This is another absolute treasure! Seems footage of Tim is so rare and hard to come by, even in the internet age. One of my favorite songwriters of all time--thanks for the upload!

genius and brilliant- words nowadays so often used for people who don't deserve it at all- Tim Hardin deserves these qualifications for 100 % and more! He is the best singer & songwriter I know.

One tune I can't get enough of is a John Lee Hooker song he covered with Joe Zawinul on piano called Hoboin'. That is a stone groove. :)

Looks to be from the same charming footage as with twiggy (Lady from Baltimore).
That's our Twigs at the beginning.
Early 70's Twiggy DOES look like misty roses.
To those wingeing about imperfect strings, being stoned etc...
You remind me of those fat blokes watching sport from the sofa & telling world class athletes how to play.
Amazing how Mr Hardin could be OFF HIS GOURD yet deliver transcendental performances.
Part of his perfection is the heart & soul in the performance - which has nothing to do with robot like correctness.

I've only heard Colin Blunstone (lead singer of the Zombies) sing this one. The original is great too. You don't hear lyrics like this now just crap like "shorty's got boobies like wow oh wow".

@sohooded i was asking questions, i wasn't giving answers. i wouldn't know enlightenment if it ran over me while i was crossing the street. my one statement was simply that some people's voyeuristic tendency to investigate the private lives of others troubles me. public people don't give up their private lives. their private lives are taken from them. some may want this, and some may not. i judge no one, but certain behavior traits bother me. do you have any useful answers to my questions?

is it only superficial people with no knowledge of musical artistry who make pointless comments about performers rather than their music, or do superficial people with some knowledge of musical artistry make these kind of comments as well? or do some people just have fixations on the habits of others, so they'll have some gossip to share during times of idle chatter with other like-minded individuals? this voyeuristic tendency of some people troubles me. are their own lives so uninteresting?

Tim has created some great songs. But to me, this is not one of them. This really is too melodramatic and whiny to my taste. When it comes to 'ballads of the broken heart', Hang on to a dream is the best song ever written.
