@gerardmazz I'd go 2s it was the best conversion I ever did. Unfortunately mine landed in a tree and when I finally got it down it spooked my horse who gave it a funeral. I recommend putting the timber wheels on it as well. I have 4 extra boards if you need one

@@krotchlickmeugh627 thanks but I have 2 boards from older planes, and I had the timber wheels on her, but she would not fly when I put the FPV camara on it lol, so I took them off

@@mikemckinnis3877 I'm going to leave it like this I think the CG is off I moved it to 31/2" from the leading edge of the wing and the CG is great with 2200mah 3s battery I'm going to test it at the field to see if I'm rite with the CG at 31/2"

@ I’d like to see that. I’m on my third sport cub s2 the first one was just flown till it couldn’t fly no more and the second one blew away so now I’m on my third

@@tboystoys5682 I had 3 of them too lol the first one I gave to my daughter and the second one I gave to her husband, and they love them this one fly so nice I'll keep it this way and jest buy another one to do the 2s mod or maybe a 1s mod I have lots of 1s motors lol

@@snauzze7007 I use a 1300mah and the 2250mah to when I take it to the field but to fly it in the yard you need it ti be light as possible the 600 ultrix is a big wing and heavy already

@ I fly mine on 2s 600s 650s and 3s 450s and the 3s 2200s when I wanna fly in heavy winds and long 18 min flight times

@snauzze7007 I never tried it on 2s didn't now it would fly nice I have to try that now I have 2s 600mah batteries

@ flies like a 3d foamie slow but does great stunts slowly

I’m not sure, typically smaller RC planes don’t have lights so I assume it’s a modification.

@@pryorpp I added the umx turbo timber evolution light kit to the plane it is a very simple mod to do

I jest added the second servo to the wing, and I also ordered a set of navigation light kit so I can fly at dusk I like planes with the navigation lights

it's also scary to fly this big bird in this small space lol my heart was pounding the whole flight

@@gerardmazz ive flown my stick about a mile and a half from my front yard 😁, using 03 and a bandit transmitter , no need to walk or drive to the park just fly there 😂

@TNT_FPV one of these days I will try it but I will use the walksnail avatar system and see how it go

@Dan-pi6dx on my right it gets very windy for some reason and on my left it not as windy and straight ahead of me is hardly any wind I think the mountain to my right is what causes the wind

@gerardmazz what battery did you fly with?

@@mikemckinnis3877 the first flight was with a 3s 1300 mah tattu battery I changed the ic3 connector on the plane to a xt60 I have all xt60 batteries

@gerardmazz if you switch the battery and esc positions post it please, im curious how it effects the performance.

@@mikemckinnis3877 will do that but first I'm going to set a new CG on the wing the manual says 115mm from the leading edge of the wing and I think it is too far so I will try it at 35mm instead so see how it does

@@Dan-pi6dx it's amazing compared to analog but I will still use both most of my planes are analog I only have 3 digital fpv planes for now

@gerardmazz can't you figure out a way to make the systems transferable so you could only have a single camera and move it around

@Dan-pi6dx yes I'm going to try to do that the vtx on the ultrix is Removable but the camera is foam taced to the plane so all I need is more cameras and it can be moved to other umx planes

​@@gerardmazzPerhaps a 3d printed mount that either has a latch or is friction fit into and you can glue the mount rather than the camera and the peice would only be a few grams

@Dan-pi6dx that would work great but I don't have a 3d printer to make it

@@Dan-pi6dx it's not that bad if you have a fpv goggle with a hmdi input the vrx with the 1s lite kit is 220.00 and that is less then half the price of the goggles but if I didn't have the cobra sd goggles I would not have tried it

@@BillKisel yes she flies jest as good but a little slower then the 4s battery

@@gerardmazz Did you have to add any nose weight or was just having the battery all the way forward enough to hit a good CG?

@BillKisel with the 3s 300mah battery you have to put it up agent's the motor mount and the cg is nice

@BillKisel the CG point is at the carbon spar on the wing I like it a little noise heavy and she flies great that way
