Superb video guys. Love watching your polishing skills. I’ve been using Nasiol for a year in Canada. I’m always impressed with each new product I test from their lineup. Just did a coating with this coating on a Porsche 911. Spectacular gloss. Did it in some extreme humidity so you do have to adapt to weather conditions.
Extra tip: never place towels used to remove coatings on the paint. It‘s one of the safest ways to induce high spots. 😉

Kudos for showing the product properly, and not misrepresenting it as some miracle treatment.
Gotta say though... that's the only true ceramic I've ever seen, that doesn't require stripping the surface with MEK/etc. before application. Most polishing compounds have oils/resins/esters in them which much be removed from the surface to promote proper adhesion.

The longevity is at least the rating from the factory. I've been using their coatings for 7 years. We've only had literally one Nasiol coating fail a year early on a single stage Porsche 911 that we couldn't pull all the oxidation out (oxidized down to primer) before coating.

I relate to the statement about the whole truck being a test spot. I polish a lot of classics and often the paint is different all over the car. It is tempting to go back over a previous area if you find a combination of products or different approach to work better. But it takes so much time and often the change doesn’t work as well on all panels. It’s infuriating sometimes.
Great video and nasoil is good stuff it’s looking like but what is also very nice is there prices. Very detailed video, learning so much, thank you

Jason, any plans on doing another round of Sealant/ coating durability test? 👀 There's some products i would like to see you put to test in your environment
that film you are referring to might be something the automatic car washes leave behind, my truck never had that until I used the automatic car wash 4 or 5 times because i was lazy, just a guess, but it took a good hand wash, iron remover, clay and buff to get rid of it.

@@ChicagoAutoPros ZR53 for a 3 year coating is my popular go to, even though I am FEYNLAB certified. The F2 nano metal coat as a 6 to 12 month coating, is just as awesome and gaining popularity over here.

My experience with the ZR53: excelent results, not as user friendly to install as other ceramic coatings. Have yet to try their compounds line.
That's interesting I hear the opposite. It's instantly slick and comes off with out much fight. What dont you like about the install?
@@Bryans_Garage it leaves a slick and very glossy finish. But it was a hassle to remove. Maybe it is Puerto Rico’s weather, but that is my experience. I’ve asked a couple of friends that are also detailers and have said the same thing. Its probably not best suited for our weather.
I've never applied a ceramic coating and I'm wondering if the suedes and towels u use on the process must be immediately washed or discarded right away
You should discard the towels and definitely duscard the suede applicators for ceramic coating.

Looks good, but the real test is it's durability and how is it going to look two or three months from now with proper maintenance. As far as the rep is concerned, he seemed a little less knowledgeable about his own product, and uneducated about changing out the leveling towels, which is a very important part of coating.
We will have some update videos on how it holds up.
I like the idea of ceramics, but fixing a screw up is beyond my experience, so I’ll stick to Zymol.

5:49 the amount of marring you left in the after portion is kinda ridiculous to post online. Ig he won't notice it, but I would never let that leave my shop. Maybe if the goal for this is a one step, but even on one steps I do the piano glass perfect.
You're also not doing anything to the glass with a one step polish and that rupes foam pad. That pad is acting like a clay bar and cleaning the glass at best
What you are seeing is pitting, It was all over the truck.

im from turkey and nasiol made in turkey .I just wonder will you check this car after 2 3 month or 6 month .I will wait your comments for that ceramic .Nasiol has also better then zr 53
