I know Tim was totally consumed with his love, from wherever it came. I know the lady's name was Suzy Moore, but he must have had emptiness he was looking to fill..I went to his concerts from 1968 through to the 70's. I believe he went through a divorce, had problems with that, and felt hurt and pain, which trailed him through his short life. which is sad..
Met him the St. Louis back in the late 60s at Washington University concert... Shook his hand telling him how much I loved his music! He winked and said thanks. Sorely missed RIP Tim!
What an awesome performance, and to see this almost 40 years later. Never saw a live performance by Tim Hardin before- and certainly not Twiggy, although I have all of Tim Hardens old records.. Unforgettable, really. Thank you, Wiggy Videos!
One of my favorite Tim Hardin songs, I have recently re-discovered Hardin's Lenny's Tune...,. I keep trying to find the video of Tim Hardin playing the piano at a concert at a family member's home in Eugene Oregon... Imagine a fantasy concert of Tim Hardin, Jackson C. Frank, Nick Drake, John Martyn, David Blue, Karen Dalton, Richard Farina, Fred Neil, Tm Buckley, Tom Jans and all the others I never got to see perform live.
Was a big Tim fan years ago and just rediscovered his beautiful music. So much soul, a fabulous voice and such great song writing. His songs will be with us forever.

I'd love to see the show Twiggs. Twiggy is a very gifted singer and it's a pity that more people in the UK didn't recognize this fact. I have all of her albums. She is a talented singer and actress.
This , as Blueberry Night says, is very sweet. It's also a revelation. Twiggy can really sing, and she makes this a knockout version of the song. Noticing how thin Tim is, and remembering that he died of a heroine overdose in England, I wonder if this was near the time of his death. Twiggy looks at him with what might be concern. Anyway, he's letter perfect, as is she. Too bad this clip isn't more popular. De gustibus non disputandem.
This was filmed in 1974. Tim died in Hollywood, California in 1980 and weighed close to 200 pounds when he died (have a look at the cover of his "Homecoming Concert" LP if you want to see what he looked like at that point).
Did Twiggy ever record an album? Is this song on a Tim Harden album with Twiggy singing with him? I know Twiggy was famous for modeling but she could have made a career of singing. I don't think too many people know of her being a singer.
Did a couple of albums in the late 70s, 1st being backed by Clover, around the same time the backed Elvis Costello on his 1st album. Didn't set the world on fire, decent enough, she can hold a tune.
Actually, Tim is my uncle... the lady from Baltimore was his wife and mother of his son... this is a fantastic love song!
It's another incredibly beautiful song from an artist who was able to bring true emotion and soul to his songs.
First Love Song is also a gem.
It was awefull he was on heroine , a pitty, RIP .
a friend of mine brother was married to Tim's sister, my friend brother died in a airplane crash...

Twiggy did a good job here!
What a song and what a treat to see and hear Tim Hardin
Twiggy murdered that song, her voice is too shrill for a love song
Never knew Twiggy had such a beautiful voice
How did I miss that Twiggy was such a great singer?!
Fabulous duet. Wow Twiggy is really more that a pretty face. Very talented lady.
I agree! She appears to be a very deep, kind person.
Time? Just time to listen to Tim again-time and time again.
Met him the St. Louis back in the late 60s at Washington University concert... Shook his hand telling him how much I loved his music! He winked and said thanks. Sorely missed RIP Tim!
This...made me cry. So sad that he left us so soon. ❤🙏

His songs were featured in the soundtrack of my boarding school years. Gone too soon!
Astonishing performance

Beautiful song. Love Tim and Twiggy together.
He sings from deep inside very moving. My friend was a singer from the 1960s called Gary Farr, also a blues singer, I wonder if they ever met.

You can see from this performance, without a doubt, that Twiggy was(or is) a great woman, and old Tim was some songwriter. What a combo!
Such a beautiful tune....full of love!
Best singer songwriter ever.
Yes, without a doubt.
He really preformed from somewhere deep inside himself.
I find his preference mesmerising❤️🙏🏼
he is right up there with dylan and smokey robinson
@@harmonichebe Smokey Robinson?? What has he to do with real genius?

Goodness me....(and sorry and so late to this party)...but Twiggy can SING!!
This made my night. Thank you.
lovely duet - very gentle...sweet is the right word...
Dulce!
This is very sweet.
I'll have to say that misty roses is my favourite tim song.
Twiggy could sing!

it says the year of this towards the beginning... i think he died like 6 years later!

year?
Twiggy... get the hell out of the way of this legend.
Anyone know the approximate date of this performance or what show/performance was this from?
at :30 it says just 1974
The Show is Twiggs, 1974
@@dennisleecleven3209 She's terrific. Sang this beautifully with him.
Approximately last century. A show where Twiggy sang with Tim Hardin.
Wow, he opened his mouth and Ron Sexmith came to mind. He was/is probably a big influence on Ron.
"That's what I'm about."

Saw her on The Muppet Show in 1977 doing a version of Country Joe's song Here I Go Again
@@martinlfoyle Well she did more than hold a tune here. Beautiful bell- like tone and sensitivity.
She had her own show on BBC2 in the Seventies.

I am in USA. I don't think that program was televised here. How long was it on TV in England?
don't make em like this anymore
What a shame, one of the best song writters ever. Can't be the same said for Twiggy though.
Yeah, it is a real shame that Twiggy was not a great songwriter. Heartbreaking even.
:-)
talented singer if sober. but was not
so nice 😃
