    Absolutely love my Seeking Hit. I got mine in .308 with and extra 6.5CM barrel. I broke my barrel in and it’s a fricken tack driver for sure.

    great video. Thank you for taking the time and made this. I was looking to purchase another rifle, and this was on my list but after this video. I will stick with my Tikka T3X Tac A1

    Awesome, im excited to see how this rifle turns out. It will be interesting to see how the barrel speeds up as you get more rounds on it.

      @RobsReloading  2 роки тому

      Yes I'll probably try some of these same loads just to see at what point and how much the barrel does speed up. As I'm writing this comment it has 50 rounds down the pipe.

    I have a seekins 6mm creed it’s does the same and you will find reviews on UA-cam saying they don’t feed that nice I mean you can feel sometimes how the bolt will catch even without a mag in

    The 6gt will put the 6 arc bolt gun to shame. 6 arc is a great gas gun round

    Very cool. I am still waiting for sportmens to get the switchback in stock. They have a some in Cali and Montana. But they won’t ship. The 110 tac is easier to find but I’d rather not have a 18 inch barrel on the arc. Of course savage puts a short barrel on the axis hb model as well. It’s crazy to me that they have two axis models one with a 22 and the other with the 18 but the tac is 18 only. Maybe I am being overly concerned but varget is hard to find and primers are still expensive so I’d like to be able to get the projectiles smoking with the least amount of components lol. Maybe we will get lucky and bergara with make a 6arc in the hmr stock with a decent barrel length. Hard telling. Have a nice day and beautiful rifle.

      Yes some guns are still really hard to track down. I got lucky with my switchback and found one local. Was also lucky with the GT coming in months before expected.

    I was looking at those and their DMR gas guns in 6 ARC, but was put-off that they had only 1 in 8-inch twist rate. That is true for their 6 CM as well.

    • @RobsReloading
      @RobsReloading  2 роки тому +1

      Seems 1:8 should stabilize all but the heaviest 6mm bullets, but do think they should offer a 7.5 or 7.75 twist. The rifle has a quick change barrel system so if the barrel gets burnt out will replace with a 7.5 twist.

    • @MrBoostin18
      @MrBoostin18 2 роки тому

      I’ve noticed a lot of manufactures are coming in slower on the twist rates. Howa is sending their factory bolt 6arc out with 1:8 twist rates. Should be 1:7.5 or 1:7 no doubt for heavies.

      @@MrBoostin18 i have a 1:7 in my PMR pro and from 105 hybrids to 115 DTACs it is a tack driver. Tbh I'd recommend 7.5 or faster unless you plan on sticking to 105-107gr bullets. This cartridge really shines with the 109 LRHT, 110 A-tips and 115 DTAcs with RL 16 or staball 6.5, or105s with varget

    First, thank you for the very informative video. I've only been shooting rifles for about four years. I have a Ruger Percision Rifle in 6.5 CM. I'm looking for my next rifle. I would like to purchase a Seekins Havak HIT rifle in 6 GT. Based on the issues you've had with the magazine, would you recommend this rifle?

      It’s a Seekins havak hit. You can’t buy the chassis alone. It’s sold as a complete rifle.

    Will you 6ARC magazine from the MDT Chassis work with the 6 GT? Curious as to differences.

      6 arc mag only allows like 2.4" coal. So unless shooting very short oal it would not be ideal. It does look like dasher mags go out to about 2.5". Most of the consensus online sounds like if I still have issues to try a metal American rifle company 308 mag.

  • @MrBoostin18

    What's the diffrence between 6GT or 6CM . I take it the 6GT bas bigger or efficent case

    • @RobsReloading
      @RobsReloading  2 роки тому +1

      6GT is the same diameter case but a little shorter in length. It sits right between dasher and creedmoor. A little slower than 6 CM with less powder/more barrel life

      @@RobsReloading Awesome Thanks.
      I got into Precision based shooting about 18 months ago when I picked up 6ARC Gas Gun Barrel . The main range near me that does PRS type matches only goes to 800 yards for non Sanctioned matches. The bigger PRS matches they open up to 1200+ yards. I originally built my 6ARC around 600 yards . I'll more than likely pick up 22" 6ARC or I might pick up one of these Havoks. I definitely need precision Bolt action in my collection and definitely wanna stay with 6mm

      6GT will supposedly get more barrel life then a 6 creed with the same velocity. Guy locally shoots one with 109 Berger hybrids at 3000fps

    • @seanwhite304
      @seanwhite304 2 роки тому +1

      @@aaronedwards4755 Any PRS style rifle that has 3k+ barrel life is win win situation. That's very cool that you can have 3k FPS and still maintain 3k+ barrel life . I didnt think that was possible lol..

    • @jasongraves3091
      @jasongraves3091 2 роки тому +2

      The GT will not run with the Creed easily hits 3200 and will exceed 3300 most times. The GT tops out at 3150 and if u run it at 3150 your brass will be gone in 3 loadings. The GT was an attempt by George Garner to push a cartridge for PRS matches. It’s worked to some and flopped for others. For me I find it lacking but thats just an opinion that I have. I know PRS shooters who swapped and smoked barrels in 1500 rounds with the GT so they went back to the 6 Dasher or the 6BRA. It’s all about opinion for the most part.
