I'm over 50 and an Air Force veteran and this is the first time I've ever heard that verse! How did I get this far and not know there was a second verse? What a shame! When I in elementary school, we used to sing the National Anthem and recite the Pledge of Allegiance at school. Wow, just wow! Unbelievable.

The Taylor County (Florida) sheriff's department weekly publishes the mug shots of all their visitors to their iron bar motel. I always look forward to page 12 of the newspaper each week to see the fine citizens that earned an overnight stay.

@@CarlCrumley in China, some cities have facial recognition cameras on the streets. If they see someone jaywalking, it zooms in on their faces, blasts it on a huge billboard, pings the offender's cellphone, establishes identity, deducts a fine from their bank account and issues demerits on their social credit score. When their score drops to punishment level, access to money to buy necessities is denied for a period of time to teach them a lesson about how to behave in society. Also, they'll be shunned by others who are trying to keep their own score high.
This is not a red/blue situation at all. Even this can happen where it's red and that is just as scary. Loved my many RV camping experience in Yosemite. Had some great hikes there.

The police did not refuse to release the mugshots. Their reply said that they did not have them.The jail had them, and the police gave them a link to the sheriff department that runs the jail.
Good point. If you want to sensationalize the situation for clicks you say they refused.

It was verse four. Verse three is about slavery. A fifth verse was later written by a different person. We use the first for time sake and since its focused on the flag.
Wow, I really love the ending song that brings goosebumps. I also served during Vietnam and I take a lot of pride in my country. The freedom that we once had that we know longer have in our own country, but we will get it back.

don't put a gun in a pocket and sleep with it in a pocket. This is not a safe practice. Please get a proper holster and keep the gun in the holster on your hip. This is far safer and less likely the trigger gets pulled accidently.

If there’s no consequences to actions, they’ll continue doing the bad behavior. Think about teaching your child. If they make a mistake, you discipline them. Letting these people out does nothing.
As far as what I would do, I always carry. If I had a slide in, I would keep the truck back window open, especially at night. If someone tried to take my vehicle with me in it, they’d find themselves seeing a firearm.

What do people expect when Colorado is California 2.0!!
My HOA won’t let folks stay in our travel trailer on our lot - it’s a pretty common law in most of the six towns/states we’ve lived in. Are they treating the criminal too well? Yes, but that’s as common in Boulder as it is Fort Collins or Colorado Springs - the accused get out on bail and are innocent until proven guilty. In this case, the accused didn’t show up for court and he will pay for that as well. Your follow up would be interesting……

Uhhh,I must have dozed off,how did he actually steal the camper? Were the keys left in the ignition or cab? I mean I get it,put the jacks down,deflate all the tires ,disconnect everything under the hood, carry five guns with you wherever you go 👀, but usually these guys take the course of least resistance. Anyway good to hear it turned out ok for them.

After 30 years in law enforcement (retired almost 5 years), nothing surprises me anymore🙄 The Bible predicted that lawlessness would abound in the end times, Matthew 24:12. And each day it gets much worse. As for our broken and corrupt justice system it seems to follow right along with Isaiah 5:20, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter”. So glad not to be dealing with repeat offending criminals anymore, it’s out of control and so far beyond ridiculous - 😑

Lucky the rig wasn't wrecked while fleeing the police. Imagine being trapped in a camper for that ride. Having lived in CO, not surprised by the legal response taken. The thief is probably already back on the streets, driving another stolen vehicle.

I believe we are up to 26 Constitutional carry states. And stick with them as much as possible. In my lifetime. I have had to draw 4 times in self-defense. Thankfully, they had the good sense to run.
