While they do in fact share the same mass, for example 1kg of iron would be a small dense rod, while 1kg of feathers would be a stuffed bag. Since the weight-distribution is different, different amount of energy required to lift them, therefore they do in fact differ in weight, and 1kg of iron heavier because the focused weight requires more energy.
