Very good commentary. Thanks! Here is a nice translation: The Lord has filled me with joy because you again showed interest in me. You were interested but did not have an opportunity to show it. I’m not saying this because I’m in any need. I’ve learned to be content in whatever situation I’m in. I know how to live in poverty or prosperity. No matter what the situation, I’ve learned the secret of how to live when I’m full or when I’m hungry, when I have too much or when I have too little. I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me. (God's Word, trans.)

Repeating "I can do all things through Christ" was how I got through childbirth. It gave me hope. One way or the other, God would get us through. Probably not the most contextual application, but maybe so. :)

Very good explanation. Absolutely I learnt that in my walk with god over time. I pray the world hears this especially in this time. 🙏❤😀

In severe suffering I know he will make a way and I trust him completely. Wow yes I see now that I had to go through so so much for his glory. 😀💯

My family and I are so grateful for all of the videos you create! I agree that this is one of the most misused verses. Context is so important!

Do you know who never skips leg day? Batman.

Would you say that rather than “do all things,” perhaps the phrase should say, “‘endure all things?” I’m just thinking of the context of privation in prison here.

do you have any biblical examples of the consumer victim anthropology that (Satan) the world uses to strip us of contentment? besides Paul's personal example of Godly contentment, in what other ways does Jesus strengthen us in hope and love in our daily living?

Love this but dislike the shot taken at the guy at the gym. How do you know he isn't wearing that because he knows the true meaning?

Paul was a man not a woman. Did Paul have any children that he had to worry about, that might have had any ailments? Did Paul have to fend for himself?

Dude just read it. You're over doing it breaking it down as if every word is a key to heaven. It's almost disrespectful or mocking the way you're trying to understand Gods kindness for his children by disecting every word.
