- An ADHD life coach, as long as they have ICF accredited training, is equipped to coach anyone, just like a regular life coach. However, they also receive additional training around ADHD symptoms and solutions that a general life coach won't have. Watch this video to see what you might miss if you have ADHD or you're just a little "ADDish" if you don't work with a trained ADHD life coach.
Wait, should you only work with an ADHD coach if you have ADHD? In this video I'll cover that, and more.

this video is like a try to focus challenge for people with adhd
The music is too distracting
😭🤣🤣🤣🐿🐿🐿🐿
yess😅
I got an ADHD coach for my son. The office is about 2 hours from us. We did the first meeting in person and now online once a week. I never have issues getting my son to log in. It's the best $150.00 a week I've spent. I am interested in group coaching for him going forward
Great content but the background music is too loud and distracting.
I know.... sorry
Agreed. I’m having a hard time concentrating on her due to the music. Lol
Idk. The music is helping me focus. Keeping me attracted.
There was music? I can hear every word you say and retain most of it. ha 🙏
Thanks so much for this!! I'm 28 and have been struggling with ADHD since I was young and this opened my eyes up to aspects of coaching and ADHD coaching specifically that I literally had no clue existed. I appreciate the tip of doing the group coaching and individual coaching for specific task-driven things. I'm so glad I came across this! 🙏
You are so welcome, Tyler! I hope you find the right support that you need. Coaching can really help.
I wish i could ask you more questions
Do they exist online or do I have to drive an hour and a half every time?
I have ADHD.. I'm soon to graduate to be an SUD counselor. I learned that ADHD is linked to drug use. I have been looking into ADHD coaching and I would love to enter this field. My question is, is there a way to combine both in any way? I'm super excited about my new career but I really want to do coaching also. That would be so amazing to do!
Oh Michelle, I think there's LOTS of ways you could blend these two careers! I don't know much about SUD counseling, but coaching is super helpful for ADHDers
Michelle, yes totally! You could position yourself as a SUD counselor and make sure to emphasize that you work with ADHD clients. If you feel like you need more ADHD-specific training, you can look into programs about that.
I know this is an old video but I wish I can talk to you. I have a daughter with ADHD and I need a coach to help her..
Hi there, unfortunately I'm not taking on new clients right now.
Where did you get your training certification?
ADDCA! I highly recommend the program
Interesting but hard to hear with the music
I know.... I was new to video at that time. Hopefully the quality has improved!
How do you get clients in a small town? Because I've found most ADHD folk are on a tight budget...
You've got to market online.
What is the best online certification for ADHD coaching which is recognised and comprehensive in nature?
ADDCA.
@@CarenMagill Thank you. Will check that out
