Thank you. I think you've hit the button on my personal health issue here.
Was a marathon runner, workaholic, over performer (in a nice way-being Irish) and just ballooned for no apparent reason. I meditate and have started yoga.
Thank you for the information regarding Phosphatidylserine. I will try it. Have ordered some and will give feedback in a few weeks.

How about "Bio-Prompters"? It has dual Arts and Science connotations while more sophisticated and constructive. Really touched by the depth of Dr. Gottfried, whom I believe is a born healer accumulating lifetimes of merits to heal our modern medicine! We are in the best of times, the worst of times. It is the age of wisdom, when hearts merge with minds! Thanks for posting.

I started bio-hacking back in the late 60's. I learned a lot about my body in a visceral way (no words or definitions)...I then ignored the rules for my own body and was approaching 275 lbs in January of 2015. I came across the Paleo lifestyle a couple of years ago, the UA-cam vids related to that and finally started it in late January 2015. My current weight is 240 lbs & I still have a few pounds to go. My BP is normal now and it had not been normal for quite some time.

A very engaging conversation and a reminder of what creates health; and how a total lifestyle transformation is often required. Very positive!
I respectfully encourage Sara and John as leaders and influencers in the field to stay in their power, to speak up and be bold and use terms such as 'holistic' and 'spiritual'. Rather than 'woo woo' which to my ears is disparaging as mostly used by people who are as yet stuck in old paradigm unconscious beliefs and behaviours and who use that expression to belittle what they do not (yet!) understand or have relationship to.
That said, I appreciate how your work straddles 'both worlds'; you are doing a terrific job!! Many thanks for this video.

This is such a good thing!, people should be in control of the medicine they get. The most doctors are only allowed to give the medicine, the big insurance company’s allow them to give. And these are not always the best for the patient! I hope the people can decide what they want for them self.

Ok I love you guys ! :) 19:16m I think there are so many people out there that resonate so much with that message /philosophy and simply be trapped by finances learning yoga cost money learning meditation cost money. Learning material / information is limited even on line and its all mimicry when you do learn it via a book or online, not to discount that imitation is the base of fundamental learning skills but what I am saying is that people myself included may feel like most messages are vague and feel lost as to the exact HOW to achieve this success, inner divinity bliss what have you

Yoga is a Hindu practice. The only lasting inner peace and joy can come from Jesus. Meditation on The Word of God "The Bible" is the way to go. Spend time with Jesus, exercise and eat right. If you want some UA-cam videos listen to Kevin Zadai. I pray that you find what you are looking for in Jesus.

You go girl! I couldn't have said all of that better myself ! Problem is also with the growing "business" of education. Sooo expensive! all of that translates to physicians having to have higher out put / turn around patient times to re cap some of the funds from moneys spent on education. Let me not even get started on health ins which should not even be named so.

Men have been saying that things "sound gay" , that someone is crying like a girl and that people look or act "like a sissy" but one woman says a word sound masculine to her and a bunch of men in the comment section get triggerd. Oh, the irony 🙃

I came here to listen for information about hormones, so far (20:27) I've heard nothing but bullshit gobble. Please, don't waste peoples time with misleading titles, or perhaps divide the video into topics by tags. I appreciate the effort but discussions about "divinity" was not what i was searching for ^^.

Have listened to the first 10 mins and thought it was brilliant - great question from Jonathan of where the medical community is heading with their approach and was useful hearing Sara's insight as an insider in the medical profession.

I got my answers from the book "Rethinking Fatigue" by Nora Gadgaudas, it covered this topic pretty well, and it had actual info which can help someone with issues rather than pointless conversations^^.

DmitriSochlioukov there was definitely no structure according to the topic. the conversation got more interesting toward the end in which i wish they would have started in the beginning and build from it and added more answers to the problem than just a conversation.

Bio hacker is not a masculine or feminine word. Just like doctor, lawyer, entrepreneur, the term bio-hacker is a gender neutral word, as it should be.

    • @katiie7

The postmodern bias is to only see masculine in its negative.. Western culture is becoming is saturated with this attitude... and of course poor excuses for men which only perpetuate these perceptions. Not helpful, or healthy

I want to biohack my subconscious although getting the knowledge for it is AGAIN with my awake conscious = beta brain waves . I just remember before I got my period I was sooo happy and learning as a child was a breeze because of the Theta Brain Waves of children or the less developed neural system of children. But I want to go back to the theta state as an adult without being asleep or hypnotized. Being an adult is miserable and THIS video helped nothing except promote the people in it. And the bible says,, physician heal thyself. Sara misquoted...

    • @thedativecase9733

That wasn't male bashing - she was just saying how she felt - is she not entitled to an opinion.? If she'd said" A lot of men are preening, over sensitive, narcissistic cunts who need to get over their fucking selves" THAT would have been male bashing. Please learn to differentiate.

I am sad to say I have to agree with some of the the other commenters ...boring, oh so boring I HAD TO STOP LISTENING. I tuned in to learn about how to balance one's hormones not listen to boring talk. Sure Yoga is great, destressing is great, starting the day off with communication with the Lord is great but where is the talk about how to balance hormones without drugs. Seriously disappointed with this video...and some others with Sara Gottfried.
