    // WHO I AM ►►
    I'm Greg Preece, a UA-camr based out of the United Kingdom. I'm obsessed with how educational UA-camrs get more views and sales on UA-cam. I share what I find from studying viral UA-camrs and also what I learn from selling my own digital products and services as a UA-camr myself. There are also interviews with educational UA-cam entrepreneurs to show how they get viral views and what business models they're using to create automated income from their UA-cam videos.

    This is really great info. Also, George is the absolute voice clone for Ali - down to the prosody of how he ends his sentences. Either he's perfectly "in character" as Ali's writer constantly or Ali chose someone whose natural rhythm was identical to his, but either way it's an absolute bullseye of a match!

      Interesting observation, It's crazy how similar the intonation and pauses are.

    tHank you for taking the time to share this information. It is a fascinating science!
    (my channel is too small and the videos aren't good enough for UA-cam to want to show them, however I'm sure the info will help many others).
    Have a great weekend!

    Oh my goodness!! So much information, good information I should add! I spend way too much time explaining stuff after I’ve given the tip 🤦🏼‍♂️ invaluable lesson to learning. Thank you both.

    Start with the point and than explain why. Make it a bit controversial and say something like " now I know what you thinking ..but if you listen to my points throughout the video you'll maybe agree with me " ...when I do this my retention line is pretty straight

    Yeah my retention rate is horrifying. Attention spans are terrible these days. I know my content isn't that bad. People just click on videos for the heck of it these days, watch 15 seconds and leave.

      Nice weapon skills, but to provide some feedback, I watched 2 videos, in the first 15 seconds you didn't tell why me why I should watch the video, so I didn't know what the value would be. Keep up the great knife skills.

      @AlanCameronSweeney It's pretty self-explanatory. It takes most people years to learn these weapons. My channel is simply art, entertainment, and fitness. Like I said attention spans are terrible.

      Attention spans aren’t horrible. Think about it-people can binge watch Netflix for hours uninterrupted. The problem is that there’s so much good content out there that we don’t have to waste time on the mediocre. I wouldn’t assume anything in your content is self explanatory.

    If it was that easy you and George would be bigger and Ali would have more channels just as big. Hard to replicate success even with these tips but food for thought. Great that you are trying something different and think that these videos are gold in terms of quality!

      I’m only just learning about this stuff myself and George doesn’t have a UA-cam channel.
      I’ll definitely be acting on this stuff in the future though.
      I’m glad that you’re enjoying the videos 🔥

    Actually, I hate those youtubers and videos which makes these techniques, and I tend to move from them away. They make me watch just for the sake of watching it. I prefer to watch videos where I don't want to skip ahead because it is interesting to listen, not because you are delaying your point.

      As long as you use metaphor and ask questions (like Film Booth and Creator Booth do) they do keep it engaging and actually helps to explain the things better than just listing the point.
      So yes, it helps retention. But it also improves the video
