daughter. Beautiful! Thank you for watching and all of your kind support. Happy stitching.
Good morning, Kate. I am glad to hear that you are starting on Oh Joyous Day. Need all the dets, fabric, floss, etc. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching.
@@SarahsStitchySpot oh yes, lots of threads on this one. I’m stitching her on 46ct sleeping bear. I’ll post wip pics on instagram once I finish the top row. So far I’m loving it. But being a BBD what’s not to love? ;)

Love your FT! The Quaker from Nailsea is stunning - I've always wanted that one and still dont have it ...yet lol! It's just outside Bristol :) Tx for being so kind about my Book of Days!
Your fancy pants Santa is designed by Need'l Love Company - leaflet #41 and was titled Tweed & Twinkle Santas. Published in 1993. Thanks for the Flosstube, I really enjoy your videos.
Hello friend - good to visit with you this morning ❤. I haven’t stitched since Christmas - so I really enjoyed to see what you’re working on. Your finish on Oh Joyous Day is beautiful - I love adding my kids initials on my pieces, hopefully then they won’t take them to GoodWill when I’m gone 😂. I really should start the 2025 MFE SAL - maybe soon - it’s one of my favorite new charts. When I stitch a piece for my grands I schedule their birth “day” each month to work on the piece. Can’t wait to hear about your Attic trip - it’s going to be so much fun for you. Have a few good weeks ahead - tty soon! 🤗
Your idea for O Joyous Day is a great one - I think I should do an 'O Joyous Day' sampler to commemorate my joyous days. Thanks for the inspiring and interesting video, as always, Sarah.
Good morning, Emily. I think you would love stitching Oh Joyous Day. I am also going to add the initials of my grandchildren in the appropriate band with their mother. (Sort of killing two birds with one stone, so to speak) Thank you for watching and your kind support. Happy stitching.
What a wonderful FlossTube! I so enjoy seeing what you are stitching. Congratulations on your finishes. They are beautiful. I need to get some stitches in O Joyous Day. I love your idea of initials in the three sections.
Lovely video again Sarah. Thank you. I am also stitching One Stitch at a Time but have chosen a centre start. One of the trees next. Happy Stitching. ❤❤
Good morning, Joy. Don’t you love this chart? I particularly like the font for the words. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
Hi Sarah!! So good to see your smile!! I so admire all your pretty WIPs!! I’m so proud of you finishing Oh Joyous Day!! It’s gorgeous! I started mine today to commemorate my retirement - talk about Oh Joyous Day at 5:01pm on Jan 10!! I worked 51.5 years full-time - I’m truly free!!! Love your fabric for Away We Ride - perfect for that! Coming right along! Take care Sarah and look forward to seeing you again! ❤
Good morning, Marilyn. I am breaking open the champagne, actually a Diet Coke, it’s only 7:20am, but you catch my drift. Congratulations, my friend. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy, happy stitching!!!!!
This was my first time watching you! So wonderful! You’re so sweet and positive! I’m a recently retired RN - loved every minute of my 45 year career in pediatrics and later adult medicine case management. Love your patterns! ❤
Hello, Susie. Welcome to my FlossTube channel. I look forward to sharing our stitching journey together. Please let me know if you ever have any questions or suggestions. Congratulations on your retirement and your service in the health field. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching.
Hi Sarah! Loved this episode! Your “vintage” Santa stitches are just so pretty! I was so happy to see your finish of Oh Joyous Day! It is such a beautiful stitch! I am working on the last 2 rows of satin stitch and I’ll be done too! I will try to get a good photo of it to share with you! Your WIP’s are amazing! I love the stocking you are going to stitch for Aria! Thanks for always sharing the photos of Annie, Vince, and sweet Aria! How is it possible that she is already 2 months old?? Have a good couple of weeks until you are back!
Hello, dear Carol. Yes, I do hope you will share your finish of Oh Joyous Day with all of us. Thank you for watching and your kind words. I am glad you enjoy the photos of the family. Happy stitching.
Another inspiring episode. Your Sally Spencer is purrfection. Love the linen and silks. Keeping all Californians in our hearts. Donated to WCK and Pasadena Humane Society. Be well Sarah.
Good morning, Sherry. I appreciate your concerns, good thoughts, and donations for those affected by the fires here in California. Thank you for watching, your kindness, and all of your support. Happy stitching.
Hello, Tami. I am enjoying the personalization of Oh Joyous Day, slow because it’s over one, but worth every stitch. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
This is my first time tuning in to you. How did I not know about you? I don't have any stitchy friends, I live in a rural area on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. I like progams that feel like I am at the kitchen table with the floss tuber.
Hello, Kathryn. I love the chart for Have Courage, gorgeous colors and the bird is amazing. Thank you for watching and the kind comment. Happy stitching.
Hi Sarah ….. I love watching your videos and although I’m not finished with your video today, I thought I would let you know about 2 of the 3 Santa stitches you recently uncovered. They are from the Prairie Schooler Father Christmas book 43. Isn’t it amazing what we discover at clean up time?! I will certainly unearth some treasures when I choose to do the same in my own closets. Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
Very nice, love all the stacks by Plum St. Wow, Oh Joyous Day and to add your 3 daughter's initials will be so great. Love it on the F&R fabric. Great WIPS as usual, and cute pics at the end. 🥰
Hello my friend! You’ll be happy to know I was stitching on my long neglected full coverage while watching. Cos I know you keep tabs on me 😉 Love you and our joking, even if I still think you are cheating on that border. Thanks for the fun. I hope you get Angele Armel finished before we next see you.
Hello, Sarah. I do think you will see a finish on Angele Armel on my next FlossTube. I restarted the Little Owl Patchwork SAL. One over one on 32 count needs a thinner thread such as 100.3. It is so cute, I don’t mind and it looks ever so much better. Thank you for watching. Keep up the good work on the full coverage. I will be watching you. Much love, my friend.
Hello from Tennessee! You knocked it plum out of the park! 😉. What a wonderful video. Thank you so very much for sharing your work with us. Love you bunches
Hello. Yes, the Little Owl Patchwork Sampler by Historical Sampler Co is very cute and I am enjoying the stitch. The PDF chart is still available through their website which is linked in the description box. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching.
Good morning, Sheila. I am thrilled to have Oh Joyous Day stitched. I appreciate your input on initials and dates. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
Love that Corgi stack...if only they we're painted plum ! Yout projects are always so pretty and you are always giving f back to out community. Thanks !
Hi Sarah, not sure if anyone else has gotten back to you regarding your vintage Santa holding the tree. The chart is Tweed & Twinkle Santas by The Need’l Love Company. So so cute. I have the chart but haven’t stitched either Santa yet. May have to stitch one soon.
Bravo for O Joyeus Day and I think the idea for the initials for your daughters is just perfect. A thought, it came, it left... 😂😂😂 Too funny. Thank you for showing my stitching.
Thanks for the video visit. You have made so much progress on your WIPs, and adding your daughters' information to Oh Joyous Day is so special! I love personalizing pieces for family and friends. Hope to see you in Sacramento next weekend. Happy stitching!

I always enjoy seeing what you’re working on. Very impressive you’re starting another intense stocking! Isn’t it fun? So heartwarming to stitch an heirloom!❤
Hello, Ginger. Have you been giving any thoughts to a birth sampler or stocking? I have ordered the Aida for Aria’s stocking. Thank you for watching and all of your kind support. Happy stitching.
I love your finish of O Joyous Day-and I think your idea of putting your girls initials/ birthdates is great. When I did this one I added my two children and their birthdates and I love it. Their births truly were joyous days!
Good morning, Diane. I just added my oldest daughter’s initials and year of birth on Oh Joyous Day this morning. I also plan to add initials of their children as well. All joyous days. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
I love your O Joyous Day - a beautiful piece! I was waiting for you to talk about the piece on your wall! Have you talked about it in a previous flosstube? Perhaps before I joined. It is gorgeous!
Good morning. Bread cloths, that would make perfect sense. I am assuming Eliza Stiles is out of print or not yet charted. I could not find it on Google as a chart. Do you know more about it. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching.
I like Plum Street Samplers charts, and Corgis are so cute. Nice work on everything. I watched and worked on Prairie Schooler's Day 1 of 12 Days of Christmas. I hope to finish all 12 of them by the end of the year, as well as all 12 of Bent Creek's monthly Snappers, and a few other items. Say "Hi!" to Stan - I hope you are both doing well. Pets and kisses to Ms. Sally (that's your puppy's name, right?) Take care.
Hello, Chris. I do love a good Prairie Schooler! I am looking forward to our meet up on the 25th. Annie is our dog’s name and she appreciates your pets and kisses. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
Hi Sarah - great flosstube as usual! Congratulations on finishing Oh Joyous Day. It is beautiful. And I love your idea of dedicating it to your daughters. Do you mind if I copy that idea and dedicate mine to my daughters? Talk soon ❤️
Hello, Brenda. I think it would be great for you to dedicate to your daughters. I have actually decided to add the initials of their children, my grandchildren as well. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
I love your idea for Oh Joyous Day. Perfect plan to put your daughters' initials and date of birth in each section. Can we talk about the Elizabeth Eyles in the background please. It looks great there!
Just a thought on the personalization of O Joyous Day, would there be room to include your grandchildren with each daughter? Have fun in Mesa and don’t buy everything. I’ll be surprised if there is anything left after this weekend’s retreat. My trip is later in the month and I have a shopping list prepared. 😂
Hello, Vicki. I actually thought about that today! (putting their children’s initials). Great minds think alike. Thank you for watching and sharing your ideas. Happy stitching.
I am joining you in the Across the Pond SAL. I am doing the border, which I am halfway complete. We are about the same place on the verse. You are a bit ahead of me on courage, however. 😂 I have been meaning to ask for ages. Might you have some Grimes relatives in Manchester, UK, perhaps?
Hello, Kris. I am unaware of any relatives in the UK. My family was basically from Kentucky and I don’t think any significant genealogy has been done. Thank you for watching and all of your support. Happy stitching.
Hello, Pamela. So many people have asked about my handwriting and career as a physician, lol. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
The Santas on the tartan cloth are cute little guys. I’m sure they’ll be beautiful as ornaments. Your Christmas reindeer pillow is very sweet, as is the teddy bear head in Christmas Delivery. Oh Joyous Day is gorgeous. Love the idea of putting your daughters’ names/birthdates in each section, a lovely tribute to them. And as usual, all your stitching is wonderful, though I am concerned about Away We Ride. Why are the blackbirds so unkind, calling some woman a wicked witch? Maybe she’s not the nicest, or the prettiest, but kind words never go amiss. They’d have done well participating in after school programs; maybe then they wouldn’t have this menacing gang mentality. I hope you can straighten them out before the pattern is finished, or there could be mayhem (and no one wants that all over their fabric). Hope you had a fantastic time at the symposium. I also hope you've done stitchers everywhere proud, and have returned home with an appropriate amount of stash. Take care, sweet friend, and happy stitching.

Love your fabric for Away We Ride - perfect for that! Coming right along! Take care Sarah and look forward to seeing you again! ❤

Hello, Linda. I appreciate the kind words for Oh Joyous Day. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching.
This is my first time tuning in to you. How did I not know about you? I don't have any stitchy friends, I live in a rural area on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. I like progams that feel like I am at the kitchen table with the floss tuber.
Your courage cross stitch with the 🐦 bird is so much prettier then the pattern . WOW❤ Love it!
Good morning, Dee. Thank you for watching and the kind comment. Happy stitching, my friend.
Hi Sarah,
I know the first and last Santas are Prarie Schoolers. I have them in a re-print.
Plum pudding is wonderful.

Yout projects are always so pretty and you are always giving f back to out community. Thanks !
Hello, Kristy. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching.
Hello, Alison. I was thrilled to share your stitching, so inspiring. Thank you for watching, your kind comment, and encouragement. Happy stitching.
Thanks for the video visit. You have made so much progress on your WIPs, and adding your daughters' information to Oh Joyous Day is so special! I love personalizing pieces for family and friends. Hope to see you in Sacramento next weekend. Happy stitching!
Hello, Deb. I am planning on being at the meet up on the 25th. I look forward to seeing you. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
Your stitching is so lovely! Happy to spend time with you. I have found the sampler I want to share with you in the basement! Now wait until the ice melts to get to the car and mail it!
Hello, Cathy. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. The midwest and south has really been hit by cold, snow, and ice. Stay warm and be safe. Happy stitching.
Really enjoyed your flosstube today , the PLUM Street pattern is so cute . Have a wonderful day .
Good morning, Karen. Thank you for watching and the kind comment. Happy stitching.
@@SarahsStitchySpot Thant's wonderful Sarah- I hope you enjoy having on your wall as much as I do!
I love your O Joyous Day - a beautiful piece! I was waiting for you to talk about the piece on your wall! Have you talked about it in a previous flosstube? Perhaps before I joined. It is gorgeous!
Hi Sarah, Happy New Year to you. I’m looking forward to summer and plums on the tree! Sally in Northern California 😁
Good morning, Sally. Thank you for watching. Happy New Year to you as well. Wishing you much stitching in 2025.
The plum street pattern is adorable!
Hello, Cheryl. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching.
Love Corgis Plum pattern. It's is adorable ❤️! Look for you every other Friday. Really enjoy seeing what's in the basket.
Good morning, Jayne. Thank you for watching and your sweet comment. I will continue to work hard and keep my basket full! Happy stitching.
The Santa's looked like bread cloths. I love Corgis, esp stacked. Still would love to see Eliza Stiles as my Mom is a Stiles.
Good morning. Bread cloths, that would make perfect sense. I am assuming Eliza Stiles is out of print or not yet charted. I could not find it on Google as a chart. Do you know more about it. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching.
Happy 2025. As always I enjoyed this episode. I have a close friend who is obsessed with Corgis and would love to stitch that Plum pattern for her.
Hello, Denise. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
❤❤❤
Happy New Year Sarah! I look forward to spending 2025 stitching with you. Have to love those Plum Corgi's...
Good morning, Patricia. Thank you for watching and wishing you much joy in the new year.
Hello, Robyn. I appreciate the input on Oh Joyous Day. I love Elizabeth Eyles as well. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
I have been meaning to ask for ages. Might you have some Grimes relatives in Manchester, UK, perhaps?
Hello, Kris. I am unaware of any relatives in the UK. My family was basically from Kentucky and I don’t think any significant genealogy has been done. Thank you for watching and all of your support. Happy stitching.
Are you sure you were a physician? Your handwriting is very neat and easy to read! 😉 I always enjoy your videos.
Hello, Pamela. So many people have asked about my handwriting and career as a physician, lol. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
Great video Sara !
Good morning, Jenn.
