You should check the upper motor mount bracket (to the frame). Thoses bolts tend to break, maybe it can cause that noise. Might as well check the others motor mount.
Dynojet jet kit + air box mod + duncan racing fat boy exhaust = unbelievable amounts of power out these things. These 660's are very air restricted, so opening up both exhaust and air intake with the added fuel from the jet kit makes em insanely powerful.
thats what i was wondering. my nuddies just got ahold lof a raptor 660 tht we none of the history on other then it has an intake and exhaust and is a lot crazier than the one in this video. his wheelies first second and 3rd gear with just a crack of the throttle. thisone seems so tamed
I bought an 04. I love these quads. I’ve been messing around with the sprockets times get some more speed. Right now I’m running 16/41. Had it up to 82 but can go a bit more. Not enough power to push it. I lost some when I swapped sprockets. Once I install my exhaust, new air box, and jet kit should do over 90. My only complaint with the quad is the power. Not enough in my opinion. But I’m fixing that.
I can run 110 on my 2001 Yamaha Raptor 660R but mine ain't stock mine has a Yamaha 600 twin snowmobile engine my only complaint is there's usually not enough space to open it up all the way but when you do you better hang on

@@kdcustoms1272 yeah they can, thats why atv fenders are plastic, I used to race flat track on mine when I bought it in 01 i hit a wall going about 50 and broke my femur, did about 150,000 in hospital bills to me and only arond 6 or 700 of damage to the atv, it tore the atv up but was just simple things like a arms on one side and radiator things like headlights etc, the plastic was creased and had to race cut but i could still use it, ended up buying new plastic from yamaha down the road

@Quirin M. it may but my banshee beats my brothers raptor 700 7 out of 10 times but his is stock and mine is big bore kit with aftermarket pipes and rejetted
