A woman in her advanced years that has built up quite a bit of knowledge and understanding about my skin. I try hard not to compare my skin to others. However, I find it difficult to watch certain channels where the content creator has the perfect glass skin without any blemishes or wrinkles before makeup. I find that really interesting….
Well alot of them just use filters to smooth out their skin which if they are talking about skincare is ridiculous lol. I just don't watch those who use those filters but I'm not good at noticing that lol.
I’ve been enjoying the ELF SPF lipgloss in “That’s My Jam” (Berry shade) but the 2 pink ones were just ok and a bit streaky (but I have deeper skin than you) but for $7 it seems like a great way to protect your lips and get a lil shine 🤍
I like the elf spf lip gloss a lot and have been surprised no one is talking about it. I have the mauve shade and it’s a perfect MLBB shade for me. The sunscreen scent is strong at first but there is no flavor and the scent dissipates. Not particularly hydrating but not drying either, which is a win for a mineral sunscreen.
Thank you for the explanation on bringing life back to powder blush. I realized I do something similar when I used a powder bronzer, then add a cream/liquid blush!
I like the look of the CoverGirl eye enhancer on you. I might have to try it for myself. The nostalgia hit hard watching you apply it with the sponge-tipped applicator. It'd be fun to see what products you used back in the day if you felt inspired to film that. You also could do an updated retro/high school look with modern products.
I actually liked the elf gloss purely because though it has a mild scent it did not irritate my sensitive nose or lips or throat for that matter! And it was really long wearing! I had to actually wipe it off. So if you don’t like a heavier feeling gloss I would steer clear of this one. And the NYX blush is my current fave. I have horrible acne scarring and active acne and I don’t feel like it accentuates it and has a blurring quality even though it is a buttery-glow product! 💪🏼

I love that you go for or favour a more natural look. Your makeup always looks great, like you, but just enhanced a little (if you know what I mean). You do your makeup like many people do for everyday wear. It's just lovely and so refreshing. As much as l like many other UA-cam Beauty creators, some of them really do pile it on lol, not really that practical for everyday life....
I tried the ELF Bronzing Drops, but was looking for something more bronze than dew, so I will try the Milani. I've hit pan on my Hoola Bronzer, so when it runs out, I'm going to try the NYX Butter Bronzer to save me some cash. The thing I love about the NYX Butter Blushes, is that they do have a variety of pink/rosy tones, which look better on my cooler complexion, than orange or nudes do. When they first came out, I thought they were a cream, since they have the word "butter" in it, so I was so happy to hear they are a powder!
My favorites in this video are: - Elf Soft Glam Satin Foundation in Light Neutral -> Kelly mix it with the hydrating camo cc cream and you get the most beautiful full coverage, Sun Boss Gloss SPF 25 in Peachy Kween (I bought it and my mom and I can't stop wearing it) - NYX Bare With Me Hydrating Concealer in Light, Butter melt Pressed Powder Blush in U Know Butta (great summer shade) & Butter melt Pressed Powder Natural Finish Bronzer in Butta Cup (I actually love how it's ashy but feels so good for a no makeup makeup look) - Colourpop Pretty Fresh Pressed Face Powder in Light -> okay this the best line Colourpop came out with - AOA Sunday Afternoon Eyeshadow Quad in Depresso -> that's the best cute eyeshadow quad I've bought. You'll fall in love with it
I want to try the NYX blush even more since you tried on the video. I love the whole look. I also liked the bronzer. Maybe the Elf foundation was to light for $8 you can't go wrong. You look beautiful 🤩❤️
I got two of the deeper shades of the NYX Buttermelt Blushes - Getting Butta (Cool Glowy Pink) and All That Butta (Electric Fuchsia). I love them! I use a light hand and I can get a soft wash of color or I can build them up, but they blend out so beautifully. I can definitely see myself picking up more shades in the future. I also love the bronzer!

I was disappointed with the new elf foundation in order to get a shade match I had to purchase 2 different shades and mix them. Looks amazing on however that takes it to be 16.00 I can just purchase a color of another brand and use one color. It is very nice on the face just not worth the hassle for me. ❤❤❤❤❤
Agreed, I too purchased two shades and none od them was a good match for my olive undertone, not even mixing them, to sort of make it work I have to add a drop of blue pigment and then a bit of another foundation 🤷♀️ too much hassle... not worth it...
Hi Kelly, I think you would still need an extra spf 50 lip balm underneath the ELF gloss to get adequate UV protection (if you are in the sun a lot). It really just depends on how much sun exposure you get daily. You can probably wear this gloss alone if you’re indoors most of the time. But if you’re vacationing somewhere sunny, bring that extra spf 50 lip balm. 60-70% of collagen loss is due to sun exposure. Lips shrink naturally with age, but the sun UV rays rapidly make that happen. 😢
ughhhh the Milani drops are sooooo expensive for drugstore. It’s so discouraging that they keep hiking up their prices. Corporate greed is real!! I just keep buying less and less because I hate a bad deal.

The shade that's my jam is so good. This one is incredible bc it is physical spf and doesn't taste bitter! I'm super into it.
Despite it looking scary dark it can be sheered out some and ends up with a sort of black honey vibe.

I have the Nyx Buttermelt Blush in their deeper red shade and it's so pigmented but I love it with a light hand. 😊

I love the Elf Glam. It reminds me of my Wet and Wild Tinted Hydrator. Less is more with these products and I always use my clean fingers to put on.

You should try the NYX Buttermelt blush in the tangerine shade - Sooner The Butta. It's definitely tangerine but it looks so pretty blended out!!

I have the feeling that you use a lot of foundation because you apply the foundation directly to the face, but maybe that's deceptive.
