they need some work to fly great but i think i can get it to work out i hope lol i can say at lest they fly and i will get it to work will take them out monday with the new setup and i hope it works have fun and go fly something

i had the two little wings fora long time and had the parts out and used it for other planes but now i'm getting them ready for more air lol i am putting the byme gyro in them and a micro receiver in and taking them to the field for a flight test to set the gyros so it will be stable at high speed mite have to set the linkages if it has a wobbly lol have fun and go fly something

this is the fastest little prop wing that i own and it is fast lol i got it to i think it was 135 mph on a 2200 4s 120c zees lipo so im going to be flying this once more when i go to the field (did not like it in white when i bought it and i covered it in silver and red) have fun and go fly something

this ie one of the best flying jets that i have love it and i added a throttle to elevator mix on a switch to make hand throwing the jet much better worked out great have fun and go fly something (and it calls for a 2200mah to a 2600mah battery i used a 3700mah and needed a hale ounce lead on the tail to get the CG spot on)

@@mikecomeau7419 yes I do and I'm gong to setup the zohd dart 250g for fpv and will do a flight test to see how I will handle it jest waiting on the vtx and camera and if it goes well I mite put a elrs in it and do some long range I have a 3500mah lion battery coming and it will give me about 45 minute flight time
@@mikecomeau7419 I do some fpv flights in my yard with the umx ultrix it a great little wing for fpv and flies well in a small space
@gerardmazz I've got a talon 250 with a caddx vista and kopilot lite. Great flyer so far with the 3500mah 2s. Had it out around 4 miles and it's done perfect. I'm setting up a dart 250 right now also with a vista but putting in inav this time so I can get telemetry. I'm sure they are both just a smidgen over 250 but they are so quiet and fly so well. Looking forward to some epic lr with the inav dart!

New pilot here. Just curious if dual rates would do the same thing as changing the servo rod locations?
@@mikemckinnis3877 no it doesn't the byme d don't care about the dual rates it will override it and still do the osolation you have to adjust the servo linkage
My Xfly A10 lasted all of 2 Mins before it nosed in - I forgot to strap the battery in !!! - Nice flight

Both great little planes. I love the Dart - those wept forward wings just don't stall. The solid foam of the Mini AR suits us Old Kamikazes too. But these days we all pretty well have to use a bungy launcher as the old joints are too shot to pelt them properly. Not having any gain adjustments on the Byme stabs is a problem with these. The stock Kopilot needs to be turned down to nearly nothing to stop them flapping like a wounded flying fox (fruit bat.) Probably a Lefei Sparrow 3 Pro which allows you to set reduced gains as the speed increases is the best plug-and-play stab for these. 1 of the boys has 1 on the way to test.

@@gliderrider yes it is all my planes and jets have different recivers in them I have no elrs recivers I'm still getting used to the transmitter but I do have some long range fpv planes that I plan on making them elrs to get better range
That’s amazing that you fly 100% throws. I’m all over the place when I turned off my stabilizer. Haha But I got it down ok.

I've had a couple of different UMX planes from HH but find I like the Timbers best. I like the UMX Timber EVO better than the first two version so don't regret not being able to find an older version.
the turbo timber (evo) is the best one from the three of them and they are all great flying planes
What gear are you using and how do u install them
@@Wowmanhowa it is the turbo timber evolution or the turbo timber gear will fit on this plane you have to take the tires off and put the other ones on

Nice flight. You don't really get them up into the sky there due to the tree coverage. Suspect it's made you a more competent pilot because you don't have much room for error.

thanks and the tires you can get it at horizon hobby and search for umx turbo timber go to the parts list and the landing gear you have to get the hole thing and jest take the tires off and it will fit on the gear for the sport cub s2

Do you think there is ever a reason for me to buy a radian if the conscendo exists ?
@@Dan-pi6dx the conscendo is a very fast flying power glider in a small space that I fly in it is a hard one to fly but the radian is a nice slow flyer and much easier to manage in a tight space and it's nice to fly
The Radian is really good at thermalling.
Do you have a favorite for those tight quarters?

What makes you consider putting fpv on a plane ? I know you have fpv on the uktrix but why not put a small aio on everything?
@@Dan-pi6dx I do have them on most of my micro planes I pick up a second battery hatch for them have one for the conscendo and the draco and the ultrix 600 and the appliances stol 700mm and the sport cub s2

Only 2 things these little Volantex Rangers need. Some fibre tape underneath to protect from belly scrapes. Plus some tape or a plastic pull tab through the front of the canopy to make popping the lid a bit easier. 😉😊

@@mikemckinnis3877 when I first started flying in the yard I hit all the trees lol I needed a painters pole that extended to 14' lol jest to get the planes back and I never gave up on flying in the yard now I hit the trees once and a while lol
The radian was my original choice for a plane to get back into the hobby. But I got a skynetic Cardinal instead. And it’s been great because it can handle some wind. But the radiant could be flown across the street from me instead of a 7 mile drive to the flight park. I guess I’m never going to to be satisfied until I get one. Lol
Does the skynetic cardinal bind with Spektrum transmitters?
@@mikemckinnis3877 I have no idea. It came with its own transmitter. I plan to put it on a radiomaster eventually. I’m still catching up on the technology after being away for so long. I have seen used Spektrum cheaper transmitters very cheap on rcgroups

I'm a UMX Timber guy. I bet you'd like it also. The new one is 3S and can handle a lot of wind. It also has Flaps so you can slow it way down.

I had my Sport Cub S2 out on Saturday. lol. I belly flopped it & unfortunately I splintered one end of my prop & blew a wheel off of my landing gear😅🤣
This video just goes to show your talents as an RC pilot Old Mate! If any of us tried that on a similar beer-cooler foam plane there would be styrofoam confetti all over that park! Or moving down the road stuck to someone's windscreen! 😱🙄 Horses for courses though - we still have plenty of fun with our rubbery EPP models but at less cost to our pocket. 😉😊
I bought this plane because you said it flew great and you were not wrong. Beginner mode is a breeze and advanced mode is pretty crazy. I run 200mah batteries and get about 6 minutes.
@@rotorhead58d you can also run it on a tattu 1s 300mah hv battery and get almost 10 minutes with good throttle management it a great plane

@@peterkelly2220 well I use a tattu 1s 300mah hv battery but you have to mod the power wire on the plane to fly it or you can get any 250mah battery with a jet 1.25 condition
Many folks are into the hobby today having first owned and flown that model. A really great trainer in spite of having a brushed motor. BTW, looks really cool sporting those bush tires.

Fun plane to fly, but really need almost no wind. And really underpowered to do anything but circuits. I like the bigger tires. any changes needed to add the bigger tires?

It appears from the camera you're flying very close to a busy road at times. It could cause someone to flinch and possibly crash. Cool plane and flying skills otherwise.
