banglore has good climate, infrastructure, job opportunities etc...there are not many big cities which is developed like banglore......but in tamilnadu there are many cities not only chennai but coimbatore, madurai,, hosur, tuticorin, trichy, salem etc..... makes india's top industrialised state...

Anyways U.K. is having better roads, railways, schools colleges, hospitals compared to earlier. We being people of South Karnataka welcome the development in UK. #3 yes its a shame. KA should invest in port and road infrastructure. Ports are the key to create a strong manufacturing economy. Thats how TN stayed ahead all these centuries (British developed Madras port)

It is very clear that TN has better human development, better infrastructure, better urbanization, bigger industrial base and all this is combined with 11% of India’s IT industry share as well. In all this karnataka falls short significantly even though the IT share of the state is 38% as this looks more fragile and concentrated. Karnataka definitely needs better diversification. We should keep learning from each others. There could be some learning’s from UP Bihar as well for the so called developed states.

Starting from 1) Chennai-Tiruvallur-Vellore Cluster: Health care capital of the world, 2nd or 3rd largest IT industry, Leather cluster of factories, Space startup capital of India, one of the largest Port, Auto industries capital of India, etc. 2) West of Tamil Nadu Hosur cluster: one of the largest Industrial zone of India. 3) Another west of Tamil Nadu: Coimbatore-Namakkal-Tirupur-Karur cluster: Textile machinery capital of India, 1000s of textile industries, trading, exports 4) Middle of Tamil Nadu: Trichy cluster: over 1000 Engineering factories and education capital of Tamil Nadu. 5) Southern of Tamil Nadu: Dindigul-Madurai-Virudunagar-Sivakasi cluster: Fire works industry capital of India, 1000s of Textile industries. The whole state is filled with industries and these industries have been distributed very well in all the Districts, across the state and job creation, which is unique among Indian states. Since 1967, when the DMK became the first State party to form a state government in India after independence pursued Inclusive Growth that put Tamil Nadu on a par with some of the European countries rather than the so-called Gujarat model which is only about GDP growth .
Government of Karnataka should realise that there are other parts and districts in Karnataka, not just Bangalore. There is a stark difference between North and South Karnataka.

The main reason for holistic development in TN is also due to good bureaucrats and officers. The govt trusts them and they implement the schemes effectively. The percolation rate of any schemes is high in TN

The thing Karnataka lacking which TN have advantage is the port infrastructure. Containers from Bangalore load via Chennai and Mumbai but not through KA. Cities or states with acess to multimodal transport hubs set to thrive. TN have put focus on the development with better connectivity and with tons of new roads and Airport projects announced. TN marching steadfastly towards the 1T mark. Still its a long way to go. Hope the Govt tackles it well

3. For karnataka everything is too much concentrated in bangalore. We need more hubs and we know that it takes some time where as TN is ready for faster expansion as development is more evenly distributed with hubs like Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, trichy..
4. It’s personal opinion, Modiji has placed chola sengol in parliament. It hugely signifies the resurgence of our civilizational ethos. If TN can be the flag bearer of it then I am all for it. Civilizational aspects are bigger than state level aspects for me..

We Tamilians want to work collaboratively with the centre, however the BJP and Modi are blocking all development projects in TN. The BJP is only approving projects to states that voted for them. This is such a dirty politics, hence we Tamilians are working 10 times harder to develop our state and move forward.

It is very clear that TN has better human development, better infrastructure, better urbanization, bigger industrial base and all this is combined with 11% of India’s IT industry share as well. In all this karnataka falls short significantly even though the IT share of the state is 38% as this looks more fragile and concentrated. Karnataka definitely needs better diversification. We should keep learning from each others. There could be some learning’s from UP Bihar as well for the so called developed states.

Starting from 1) Chennai-Tiruvallur-Vellore Cluster: Health care capital of the world, 2nd or 3rd largest IT industry, Leather cluster of factories, Space startup capital of India, one of the largest Port, Auto industries capital of India, etc. 2) West of Tamil Nadu Hosur cluster: one of the largest Industrial zone of India. 3) Another west of Tamil Nadu: Coimbatore-Namakkal-Tirupur-Karur cluster: Textile machinery capital of India, 1000s of textile industries, trading, exports 4) Middle of Tamil Nadu: Trichy cluster: over 1000 Engineering factories and education capital of Tamil Nadu. 5) Southern of Tamil Nadu: Dindigul-Madurai-Virudunagar-Sivakasi cluster: Fire works industry capital of India, 1000s of Textile industries. The whole state is filled with industries and these industries have been distributed very well in all the Districts, across the state and job creation, which is unique among Indian states. In Tamil nadu 5/10 have enterpreneurial spirit. Thats why TN has many industrial clusters. In Karnataka 2/10 have this, Bangalore is the only Industrial spot and almost 90% are owned by immigrants , other state corporates and MNC.
Many companies have their manufacturing setup at hosur TN and office at Bangalore for marketing purposes

3. For karnataka everything is too much concentrated in bangalore. We need more hubs and we know that it takes some time where as TN is ready for faster expansion as development is more evenly distributed with hubs like Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, trichy..
4. It’s personal opinion, Modiji has placed chola sengol in parliament. It hugely signifies the resurgence of our civilizational ethos. If TN can be the flag bearer of it then I am all for it. Civilizational aspects are bigger than state level aspects for me..

The thing Karnataka lacking which TN have advantage is the port infrastructure. Containers from Bangalore load via Chennai and Mumbai but not through KA. Cities or states with acess to multimodal transport hubs set to thrive.
TN have put focus on the development with better connectivity and with tons of new roads and Airport projects announced. TN marching steadfastly towards the 1T mark. Still its a long way to go. Hope the Govt tackles it well
