30 or so hours looking over TRT. Best video yet.
After devouring 30+ videos recently, this was some of the best TRT info I have found. Great presentation!
If this man ever opened his own clinic he’d be a multimillionaire in no time. He’s obviously the man when it comes to this subject.
This is a grossly underwatched interview. Tier 1 info here from a doctor that is the world’s foremost leader in research on this topic.

the pacience with small children has been my barrier to TRT and is the first time I hear that it is even better
Very underrated video. Dr. Morgentaler was there at the beginning before TRT was a therapy!
at what time of episode does he speak about the best protocols?
If you have all symptons and have Total Testosterone low ,you have to do TRT. Just simply like that.Every decade Testosterone it goes logre and lower .In my clinic I offer TRT ,to improve patient health with sexual dysfunction .
Dr. Morgontaler is right on from what I can see from trial on my own body. I was 315lbs, I did have Gastric Sleeve Surgery 7 years ago, I have maintained a weight of 170lbs to 180lbs for the last 6 years. My protocol weight training, crossfit, 5k's as well as taking Testosterone, HCG and Anostrozole.
Great discussion on obesity. Doctor says T will give energy and motivation and aid weight loss.
Here so its recommended again in my feed.

Great interview. Dr Morgentaler is a legend
at what time of episode does he speak about the best protocols?
He says from 27:25 onwards that the young guys have peak morning testosterone at about 500, and the mid-aged guys around 400 - 450. This is VERY different from the narrative pushed by social media and TRT clinics, according to which you are dead meat if you are under 800. His statement should have huge consequences for millions of men. I already feel much better. :)
I was always in the high 700s in my thirties and depends on how the person feels in the 500s if you feel fine and happy with that's great, it wasn't until my late 40s my testosterone dropped and started TRT at age 53 now 54 and my testosterone is around 890 and feel fantastic.
That's total as opposed to free.
Young guys don't take care of themselves. That number is skewed.
fantastic information. thank you, gentlemen.
Awesome episode
Awesome video
Excellent discussuion. Thank You ! Dr. Amit Mor
Very interesting thank you.
Extremely helpful information. Thanks for organising this podcast Ben.
I suspect for many people, getting an accurate testosterone reading is the first challenge. Depending on where you live, the second challenge may be getting TRT prescribed.
It would also be good to know if those with a past history of any type of cancer is a contraindication to preclude TRT being used.
An informative video from an expert in the field but enlightening as well ,taken to the fact the history of wrongfully executed treatment and trial and error processes by so called “experts” in the field. Research, education and analysis not blind obedience is an important factor that comes out of this interview. Kudos to his unwavering dedication.
I had low total T and normal mid level free T, lots of symptoms. TRT pushed free T to high normal, no symptoms.
Pretty basic information, but most of the male public will benefit from hearing this
I would have like to hear him speak about Hemoglobin and hematocrit levels when taking testosterone.
Dr. Neal Rouzier is the man
at what time of episode does he speak about the best protocols?
I take 100mg every four days. I've never felt like this in my whole life.
Do you take anything to control e2? What supplements?
Lol same
I'm 55 yo 3 years on trt 150mg pw split in two .. feeling great, libido, strength, stamina all dramatically improved..!!
This is not a physiological dose. It's not sustainable unfortunately. I know the feeling tho.
I'm sorry to hear that bro. TRT isn't for everyone.
Sod trt as long as your estradiol pathways are working celebrate, I struggle making estrogen even on trt
Uk doctors dont have a clue, they tried to give me 250mg sust once every 3 weeks! Love this podcast always listsen to it before bed, cheers!
Tell your Endo and nurse that you will handle the injections yourself. I pin 40mg twice weekly with insulin pins. Im more than happy with my blood levels, although my Endo constantly complains about my Free level being too high, I just remind him that all of blood markers are perfect, and as a really active 51 year old, im very happy with them.
@@pinkedhypnotherapy485where do you pin with insulin needles?
I agree with everything he says but I think total t is a very big indicator as well as free. I have low normal free and low total and have symptoms. Not a dr but just based off of my feelings
Question about Enclomiphene is answered with Clomid…
I'm sure the interviewer asked about hcg and clomiphene and not enclomiphene?
Morgenthaler never even mentioned normal versus optimal testosterone levels. Nor did he talk about androgen receptor sensitivity. Disappointing.
Holy crap Ben sounds like a cross between Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson
Hummm let me see mineral a good quality salt would do would do and I'm pretty sure you save a couple of bucks
Hmm, I don't know how to feel about the average total testosterone levels in young men being 500 and 400-500 for mid age.
Makes me feel like I made a mistake getting on myself then, I was averaging 350-420 and a free t of 7-8. I feel waaaay better now though. So I duno. Currently sitting at tt-720 FT-23 on trough.
I posted a similar comment a few days before you did. Since the testosterone topic is both hugely emotional and profitable, we cannot expect only honest information. Here is my explanation: Of course, one feels better at 800 than at 450, at least short-term. However, as Huberman puts it, "growth means aging". So, by getting your T to supraphysiological levels, you may pull forward your energy reserves, from 20 years from now to today, possibly at the expense of our health in 20 years. TRT at mass scale is still relatively young, so we do not know the long-term effect. Bro science and TRT clinics don't care about our long-term health.
@NYGuy2000 I very much understand where your coming from it's hard to say exactly how it's going to effect people in the masses very long term however testosterone therapy has been around since the 1930s and there are a number of men on it for decades without issues (20-40 years).
I have seen the data showing the change in average testosterone levels in the US and they are undeniably going down, along with sperm counts in men.
Personally I haven't felt better in all my life, more so on how testosterone has effected me on a psychological level. My depression has subsided I am no longer irritable and easily agitated, I am calm and collected for the most part, anxiety has very much improved. I'm not doing this for an appearance thing, I just want a quality life and data has shown low testosterone to be more detrimental to men's health as we age so it makes me feel good that I'm being proactive in my health I suppose. I would say anything over the lab ranges to be super physiologic so I can see Hubermans point if kept over the ranges could potentially rob energy output years down the road and therfor having potential consequences in the future.
I guess there is one sure fact in life that we are all going to die one day so why not try to make the best of it if we can.
@@tk4084 I totally get the psychological and the brain health effects of higher T. That's what would make it attractive to me. "Testosterone makes effort feel good" (Huberman).
Considering the ranges Morgentaler mentioned, were T levels truly so much higher 20 or 30 years ago? I am not downplaying the negative impact of endocrine disruptors via food, air, and skin (e. g. in the coating on inside of pizza cartons to prevent leaking, hand sanitizers, skin care, ...), but aren't we just following a narrative about higher T decades ago?
@NYGuy2000 See this is one thing I haven't yet experienced, T making effort feel good. I feel the same as I always have in that regard besides being a little more focused on certain tasks.
I don't think it's just endocrine disrupters I'm sure it has alot to do with lifestyle itself. Sedentary lifestyle with a lack of exercise and poor diet coupled with high amounts of stress. Studies have shown testosterone has been declining in men over the last few decades, Its showing how sick the population is getting with lifestyle & environmental factors and I think it's going to continue moving forward. the only thing we can do as an individual is take appropriate measures to ensure our own health. Definitely not doom and gloom but I think it could get ugly way into the future.
@@tk4084 Totally agree.
The intro s too long
Spelling & punctuation s too unconventional. Just busting your balls. Yeah I agree, short intro would be better. The content is pure gold though.
Just fast forward lmao. Smh, this isn't tv, lol. If they talk slow, I speed up the playback speed, I don't leave a comment like the world revolves around me. 😂
This is how F'ed up our medicine is. Science is ignored. Common sense is ignored.
And once you put billions in profit in the mix, Statins happen.
When I was premed (changed mind and did not go to Med school) half of my classmates were morons. And these went on to become doctors.
Obviously Dr. Morgentaler is one of the sharp ones. But he is swimming up stream.
The medical community is missing out on millions in revenue because men like myself do not "meet the criteria"
you lied he never covers your lieing clickbait
Please, in future podcasts make it more of a conversation and go a little back and forth. It felt a lot like an interview for a job. And at the end you cut off his spiel on T and heart disease, which wasn’t finished.
I loved the format. The doc is brilliant. I want to hear him and not someone who knows as much as I already do. Point taken though but I guess it’s a preference thing
Appreciate the video but over 15 min ignored
There was Never really a discussion about ACTIONs men could take to naturally help their testosterone levels. The Doctor was kinda boring and I don’t think I would want the book after listening to this.
Proviron. Danazol.
Can you say a few more words about what you mean, good sir? I have seen those names on the lists of my local suppliers but not sure what exactly they can do. Please provide your experience.
