Yamaha 115hp outboard Waterpump replacement.

Great video. I liked how you showed what order all the parts go in. One thing you did was to put the impeller cup on then you put the housing on. You got lucky as i tried for over an hour then I realized the cup would side off over the retaining ring. I was able to put the cup in the housing and side it on in less the a minute. Also having the cup in the housing helped to keep the gasket in place.

Couple of details you missed.
Use a torque wrench for bolts.
Bolt tightening torque
12mm 6 LU 27’# (10x45mm)
12mm 1 Zinc 31’# (10x45mm)
4 water pump housing 13’#
You didn’t pack the three metal washers that fit over the shaft correctly. There are three washers. The flat washers go on top and bottom. The wavy washer goes in the middle. You only used two washers. When placing the plastic part on the shaft you need to pull up on the shaft so the plastic piece is correctly seated. If not you will get prop chatter when shifting into idle.

Never drained the oil. so no need to fill
