If you charge with rein you have a 99% chance of hitting a random mercy in the backline. Trust me, i have been on both sides of that one.

I think the worst ability is still Reaper's teleport.
Reaper can at least go to high ground or flank

U just reignited my interest in playing Tanks. I had left it and started playing DPS seeing useless Tracers, Genjis, Widows, Hanzos all around. "Self-less" is the word.

The issue when I play tanks is that I never know if I'm actually accomplishing anything lmao. It's not like healers where you can see tangible evidence like how much you've healed or assists, or DPS where you can see how many elims vs how many deaths you've had. Then even if I'm doing what I'm supposed to be, my team has to be doing what they're supposed to be doing for it to matter. In plat, it's a toss up on whether your dps are going to be any good. There's so many games where one side has fantastic dps and the other side has terrible dps and that almost always determines who wins.
I play support a ton too and it kind of feels like it's impossible to rank up playing support. I checked the weekly report thing from oversumo of my comp games. I play Ana mostly and it said that I was playing Ana 94% better than everyone else at my rank playing her yet I lost 34sr over the course of that week. I was playing her well into diamond level but still lost games because you can't carry with healers like you can DPS heroes...

Charge is very good when used right.. horrible if used wrong.. it's high risk high reward
Captain NotAwesome thing is, charge leaves you unprotected. What i usually do is shatter, try to get the squishies and charge the big target if no one's left.
I love using charges to punish the enemy rein for overextending or trying to charge one of my squishies
I tend to use Charge mostly for movement. When I shatter, I try to charge the Brigitte if she isn’t dead by 2 seconds after the ult. Charge shouldn’t leave your team vulnerable more than necessary.

Charge is awful in the pro scene because its so slow and predictable. It's great if used right everywhere else.

i know what muma means by “charge is the worst ability” but it’s good when paired with a zarya bubble or anything else to pretect him when engaging and initiating fights or just getting an easy pick
Great video. Short Pins are great though and it's especially good rein v rein and countercharge. You won't be maximising damage if you don't do that as Rein. Long pins generally aren't as they take you out of position.
Well at least Orisa shoots, so you can carry noob games with her. Rein.... Well if your team is bad, then you do suuuuper bad.

Not uncommon for a rein to get gold damage. I've had numerous games A's rein where simply outplaying other reins have won the game. If your team mates suck they can't be that bad if everyone on the enemy team is focused on you the rein. Role of the main tank is to give your dps the space and distraction to do well. One thing rein must have is one decent healer otherwise carry is nearly impossible.

BB Hoody I wouldn't say he carries harder than orisa. Both there ults require the team to help but most reins just charge in which is terrible for the team. Meanwhile, orisa can shoot from a distance so there's no need to risk your life or your teams because of your selfish need to kill

Orisa for pirate ship seems to be pretty good pulling enemies to one location for bastion to eat them alive
Can someone explain what he means when he's talking about using his barrier in one direction but pointing his camera somewhere else? Doesn't the barrier always face ther direction that you're facing?

Hanamura point B overtime and the enemy bastion began its ult. He died one second later, thanks to the charge that caught him when he jumped down the stairs on the right-hand side of the point. Surem the charge is useless. Rather, it is necessary to use this ability at the right time.
The only reason I use charge is to pin a briggitte off the map when rally is active. Don't have to worry about them having armor if the ulting briggitte is falling into a pit.

Alpha If you're getting mashed in the face with a giant hammer, it's difficult to remember that an enemy hanzo might be sniping at your or your teammates at the same time. It hurts to take 75 damage for free, but there are worse things.

I mostly use the charge as a counter to other people charges.
He pronounced Brigitte at least 3 different times in this video. "baguette" ,"bruh get" ,"brighetty"
There's a rumor where if the two reins are away from view, they spam hello, Beer!, and crouch at each other.
I always thought Muma is joking with Brigittes name, but it seems that he genuinely doesn't know how to pronounce it :D

Even though this was made in Season 10, Gold players take these tank tips too literally and hold M2 in all situations into a Brig + Doomfist, Torb + Unexpected Bastion, actually in fact the issue is 90% shield management which is usually terrible, when ultimates and flanks start to drop and the shields need more precise management and reads

I feel stupid, but I don't know how he does the camera turn trick: How can you move the camera without moving your shield (the direction you're facing)?
hold left click while shielding
Hold Left Click while your shield is up, and move your mouse to rotate the camera.
Console: hold your hammer swing button (right trigger default)

I'm a rein main and pinning with precision is key. His shield is awesome but if you pin after a missed shield bash or a mercy it means so much for the team. I disagree. Rein is a precision character if you hit your flame strikes and nail your pins he is an absolute formidable foe.

Lol if you whiff earthshatter...its not a big deal becuase it's earthshatter...ie because its super bugged. Shield tanks are even more screwed when sym comes out...you effectively help her charge beam and replenish ammo. Cuase thats apparently not broken af

but orisa is like the best counter to rein (except for reaper)
For those rein tricks to shatter them before they shatter you or to trick them by looking the other way and then blocking a shatter eith your shield by turning around quickly.... That's not possible on conole

Kegan Clymer Golden Rein? What, a gold hammer? Gold ranking? Gold border? None of those things are something that makes your advice more important or anything. Charge is a great ability if you know what you're doing.
