I am a convert from the Netherlands. During ramadan 2013 i said the shahada, but it took me 3 years to start the to wear the hijab. I am so happy i am wearing hijab now, i never took one step outside my house without hijab. But now i ask myself sometimes why it took so long before i started to wear hijab. I would like to say to woman/Girls Who are also doubting to wear hijab, beat this shaytaan Who is talking to you. And i promise you, you Will feel so much stronger, happier and your face Will be full of nour. And most important you Will feel always and everywhere this strong connection with Allah swt.If i can wear it, every woman can. May Allah swt guide all of us to the straight path.

@Achraf Er-ramy ANY ONE WHO REJECTS Hadith A Saheeh AHaadeeth A Sound Hadith Of The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Fear For He's Islam PROOF From The Qur'an The Prophet’s Sunnah is the second source of Islamic sharee‘ah. The revelation came down to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with the Sunnah as it came down to him with the Qur’an. The proof of that is the words of Allah, may He be exalted (interpretation of the meaning): “Nor does he speak of (his own) desire. It is but a revelation revealed” [ Qur'an an-Najm 53:3-4]. Allah, may He be exalted, has enjoined upon the believers complete submission to the words of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and his hadith and rulings, to the extent that He, may He be glorified, swore by His divine self that whoever hears the words of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), then rejects them and does not accept them, has nothing to do with faith at all. He, may He be glorified and exalted, said (interpretation of the meaning): “But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission” [ Qur'an an-Nisa’ 4:65]. Hence there was consensus among the scholars that whoever denies that the Sunnah constitutes shar‘i evidence in general terms, or rejects a hadith of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him - knowing that it is the words of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) - is a dis beli ev er, who has not attained even the lowest level of Islam and submission to Allah and His Messenger. The hijab shows modesty so when i walk outside i don't have to worry about my hair a mess or feel insecure because when i wear my hijab i feel brave and determined
sorry, I don't want to bring discomfort to anyone through my comment, but with hijab or without the hair should not be a mess... when something is messy, surely other things are messy too, so ... wearing a hijab to cover the mess is like sweeping the dust under the carpet; many women feel brave and determined without wearing a hijab; but if hijab helps you be brave and determined well, why not wearing one
Hijab does inculcate modesty, but modesty isn't the feeling you'd get with your mess covered, that's confidence. Sorry I'm just going around correcting people's grammar and logic, I'm sort of compelled to be like this. Hope you won't take offence. Have a nice day. سلام!
@Taqdis Ansari sorry but I said what I said if you knew me you would know what I am talking about but you don't I come from a family where we can't go outside looking just any type of way meaning hair has be done clothing has to match and shoes has to also match but I don't have to worry about that because I just put my hijab on and overgarment on so I don't worry about people's judgement why because they don't know what my hair looks like under my hijab and they don't know what I am wearing under my overgarment if you were put trough the stuff I was put through you would want to cover your self too hope you understand
@@gabrielapetre3009 okay but modesty and bravery represents more than one thing modesty to me can be what to might think is bravery and bravery to me could be what you might think is modesty you don't know what builds me up and you don't know the stuff I was put through to to this day I am a Muslim in a a Christian family and Christian house hold who doesn't support of my religion so don't talk to me about what I think in modesty and bravery is to me you don't know me
M Zeny The circumcision talked about in sahih sources, for females, in particular. Do you deny allah’s blessings for females when they get their “bazr” snipped as children?
I am a Muslim, but I never wear a hijab. And I never feel the difference of my faith to Allah, wearing or not wearing it. I do the very important obligation to Allah, the sallah. And not wearing a hijab doesn't make me feel like I am a bad person. I am doing good and I never want to harm anyone with my words and actions because I know Allah doesn't like that. I do good deeds because in the name of Allah. Eversince I learned the beauty of Islam since when I was a little girl until now it has never escaped from my heart even once. In my mind and my heart, I am very thankful and proud to be a Muslim. I choose not to wear hijab, I am not convinced with any Khutbas or other people's words. But I do dress modestly. Being modest is not only shown through your hijab, but also with your words, action and how you treat other people. It actually hurts me seeing Muslim women in hijab and not acting modestly in their words and actions. It hurts me. I don't hate them. It just hurts deep inside that makes me cry because hijab is already tradionally known to be worn by a Muslim. Some Islam gurus in our place even said that if a woman doesn't cover her hair, it will become snakes in hereafter! (Like, what verse in the Quran proves that.) I heard this many times, but I am not even convinced. These are just exageration to force women to wear hijab. Therefore, some women, learned this first, especially young ones, and skipped to learn the real essence of modesty which is the manners, the words, the actions, the decency and so on. However, though I am not a woman in hijab, I am very happy to see other women in hijab. My heart always says "I am proud of you. You are loved by Allah. And please Allah, protect her." I can't count how many times I have already said this in my heart everytime I see a woman in hijab. Only Allah knows us well. He knows our heart and he hears even our little prayers. May Allah bless everyone with open heart.
I reverted to Islam about one and a half years ago. I started wearing hijab right away. I can say that I see the difference between wearing hijab and not wearing. Before I started wearing hijab I got harassed by men a lot. I always dresses modestly according to western standards. When I started wearing hijab I noticed that pretty much all the harassment stopped. I feel like I understand the benefits from wearing hijab first hand.
May I ask where you live? Bc if you live in a foreign country it’s mostly bc people want nothing to do with you but spend one day in the Middle East and you could be wearing niqab and you’ll still get harrassed love , the hijab has nothing to do with harassment with all due respect
Beautiful story Holly. Of course in the Quran we are told to practice the hijab, but so is lowering the gaze.. and that also applies to both men and women. So if you still get harassed even after wearing hijab, that's not the fault of the hijab, but rather the problem in "lowering the gaze" among men. You have done your part. Keep going strong.
What I understood from the video is that at that time women were already wearing headscarf and they was numerous fashion (including men). However, Allah specified women to cover their chests. So for me, dressing decently and hijab of the eyes and manner is more important. I do appreciate people who wears headscarf. However, there are some women who goes over the top with accessories and make up as if to compensate the hijab hence drawing attention more to them. Anyone agrees or disagrees?
When people question the hijab and they start saying covering your hair isn't mandatory I always say this: We cover our hair for reading namaaz, praying Quran, for Umrah and Hajj. This is something no one will dare question, you wouldn't dare performing these acts of worship without making sure every hair on your head is tucked away out of sight, right? So why not extend this (headcovering) to your everyday life? Make your everyday normal life an act of worship, an act of ibaadat, be in a constant 'state of ready' Salaam x
In Bible, women who nit cover their hair, shave their head... This is the command from bible.. In Quran, it is given as a guide with quote 'it is better for you' the are no punishment stated for it... So it is a guidance for people to follow... Its also stated thats for women who pass the menstrual age, it is not required of them. Sinead o Connor really understand this, she state this in one of her interview.. she knows the hijab is no more required of her, yet she consciously choose to wear..
@Shiza Amjad the verse 24:31 specifically mention headscarf which are to cover the chest.. .. headscarf is meant to be use as a hat, so the verse says use the headscarf and extend it to cover the chest area... arabic words is 'khimar'.. you'll find it is the verse if you truly read it.. .. for real life example for it, you may refer to how the christian nun cover their hair.. .. but if you are muslim and choose not to follow, its your choice, no punishment for it.. but do not tell lies to deceive others..
@Shiza Amjad done out of respect ?.. respect to whom ?.. .. . The above verse ends with 'O believers'.. which mean 'for those who believe'.. .. .. so it is really your personal choice to believe or not to believe.. that is if you're muslim.. if you're not, its a learning curve on why Nuns wears the hijab too...because in bible, women are punished if they dont cover.. .. but for Quran.. it is meant for those believing in quranic verses..

Please listen to the video carefully before bad mouthing Scholars. - Hijab in the Quran refers to an extra layer or curtain which Allah prescribed for only the mothers of the believers. This is what Sheikh Yasir refers to in the video when he says you don’t have to wear the Hijab and if we look amongst the Ummah there aren’t many if not any women who maintain a physical barrier i.e a curtain. - Sheik Yasir also said Allah does say that the Khimar and Jilbab should be worn by all believing women. To conclude, please don’t confuse Khimar and Jilbab with the Hijab. They are two different things and Sheikh Yasir who is way more qualified in the Deen than any of us posting here, has tried to clarify the difference between the two. We should know are position and the lack of knowledge we have in comparison to great scholars and that fact that we don’t have any credibility in forming opinions before we start refuting them.
Whoever u r,first of all only Allah subhana wa Ta'ala knows the best of one's Deen...who is qualified or not...don't be judgemental and degrade others in compared with this sheik...what do you even know about others who r posting their personal thoughts...what if those people are the people of jannah...so stop degrading other people in comparison with others...only Allah knows the best

We won't get many answer in our religion.... e.g. Why do we only pray 4 rakat in asr, zuhr, isha. Why can't 5 rakat..? Why is prayer accepted only if its prayed 2 rakat, even it may be fajr sunnat..? And more... ...so, we should first believe and do the duty Allah ordered us to do.... Allah knows the best.
Thank you so much for explaining the correct meaning of the verse given in Quran.I wear head scarf and abaya and people around me keep asking me that what is stopping you to cover your face as well..They keep insisting that Allah has told in the Quran that a woman should be completely covered. All parts of her beautification should be covered and face is one of them.
Hijab is mentioned in the Quran and you r wearing it..... The words of Allah are comple for us if it's hijab it's only hijab not niqab...... U cannot please the Allah by doing those things that are not mentioned in the Quran...
Hijab is just such a beautiful thing. I don’t wear it yet but I have plans on wearing it and everytime I see a hijabi it just makes me so happy for some reason
You literally just said Khimar means covering, in what way does that mean headcovering? Some women culturally covered their head what does that have to do with religion? Isn't Islam supposed to be clear and apply to all times? Well this is confusing since Khimar means covering, and the example you used for the horse, that's the skin of the horse, it literally covers every inch of it's body including it 's face so it's not the same as the khimar drawn over the chest. And weren't also those other women attaching the khimar to their ponytail, aka not covering the hair? This just shows that khimar doesn't specify the hair and has a lot of different definitions in different contexts. What i'm saying is that the definition is confusing and the Quran only specifies covering the chest, so we can't say for certainty what the interpretation means, just like with a lot of other things in Islam, which makes it even more confusing. If it's something that applies to all eras it should have a clear definition of what/what not to cover because khimar was worn as a cultural thing and to this day culture is mixed with religious modesty because there is no clear definition of what should be worn.
❝Jilbab.❞ Now what is jilbab? Jilbab is an *outer garment* that covers from head to toe👆because Allah said ❝عليهن❞ which means over them and we all know that over them means from head to toe. Jilbab covers the shape of your body. Allah said ❝don't reveal your zinah❞ zinah includes *[perfume, makeup, jewellary, etc]* Zinah should only be revealed in front of mahrams. There is a hadith where Prophet forbade women wearing perfume when they're going out. He said, ❝if a woman wears perfume and passes by men and they can smell her fragrance then she is an adulteress.❞
Modern women wear underwear underneath her outer garment' so wearing a tent is uncalled for, it is dangerous and not practical. Use common sense, just dress modestly and you are good to go. Forget about self righteous, judgemental people, these people are better off thinking about their own deeds rather that busy about how and what other people are wearing.

Salam Alaykum ,Thanks so much for sharing and imparting knowledge on us. I began wearing my hijab at age 8 my mother made sure I 100% wanted to wear it by the time I started y4 I was a full time hijabi. I’m so proud of this not uncomfortable. There’s some days where I feel as if why do they not wear it and I do. Then I remember that I am the prophets ummah and they are not. That’s allahs blessing so I keep wearing it. Which part of the Quran says read suratul mulk at night and u ll be saved from punishment of the grave.which part of the Quran taught you how to pray.which part of the Quran taught you how to perform hajj and what to say when performing it.This was taught to us by the Messenger (saw) by Allah. So not everything is in the Quran explicitly and that's why we have Hadiths.hope you got my point
@@unknown.9560 Quran is fully detailed and crystal clear. Sister dont criticise the revelations which is revealed by Allah. Think about when Prophet Muhammed has the revelations, he never had any hadith to learn how to pray and so on. If Allah can forgive a prostitute who give water to the dog and give her place in Jannah, will He not forgive women who don't wear hijab? Allah is the most merciful. If we can do everything Allah order us to do wouldn't we all be perfect? maybe we don't even ask forgiveness 5 times a day. But we are human and we have weakness. I started wearing hijab with the age of 10 years I wore it for 3 years but unfortunately I stopped wearing it and I don’t know how to start again I’m nearly 15 now and I don’t know how to do it strictly.
Start little by little, sister. Start with just a scarf around your neck, covering your chest and start wearing looser clothing, and work your way up from there to a long dress and headscarf and more.
Start with loose clothing then go up to covering your head. Remember how important you it is, and how it is sinful not wearing it, learn about its purpose so you want to wear it.
Ask Allah to help you. One point, hijab doesn't mean you have a perfect faith. So don't be ashamed to wear it if your imaan is not that strong. What hijab means is that we are trying to make our imaan stronger. May Allah help us all to become better Muslims. Assalamu aleykum

There is an obvious way to resolve this. Start exercising your free agency to choose. Remember that the people who oppose your autonomy are big people and they will simply have to deal with it. You will continue to be their victim until you do this.
Ooo, you are ignoring the fact that so many girls out there regret wearing it so late. I am one example. I wish that my parents made me wear it at your age. I would be so happy for that. The only thing I regret is not wearing it as soon as coming to the world, haha😂😂 (joke) But I do regret not wearing it at 9 or 10 or 11 :( However, Alhamdulillah, I am a hijabi now)) May Allah increase our imaan and good deeds. Assalamu aleykum :)
Sabokhat Kalandarova You just said the whole evil of islam: its obligation to do “good”. You said “if only my parents would have made me wear it.” If only you had been forced! Satan’s proposal in the beginning was that he would FORCE everyone to be obedient during their earthly probation, and they would all be returned to God unblemished... on the condition that the glory be HIS. Let that sink in. Obliged obedience is Satan’s plan to destroy our free agency. That is islam.
Dizzy Derwish look man wearing the hijab in Islam is mandatory for women and men now I’m not saying men also have to wear a literal scarf men in Islam also have limits when it comes to dressing don’t think men in Islam can go outside with only their underwear while women have to cover both have cover. @Achraf Er-ramy ANY ONE WHO REJECTS Hadith A Saheeh AHaadeeth A Sound Hadith Of The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Fear For He's Islam
PROOF From The Qur'an
The Prophet’s Sunnah is the second source of Islamic sharee‘ah. The revelation came down to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with the Sunnah as it came down to him with the Qur’an. The proof of that is the words of Allah, may He be exalted (interpretation of the meaning):
“Nor does he speak of (his own) desire.
It is but a revelation revealed”
[ Qur'an an-Najm 53:3-4].
He, may He be glorified and exalted, said (interpretation of the meaning):
“But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission”
[ Qur'an an-Nisa’ 4:65].
And Salafi simply means Someone who Follow the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam

The hijab shows modesty so when i walk outside i don't have to worry about my hair a mess or feel insecure because when i wear my hijab i feel brave and determined
Me too❤️
sorry, I don't want to bring discomfort to anyone through my comment, but with hijab or without the hair should not be a mess... when something is messy, surely other things are messy too, so ... wearing a hijab to cover the mess is like sweeping the dust under the carpet; many women feel brave and determined without wearing a hijab; but if hijab helps you be brave and determined well, why not wearing one
Hijab does inculcate modesty, but modesty isn't the feeling you'd get with your mess covered, that's confidence.
Sorry I'm just going around correcting people's grammar and logic, I'm sort of compelled to be like this. Hope you won't take offence.

When people question the hijab and they start saying covering your hair isn't mandatory I always say this:
We cover our hair for reading namaaz, praying Quran, for Umrah and Hajj. This is something no one will dare question, you wouldn't dare performing these acts of worship without making sure every hair on your head is tucked away out of sight, right? So why not extend this (headcovering) to your everyday life? Make your everyday normal life an act of worship, an act of ibaadat, be in a constant 'state of ready'

I am appalled by some of these comments saying how these speakers are misguiding people. First of all the title is in quotes to explain that someone else has said that sentence. Second, the speakers are explaining different arguments presented against the Khimar. Then they go to explain what it says in the Qu'ran and Qu'ranic arabic and it's meaning. They never said to not wear the Khimar; the simply explained the difference between what the Hijab is and what the Khimar is. May Allah bless us and guide us on the right path and forgive us so we may enter Jannat ul-Firdos

I started wearing hijab at young age Alhamdulillah

@@havigaellejoseph6786 I agree to that
I don't mean to be rude but do you pray with out hijab?hijab is a condition for praying. You have to be covered or else your prayer is null
Havigaelle Joseph being disobedient doesn't warrant you good things that's not logical. Allah is not "love love love" like the Christians claim their god is. He loves and He hates. He punishes justifiably and rewards immensely. The doors of repentance are always open and can erase punishments if sincere.
No person can say they have never had thoughts in their head like this. But mashallah to me and all the other girls who dress modest and wear hijab. I’m now 16 and still wearing it
Please tell us which part of Quran says that women who dont wear hijab will go to hell?
Emerald Green - Not necessarily they will go to hell but a really higher chance of going to. If I’m wrong please let me know. All I know is that it’s haram to show your hair to a male except husband and son. Again, I may have got some of it wrong. But the way I see it just wear the hijab 🧕. Better safe than sorry. Even if you will still go to jannah without the hijab, you might not get the highest Hannah.
He was the seal of the prophet, and was strictly commanded to follow prophet Abraham's religion and hence he understood the Quran very well. Remember you have to read Quran with open heart. Allah even says that he puts seal on people's heart when they read the verses. Allah only guides those whomever he wishes. I rest my case, may Allah forgive us and guide us the right path
@@aimamee1688 subhanAllah you are right ive also read it in the Quran
If Allah can forgive a prostitute who give water to the dog and give her place in Jannah, will He not forgive women who don't wear hijab?
Allah is the most merciful. If we can do everything Allah order us to do wouldn't we all be perfect? maybe we don't even ask forgiveness 5 times a day. But we are human and we have weakness. There are more better, bigger deeds to do than wearing a hijab. Not everyone who wears hijab will go to Jannah. Allah will judge us for every good and bad deeds we do and what's in our heart.
These are true facts ☺️👏👏
Not true fact it is 100% wrong what u r saying
these pple have been mantiones earlier by the prophet (saw) that they wll came to mislead the truth of islam using ayat of the quran translating by their means
a very informative talk. JazakAllah
Alhamdulillah I wear hijab when iam 14
MashAllah
I started wearing hijab with the age of 10 years I wore it for 3 years but unfortunately I stopped wearing it and I don’t know how to start again I’m nearly 15 now and I don’t know how to do it strictly.
Start little by little, sister. Start with just a scarf around your neck, covering your chest and start wearing looser clothing, and work your way up from there to a long dress and headscarf and more.
Buy nice fashionable scarves then you'll want to try em yourself
Start with loose clothing then go up to covering your head. Remember how important you it is, and how it is sinful not wearing it, learn about its purpose so you want to wear it.
Ask Allah to help you.
One point, hijab doesn't mean you have a perfect faith. So don't be ashamed to wear it if your imaan is not that strong.
What hijab means is that we are trying to make our imaan stronger. May Allah help us all to become better Muslims.
Assalamu aleykum
I wear hijab since 5 years ago, but idk why can't I really like/enjoy it. Sometimes I got envy seeing my friend's beautiful hair and cute clothes. But I don't want to give up. I hope anyone could support me. How to love khimar/jilbab/hijab?
It's not comfortable, I can't stand it anymore! But I'm under pressure!
I always fast during ramadan and i always pray and read the quraan, and i wear hijab!
You’re a hypocrite.
Look at the profile photo you use- a girl with hair exposed, & colorful clothes.
Think about the image you admire and your role in promoting it.
Dizzy Derwish dude just shutup, are you dumb? So she can’t use an image of random person with hair expose. I say the image is beautiful and woman can have this much freedom and make choice as long as it is in Islam boundaries

Wth..? I can do wtvr i want. Its not even bad for me to use that pfp lmao. And if u r muslim then u shouldn't hate like that. + this was 7 months ago- lmaoo.

Thank u :)
belle ꕥ You are sorely, sorely misguided.
You CANNOT do whatever you want.
I’ve been forced to wear hijab since 9 years old and I think because of it I’ve grown to hate it and I feel uncomfortable and not like myself covering my hair.. but I don’t want to feel like this.. I want to be proud and happy to wear it like we should😭 I really don’t know how to resolve this
Just try and think about why u are feeling this way and replace these thoughts with more positive ones
The only thing I regret is not wearing it as soon as coming to the world, haha😂😂 (joke)
But I do regret not wearing it at 9 or 10 or 11 :(
However, Alhamdulillah, I am a hijabi now))
May Allah increase our imaan and good deeds. Assalamu aleykum :)
Sabokhat Kalandarova You just said the whole evil of islam: its obligation to do “good”.
You said “if only my parents would have made me wear it.”
If only you had been forced!
Ok now please stop saying these things one I’m tried of hearing it just because i cover most of my body doesn’t mean I’m oppressed and this sister brother wants to wear the hijab for making god happy but doesn’t want to wear it so in Islam we try to help people who feel like this so please stop coming in and tells her it’s time to stop the “ cycle of oppression “ or something like that it’s just a piece of cloth like calm down a piece of cloth ain’t oppressing anyone
I started wearing a hjiab when I was 2 till 4 but I wore it like some days and other days without but when I was 4/2 I never took it off like in school I have been wearing it for 8 years and wearing it makes me happy and confident and I'm glad I started young
