Amen, and amen. To be forgiven, and baptized, a saint according to the work of God the Father through Jesus Christ -- grace and peace, amen. Thank you, Pastor.

Thank you Pastor Wolfmueller. I love the Grappling series! My favorite verse in Philippians (at this time in my life!) is Philippians 2:13 It is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. It reminds me that it is God, by his Spirit that is at work in me.

Thank you for all the background info of the letter and a synopsis of Paul's journeys and events in Philippi. Good to learn that saints are the forgiven and baptized ones who have God's name on them.

Thanks Pastor - this is awesome! Do you think Paul's (inspired) word "slaves" might also emphasize their partnership since his history with the Philippians is so personal? I realize it isn't either or (authoritative or partners) but do you think both thoughts might be captured in that word? Or is that a stretch?
