      Yes I like that he uses a good mix of case studies and also his own anecdotal experience as an MD. Lots of the steriod gurus online are basically just speaking from their own personal experiences or parroting what they've read on reddit/forums. This guy is a wealth of knowledge.

    Wow this was the video I’ve been waiting for! Dr. Neil Rouzier has a lengthy video with a lot of the same conclusions. The RBC, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit topic has worried me for some time as I am on only 112 mg per week. (.28 ml twice per week) and have elevated levels. Currently taking Omega 3 fish oil and baby aspirin daily and always staying hydrated. I also quit smoking marijuana about 3 months ago because I heard that it’s similar to wearing the “training mask” and compromising cardiovascular efficiency. I’ll be getting some blood work soon, especially CBC to analyze the change from 3 months ago. Thank you Doc! This is great information and it’s FREE! Thank you!

      It's rare but people who live at altitude can and do occasionally suffer health issues from high rbc. It's also worth noting that high RBC from altiude is a regulated adaptation to low oxygen. Good content doc. I think you use the descriptor "Central obstructive sleep apnea". Isn't it either obstructive sleep apnea or central sleep apnea? I'm not sure that I've ever heard of Central obstructive sleep apnea. Anyway keep putting out the good content.

    I'm on test and just finished a low dose Deca cycle for joint support, the Deca worked wonders, but now I've been having some blood pressure lately. maybe I'll go give blood and see if that helps.

    Look into Nattokinase NSK-SD, which is a plasmin helping to control coagulation and improve viscosity issues.

    Bottom line - go donate blood at the 5-7 week mark. They'll tell you your hemoglobin. It'll be high, but still in range. Use reasonable dosages: 600 mgs per week is plenty. Stay in the game and stay thirsty my friends.

    I have androgen induced polycythemia, plus sleep apnoea my haematocrit levels are consistently 53 - 56% I’ve watched this video with some interest however I’m still none the wiser regarding risk factors to my longevity or a coherent treatment protocol. Did I miss something? I’m having blood drawn regularly and wear a cpap but nothing drops my haematocrit below 50% consistently. At one point they were taking a pint a week and if it did drop it was right back the following week. Middle aged white boy on trt 🤔

      You still having this?
      You're doing the wrong kind of blood donation. You need to specify "double red". You can only do it every three months. I've heard it can be done every two months but not anywhere in my part of U.S.

      Eat less and work out more. Watch carbs. I've been on test cyp for a couple years and I have veins all over. Drink lots and lots of water so your body does not think its dehydrated and hold water. The ester doesnt matter in my opinion. I have a friend who takes prop only and hes a bloated mess.. Bad diet.

    a lot of hormones create higher blood cells. even T4 causes enlarged spleens which in tern makes the spleen store more RBC's

    Does splenic clearance of RBCs decrease with age? That could explain the increase in polycythemia rates as men age.

    is donating blood really necessary 20yrs ago everyone ran test, deca, eq and anadrol for 12-14 weeks and wasn't necessary to donate. why all of a sudden oh you have to donate. when you come off it goes right back to normal. without donating.

    • @Holm3300
      @Holm3300 5 років тому +1

      Well, i donate blood every 3 month, just to be sure, i get some of the red bloodcells count down, (If there is too much), and also so my body can crete new cells again, it`s a good idea, but i also go for 12 weeks on normaly, and cruse 12 weeks , typical like that, blast and cruse, and if you go with EQ in your stack it`s always good to donate lets, say maybe 8 weeks in, cus if you got 16 weeks with EQ and you will have really thick blood and many red blood cells, and that also impact your breathing, if it`s too much, well atleast if you got for like 800 mg a weeks or so, but that`s up to ppl, i know many that dont donate, and keep blasting year around, but they also get really Red in there Skin and face, try and look on other ppl you know if they are red as well, and ask about thet donate, they probley not, hope it answer your question :-)

    • @AnabolicAdmin
      @AnabolicAdmin 5 років тому

      No, sorry. As a private practice we don't take insurance for our services. The reason so many doctors hustle through appointments with each patient or don't order advanced labs is in large part based on insurance reimbursements - they lose money if they spend more time than insurance will reimburse for, or order a lab insurance won't pay for. And they have to pay staff just to negotiate with insurance companies to get those reimbursements. We take a pass on that system. Our patients pay us directly and Dr. O'Connor spends significantly more time with each one. However if you become a patient and require medication, we will work with your insurance to cover the cost of that medication.

    Could Deca use 35+ years ago potentially be responsible for the current presence of, I believe it's called Lupus anticoagulant antibodies in one's blood? Should one question the necessity of prescribed blood thinners due to this "acquired - not hereditary" anomaly? How else might one have acquired the problem?

I have not been told anything about the medicines and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice? It would be much appreciated as I’m clueless and don’t wanna fuck myself up.

    fact is.... clinical trials showed that EQ at 12.5mg a week was enough to gain tissue.
    12.5mg a week....not 120 or a minimum of 500mg a week.
    deca is used at a clinical maximum of 200mg a week in men.....gained weight
    clinical research is interesting
