Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time UA-camr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. On my channel you'll find lots of videos about drugstore makeup and drugstore dupes (those are my favorites to film!) but I also review high-end makeup as well. You mentioned that you’ve been on UA-cam for 5 yrs. Which means you started around age 40 right? I find that refreshing and inspirational. Not everyone has to be in their teens and twenties! Im in my late 30s and I’d like to think that I can start something new whenever I want too!
Yes! I started it a month before my 40th birthday. 🥰 I was nervous but also inspired by a lot of the older women here on UA-cam who have been successful.
I wore maybelline foundation for my wedding day. Natural, no flashback, no oiliness or flakiness, color match, etc… 100% my holy grail, will forever love it.
I would love one of these style videos about CoverGirl. I wish more drugstore brands were cruelty free.
I agree 100% about cruelty~free status~I only purchase cruelty~free products. It says so much about the integrity of a brand🐰

Maybelline Fit Me concealer to this day is still my favorite concealer drugstore or high-end. I think it is one of the best concealers. Maybelline is my favorite drugstore makeup brand. I have loved the Maybelline lipsticks for years. I have bought pretty pinks, reds, plums and even crazy purples and blacks in the lipstick line. Also, love the Fit Me foundation, powders and blushes. Also, Maybelline makes some of the best mascaras. Yes, those highlighters are excellent. Maybelline does not get enough love in the beauty community the way it should.

L’Oréal definitely. My favorite drugstore brand. I think they’re just as good as high end. Minus the eyeshadows.
Maybelline waterproof formulas are one of the only ones that actually hold the curl in my lashes. And I have tried HUNDREDS of mascaras over the years! Full n Soft waterproof is absolutely my HG. I always have at least one tube open - and plenty more backups!!
Maybelline has always been my favorite drugstore brand since I was a teenager and Sarah Michelle Geller was their spokesmodel. They have always had awesome products for every category. I can always count on them for a full face of great products!
The Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipcolors are a real standout. Urban Decay came out with a similar product (Vice Lip Bond Glossy Liquid Lipstick), but, by all reports I have come across, Maybelline did it better.
I agree with you about the "fit me" foundation. The cheapest one I own and my favorite.
I've heard from Zabrena that the fit me loose powder is amazing! Her demo looked great! ❤

I’m loving this series! I would really like to see some reviews/recommendations for the Sephora store brand. I have the foundation and love it. I also have some of their eyeshadows palettes and they’re great too. They’re so affordable especially during their sales.
Maybelline Fit me concealer is my long time fave. I also LOOOVE Maybelline lipsticks - especially Color Sensational line! They smell so nice too, love the scent, I smell smth sweet for sure but not vanilla or waxes. Great lux formula. And certainly Color Tattoos have been my faves for a long time. Color Tattoos are legendary ! Id love to see RIMMEL, Catrice, Essence next :)

Maybelline is a great brand. I found some of their lipsticks at Dollar Tree recently. The crayons are great. I would suggest you do a video on Joah products. ❤

I love Maybelline, especially their Full and Soft mascaras and Lifter glosses. Their pink lip crayons stay pink on me; many other drugstore brands turn orangey.

The Fit Me foundation comes with a pump in Europe. I love that foundation too, for that price, it is actually incredible 🥰
One of my favorite mascaras is the classic Colossal 100% black that comes in the yellow tube. It is so reliable, I know I can go back to use it anytime and it is just great. Another fantastic Maybelline product is the loose powder, it works better for my dry skin than other hyped expensive ones. And of course, the age rewind concealer...

The Eyestudio potted eyeliner is the best I’ve ever used. It goes on so easily and wears like iron. Thanks for all the great dupes Jen!
I know L’Oréal is on the higher end, but if you do a video which everyone would love bc there are so many classic products you would have to include the Age Perfect Serum Foundation! Another brand to film is NYX.
I love L'oreal and my favorite foundation is the True Match! The serum foundation made my skin look SO dry (it's full of alcohol). I know everyone loves it and I'm in the minority but sadly I just can't wear it. 😥
NYX has GREAT lip pencils and eyeliners!

My Mom will be 90 in June and she loves when I send her makeup. I will check some one your suggestions out. We both feel everyday is a great day for lipstick 💄
Before you mentioned Maybelline FitMe foundation, I never looked twice at it. True Match never worked for me. Wanted to come back & tell you I've been using Dewy & Smooth almost daily these past 4 months. It's VERY skinlike yet doesn't melt off my combo skin. Will repurchase.
I really enjoyed watching this video. For myself who is on a budget i am happy to know that Maybelline products are comparable to high end. My favorite Maybelline products are the blushes and concealers. Can you do a video on L'Oreal products. Thank you

I love Maybelline! The Fit Me Dewy + Smooth foundation is one of my holy grails. I pit many other brands against it for shade, performance and finish. I also love their mascaras & lipsticks. The crayons are my daily fave. 🥰

I love the dewy & smooth foundation as well. I'm 52 years old and I have had this foundation in my collection forever. I know I can always count on it. I can't be without it. Also The age rewind concealer.
You look so fresh-for-Spring pretty in these colors! Maybelline has been one of my favorite brands for as long as I've been wearing makeup, which is nearly 50 years!! Foundation, lipstick, blush and those highlighters to mention a few. Still affordable. Love it!
I totally agree with you on the Maybelline lip products .I finally got a Lifter gloss and it’s so hydrating i love it so I went for a couple more. The only gloss I’ve tried that actually leaves my lips feeling truly moisturized not just greasy after it wears down. I like the matte ink Crayons too since I’ve been continued masking at work. I remember when the Colorsensational lipsticks launched and I’ve loved them since. They are so comfortable and have so many colors. Looking to get some new ones if we get mask wearing reduced. Need to pick up a couple of those blushes also, if I can find them.
Amazon sells pumps in a two pack fits the Maybelline, Estee lauder, Mac and even the L'Oréal skin tint they replace the dropper

As someone who stopped using liquid lipsticks because my lips are prone to dryness even if I drink a good amount of water , The milani color fetish matte lipsticks are soo creamy & comfortable for a matte. They feel like luxe

Maybelline color sensational lipsticks are so reliable. I may not wear makeup every day but am never without lips and Maybelline is easy to find, affordable, massive shade range and excellent quality.
Love these "best of" videos. The Revlon one was great. Now I have to add Maybelline mascara and blush to my wish list. Love the Dewy and Smooth Fit Me foundation. It really does rival higher priced products. My favorite Maybelline products are the Age Rewind concealer and Color Tattoo cream eye shadows. Move over MAC paint pots!
I would like to know what Almay has. I know they are owned by Revlon. Many years ago they had great eyeliners and lipsticks. Tfs

I love the Maybelline FitMe loose and pressed powders, both are fantastic! I also have one shade of the blush that is great, don’t know why I never got another one! And the regular Lash Sensational mascara as well, builds a ton of volume as well as adding length.

Agree with all of your choices. Their Super Stay Matte Ink liquid lipstick is the best formula I’ve tried - very long lasting without drying out your lips.

You got me onto the Lifter glosses! Love them. And the lip ink crayons- I’m on my third one in Lead The Way. Maybe I would add their Age Rewind concealer- that’s a favourite of mine. L’Oréal or Cover Girl next? WetNWild & ELF are easy to find here in 🇨🇦 - drugstore regulars.

I have so many faves from Maybelline! They make the best drugstore mascaras in my opinion. The falsies lash lift is amazing! Also their superstay ink crayons,vinyl ink lipsticks and age rewind concealer. I need to try the Fit Me dewy foundation!
Yes they really do! I try different brands for mascara but always find myself going back to maybelline full n soft. I don’t see many people talk about this one much but I love the basic, mascara brush and wand.
Great info, as always! 😃I'll be checking out the Maybelline lip section soon. I didn't realize there were so many options. Love the Fit Me blushes, but yeah, they're always tucked away somewhere and you have to "hunt" for them. As for the foundation, hopefully they'll add a pump soon. 'Til then, you can buy a reusable pump on Amazon specifically for the Fit Me foundation. I bought one for the L'Oreal True Match a couple years ago and it worked like a charm!

Maybelline Shine Free line were my very first makeup products in middle school, so this brand holds a very dear place in my heart. The Maybelline Lifter Gloss is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES. You are SO right in that even after the color wears off, they still leave so much moisture on your lips, and for a good amount of time. I also like the Fit Me powders for my oily skin. It's a bit of a heavier consistency, and I recommend setting with a LIGHT hand, but it's still a great powder. Their mascaras are also phenomenal. Thank you for sharing your faves. The only one I haven't tried is the highlighter, but having oily skin, my highlight is built-in. ❤❤
