My dream is to become an Asian manager for the uk leagues I hope it won’t take me 20 years to achieve it. Thanks for sharing this we Asians have an even tougher road ahead of us.
Kompany is the man, called it before he started the season, he's the second Rijkaard but how it looks is that he will gain a greater momentum and will become unstoppable. Remember how Wenger as a foreign manager changed the dynamic of English football, Guardiola revolutionised a style of play and has dominated and from this came Kompany. So far Kompany has had a better Managerial career than Gary Nevile and the rest of Fergie's Fledglings even though no doubt he has had a harder path to tread. Most importantly to draw comparisons to NBA (Basketball) Football is a poor Black kid's sport, every black kid on the street wants to be a footballer or a Basketball player, not a polo player, not a golfer or a cricketer, they need role models on the pitch and after they hang up their boots. This stuff saves them from picking up a knife or a gun. Does everyone agree?
we have the same opportunities but as a black person you always have to work a step harder every day you are being watched!! Arne Slot/ Pascal Jansen Pascal Jansen (London, January 27, 1973) is a Dutch-British football coach. He was head coach of AZ from December 5, 2020 after Arne Slot was fired until January 17, 2024. Since June 13, 2024 he has been head coach of Hungarian Ferencváros.
I agree. We have to work harder, but I don't like it when we are portrayed as victims. When a person begins to feel sorry for themselves, they have lost the battle. I'm very grateful to live in a developed country.
Ok Barnsy, but Klopp before Liverpool waited for him, he had a history at Dortmund like winning 2 Bundesliga titels, leading them in CL Final and basically inventing a new playing style called Gegenpressing. How many white British managers are there currently in the Premier League ?
But the statical fact Black coaches achieve promotion at a far higher percentage than White British coaches, yet they still get less opportunities, despite the fact 50% of the players in the elite league with elite coaches are black.
@@Delboy0 I never understand that argument with a certain % of players is black therefore it should be the same % for coaches and everything else. So if 100% of the players were black your logic would be it should be 100% of the coaches black and owners and Bus drivers and so on. Look, Premier League clubs recruit the best players and the best coaches they can get from across the world. Thats also the reason that currently only 5 of 20 coaches in the Premier League are even British doesn´t matter the color. Most of the recruitment these days is Data driven anyway for players and for coaches. That´s how Brighton ended up with De Zerbi and then Hurzeler. You think they care what skin color they have ?
@@MarcoSteiner-n5j Don’t play dumb and simplify the argument to justify the exclusion of black coaches. 98% of all managers and coaches are former players. This is very specific sub group of people that most coaches are from that has a high number of black people within this grouping, due to black people having a higher ratio of talent to be professional players than the white population of the UK, meaning the top league of England is 50% black players. Yet despite this, black managers and coaches make up less than 0.05% of Managers and coaching staff across the 7 divisions in England. For numbers of former black players to be so high and the them in coaching positions so low, shows clear discrimination in football in England. You mention statistics, well close to 40% of all black coaches have either achieved promotion, reached a final or won a trophy. That is is only at 2% for English white coaches, so if clubs looks at stats when recruiting they should hire more Black coaches because they have a higher chance of success, but they still don’t. And you mention De Zerbi who was a player in the top league of Italy and this elite level experience as a player gave him the ability to be a top manager. So if you have 50% of elite top league players in England being black and they are being ignored for coaching jobs because of their colour, you are actually making British coaching subpar due to racism. England most successful national team outside of the 1966 team, had 3 black coaching staff. The U21 team who won the euros had Ashley Cole and Lescott as assistant coaches. The West Ham team that won the conference league had a black assistant coach. I think feel English hierarchy still have outdated colonial influence views about black people so discriminate against them because they are not white.
