Holy moly, I thought I was pretty decent at Affinity, but this has so many little trips and tricks I had no idea about -- like using MULTIPLICATION in the canvas resize boxes! Thanks so much.
I love what you did with the canvas effect near the end. I'm going to experiment with that for my own projects. Note: This tutorial reinforces the fact that art is a form of creative expression, whether you render a painting from scratch using traditional methods, or using software like Affinity or Photoshop to manipulate an existing photo.
Olivio, wonderful tutorial. I loved going through it! Thank you for your wonderful explication! Quick question: Do you know of a way to recreate the "cutout" filter from PS? If so, could you do a tutorial on that soon?

Thanks Olivio for another wonderful tutorial. Because of you, I continue to learn about the extensive capabilities of Affinity Photo.
Thank you SO much for this. I'm using it a lot as both my wife & myself like the effect of a photo being a 'painting'. :)
Thanks for this clear explanation and beautiful result👍

Great video - can you do another one on turning a photo into a Water-color painting? They have a much different look from this technique.
