It's much easier to fit the blade if you do it before you instal the bottom sponge. Also in my experience he blade doesn't really seem to cut human skin yerry well & you'd really have to press it up against the blade for a while before it filled its way through, but anyone with normal reactions would retract long before that. I've not managed to cut into my skin after regularly using them using them on large & tiny frags for over 12 years now anyway. Obviously the blade is quite good at cutting harder things, which includes fingernails so that is one to be aware of ✌😆 As well as safety glasses you should probably wear a mask to stop breathing in what's being splattered at your face... not that I do (Do as I Say, not As I Do 😅) because wearing a mask steams up your safety glasses which is just uncomfortable & infuriating, especially on an all day fragging session. I have paid the price a couple of times when fragging pallys etc & felt ill for the night so I may try out something like a face shield in the future.
Can you use this saw to cut through caribsea dry rock? I have some corals I’ll need to transfer off an aqua scape so I’m looking at using this to get it off as a chunk (some mounded favias ans gonis)
@@Merknilash Yes I have done similar to what you are talking about many times. It can be a bit of a pain cutting large rocks, especially if they are dense plus some may struggle to fit through the cutting height etc but it is doable.
What do you do for cleanup after you are done using it? Do you rinse till you get the salt out of there?
Do as I Say, not As I Do! lol
Thanks for the support! I'll be getting your corals out to you this week.
@@MadHattersReef I may have more. Placed some bids on today's auction. You are a bad influence 😆
haha
