One of the best things about lists like this, that feature only UA-cam patterns, is finding new channels to follow. :)

That’s how I found so many good channels! I found the 6-Day Star Blanket through one of these lists and I’m making it now! It’s a really pretty blanket, well written pattern (for the most part), easy to understand and it can be SO unique to your style, or more than likely whatever yarn you have. 😂

some designers use African flower grannies to make toys, Heidi bear is a well-known one and Raitoharju's has the lazy leopard on ravelry which is free.

Just wanted to say Hi, and think it's wonderful how your being so generous by letting other creative people have a shout out on your page. So many people just want subscribers themselves that they would never advertise other creators. So I'm Thank-you on their behalf ❤❤❤

I love looking at micro crocheted granny squares. I find it amazing that anyone could make them that small! Granny squares were my foundation for learning to crochet when I was in highschool with my grandma. I made bags which my friends loved and then I ended up teaching them to crochet. I hope to get into hexicardigans in the near future. 💖

I’ve tried the micro crochet and can’t even get a starting chain because it’s so hard to see. Major props to anyone doing micros. Fr

Thanks for another awesome video. You are still helping and inspiring crocheters even if you aren't actively making (or making as much) atm! You have also kept me company through my current pain flare that has kept me awake all night, so thank you for that as well! i have too many wips right now but the list of things i want to make just keeps getting longer😂

I hope you're feeling better and your pain flare has eased! And I 100% feel that, I have both too many WIPs and too many project I want to turn into WIPs 😂

Craig, it’s beautiful! I know it’s not finished but it would make a great vest! Gorgeous! Can’t wait for the next one.

I guess it’s obvious how much I love the granny stitch and granny squares, eh? Lol. There are SOOO MANY options for them! The squares (& the stitch) can be used for literally everything I can think of, you know? Regardless, love how you categorized and reviewed them in this video! Excellent idea. I’ve been following along via Patreon & find it super fun. I, too, learned to crochet just last year to deal with a significant health crisis. You’re right, SO MANY of us are finding creativity to be a groovy outlet to help us cope! Love it!
    Cheers from Ohio! ☺️🫶🏻🧶

I made my first granny squares this year and now its a beautiful lapghan on the back of my recliner. It’s amazing in the hot weather cause you don’t stick to the leather! 😂
Now I want to do one with the mini grannies.

I've made rugs and I've seen ottoman/foot rest covers. There are some patterns I've seen that use hexagon grannies to make plushies which I so badly want to do. I've also seen someone cover their computer chair including the arms in granny squares. Table cloths (got one on my side table right now).

So many fun patterns! I also started making granny squares, a long time ago, without a plan but then abandoned it. Might need to pick it back up now. Have been playing with hexagone granny squares recently and that is also very fun! Thank you for all the tips!

I'm jumping on the Red Heart Granny Square yarn train, so once I get around to figuring that out, these patterns will really help! I hope!

Good luck! Based on the reviews I've seen, it's like a constant game of yarn chicken.

@@geraltrivia6148you have to take the time to work out your gauge on it. And you have to pay attention to how much you cut for tails. Imo I’d rather just buy the separate colors.
I had to go up .5-1 hook size, tighten my tension and then loosen at key points to get it to work for me. I gave up. I have 3 skeins of the white/cream/brown color way.
I’m going to use it to make a granny stitch shawl. I think the color changes might look pretty in a shawl. I didn’t like it for granny’s at all.

    Great ideas!
Did you mention pot holders? If you make them in wool, they will have good insulation properties.

Thanks for so many beautiful ways of using the granny squares. I have my own take on a cardigan with granny squares. You can see how it is in this video: ua-cam.com/video/4GZVkTQhqx4/v-deo.htmlsi=88tD_tirLFc4Vora. I even think that I was watching some of your videos while making it, so towards the end your voice pops up hehe 😉
I really love your videos, and you have always interesting content, - and together with your soothing voice it's perfect for crocheting along, while watching 🤩

Just a bit of advice don't make bikinis. Even if lined do not go well with water. They were popular when I was young and worse decision ever for those who wore them.
