I saw Arch Enemy opening for Iron Maiden 20 years ago and the reaction of the boomers was worth the price alone.
I saw that lineup in SoCal, I think Hatebreed was on it. It worked! I didn't think twice of the lineup.

The old Mayhem Fest tours were like this. Had a lot of the more intense stuff on during the day then have the more mainstream metal bands come on at night. They were all bangers.
Yeah. The year I went to Mayhem fest the night bands were like Slipknot, Slayer, Motorhead and the bands earlier in the day were like Asking Alexandria and The Devil Wears Prada. I've also seen a fest headlined by FFDP with like Emmure and Trivium earlier.

I like Five Finger Death Punch and was going to it anyway; then I saw Slaughter to Prevail is on the tour. I missed out on Slaughter last time they were in my city (I slept in and missed it cuz I work overnight shifts. Shush) so I’m glad I get another shot to see them

We had a weirder festival in Australia called Good things.
Headlined by Devo, Limp Bizkit and Fallout Boy, but also featuring Slaughter to Prevail.
When I was in high school just getting into metal, I would play the American Capitalist cd all the time. One of the gateway metal bands. Still haven’t seen FFDP before. I wish we got the cancelled 2020 lineup of FFDP, Papa Roach, I Prevail, and Ice Nine Kills

As a fan of all 3 acts involved, this is a geniune unhinged lineup. FFDP was one of the first metal bands I've got into, no I won't claim they're the best or heaviest band because since then I'm a huge core guy. Seen FFDP before twice (with metallica and their 2022 tour) so honestly I was alright with maybe not going but seeing Manson (hopefully cleaned up) and FINALLY seeing Slaughter to Prevail because me and my buddies were like yeah the moment they're in town we are going. Its truly the wife beater tour 2024 though.

In Europe (or at least in some european countries) the special act is going to be Ice Nine Kills...unfortunately my only chance to see INK so I'll have to endure the rest ig.

It reminds me when "In Flames" opened for "Nightwish" last year in Greece 🤣😂. Everyone was so confused and "In Flames" felt so out of place ... Weirdest concert I've been to.
This feels kinda like last year when Amon Amarth opened for Ghost. Sure they both have a huge stage show component and their both Swedish but the music is super different. I like both bands so I thoroughly enjoyed it but you could tell that some of the people coming for Ghost were not accustom to the heaviness of Amon Amarth.
Hands down hardest I’ve ever laughed watching Nik. I’ve been subbed for like a decade.

Yeah I do, I've seen FFDP & Manson at Knotfest/Ozzfest, but I'm so looking forward to seeing Slaughter to prevail, I once saw a tour with Cypress hill & slipknot, now that was a different vibe tour

I remember accidentally unsubscribing and not realizing it for like a week because I thought that it was just a slow week.
i went to a show with As I Lay Dying followed by Behemoth. Also went to a show that had Morbid Angel followed by Superjoint Ritual. Neither was a festival just a regular smaller venue.
It’s gonna be great! And five days after Iprevail and Halestorm. August is gonna be super hot.

I was surprised when I saw there’s a tour with Ra, Flaw, Soil, and headlined by The Union Underground playing in the middle of nowhere in Maine. Their poster is some sort of back to the future reference with a delorean in it. I’d totally go, but it’s like 3h north of me in NH. The most random place I’ve seen a concert listed.
I’m going to the Slaughter to Prevail concert that MM and 5 Finger happen to be playing the after party. Seriously though I have my pit ticket for the Biloxi show and am only going because of Slaughter. I’ve seen both MM and 5Finger (right after The Bleeding was released in a club) but I’m going for STP.
I dont know. Back in the day, I had tixkets to a tour that was rage against the machine and beastie boys co-headlining, with No Doubt and Busta Rhymes as the opener. Tour ended up cancelled cause I think a beastie boys guy broke his arm and then RATM broke up, but that could have been in the running.
Tbf I feel like if ya like one of those acts you'll like at least one other. No Doubt is a prolific Ska punk band, beastie boys and rage against the machine inspired alotta nu metal and rap rock and combined those genres, and Busta rhymes makes sense because rage against the machine and beastie boys also have rap elements.

This past saturday I saw, Avenged Sevenfold is touring rifht now with Poppy & Sullivan King (the metal loving daddy, dubstep rave dj).
Like wtf?! So many people were dead the whole show like the entire venue/arena (btw i was at the Q where the Cavs play in Cleveland) that big bitch was 95% dead untill AS was on..
I loved all of the show and love dubstep, even actually only went for Poppy but was plesently suprised by SK 😊
I was at the show this past Monday night and have to say, you were spot on. The place was dead until Avenged came out. IMO they missed the mark a little with the openers, but oh well. Great show though!

I’m going to a festival in my country (Spain) this summer and we have Europe headlining and Eluveitie (a pretty heavy folk metal band with gutterals and stuff) playing right before them. But I thinks that’s probably weirder lol

Sucks because they're both so good, my dad (in his 50s at the time) loved the latter in particular. Wish he was still around for the big revival/explosion in the number of artists making things in those areas, he would have loved Electric Callboy, Bad Omens, Dayseeker...

Blackfield brides, I have no idea.I didn't really care for them ever.They are always boring to me. And only when I'm dead.I think it was just after that One vocalist left.

I like lineups like this. 1 year or so ago I saw kalandra and monuments open for leprous. 3 very different bands and it was fucking awesome.

But no one's talking about Creed with 3 Doors Down and Bush lol. Thankfully I live in Denver, our local metal scene is the best. All of the best bands for $25 each
